I'd rather choose here than pep boys or other big chain spots that are going to try and empty your wallet by not being up front with you. The prices of their tires are competitive but the service and availability are of no comparison. Other than myself, they took care of customers tire issues left and right. They explained the details of what the cost of everything was in their invoice without trying to surprise me with an inflated invoice where labor costs were left out like that big chain places. The husband and wife who run this have found a customer for life. The wife handles the front with great customer service and looks out for her customers. I only needed 2 tires instead of being forced to buy a whole set. I could've bought used of I wanted but didn't. I'm pretty sure I'll return for the other 2. I felt like they cared and it shows. If I could give zero stars I would. I came here with just two rims that needed the tires swapped. The previous set was two weeks old, and in perfect condition. They mount the new tires and then hand me back these. (Picture). They destroyed one of my tires and then start arguing with me in front of other customers. They refused to help me and only told me that they would undo what they had just did incorrectly. I obviously didn't trust them a second time so now I'm left with a $350 waste of rubber because of them. The owner or whatever older gentleman was there did not need to then start cursing me out in front of all of his other customers. Very unprofessional. These guys are a joke. Everytime I've gone to get a tire from them for my same vehicle a Mazda the price changes. Sometimes it's only a couple months apart. i recently went to get a rim and was informed that they didn't have it in stock but they would call around to check. They said it would take a day or two so I said ok. I came back several days later with my receipt and the owner very rudely stated what took you, you should have came back right away to get it cause now it's sold out. So why did you give me a receipt as if you would order it like you've done in the past. I just want to say thanks for your nasty unprofessional behavior because I went to New Jersey and got the rim in one day for $40 dollars cheaper. Ive been here years ago and returned 2 wks ago on 9/19/17 to get my tires installed. Tony was on deck and he assisted me with my needs. I felt bad because i bought my tires elsewhere and had them delivered here for installation. I ended up paying more that way. So looking at my tires, he didnt know which to install. After install, he informed me of problems with the other tires, asked how long i had them, called the manufacturer and i was still under a warranty and could get new tires for a lower price. Ok i have to return in 2 wks. Upon return, 10/3, Eurich, the Manager was on hand to assist me this time around. I explained the situation to him, we again called the tire manufacturer so he can become familiar with my case and we took it from there. He saw that i was still quite hesitant and offered i come back on Friday when Tony may be in. I agreed, he put everything in their system and we shook hands. Here i am, 2 days later and Eurich is on deck again. I explained that i felt i was paying more than i should, i called the manufacturer AGAIN, they called him to explain it better, he took the info from them and told me what my New rate was. Even though he probably thought i was a cheap-haggeling female, he had a great poker face. He was very kind and understanding because at the end of the day, theyre not losing out either. Theyre simply providing great customer service and solidifying their place in this tire business. So after this long-a review, i do recommend them for all your tire needs. My tire mysteriously went flat on a snow day and this place was the only shop within miles that's authorized to carry the continental pro contact tires that my car requires. When I didn't know the size and dimensions over the phone, they told me I could text them a photo of the tire and they'll take it from there, and that's exactly what they did! If you're the type that needs your hand to be held, they'll definitely help you every step of the way with patience and top-tier customer service. They ordered the tire and it came in the next day exactly when they said it would and the installation was quick and seamless. Most places advertise "discount" just to generate more foot traffic, but this place actually gave me a discount on my tire. Not that I needed to save money but you know, every penny counts ;). For my second experience, I needed another tire replaced because I hit a pothole and my tire got a big bubble. Not to uncommon when you live in New York City. Anyway, it's super unsafe to drive under these conditions so I texted the same number at 6pm on a SUNDAY and they told me they'd place the order for the replacement tire the next day as soon as they get in. The man explained to my that my tires had a staggered fit (meaning the front tires and back tires are different sizes) and double checked 2-3 times that he ordered the correct tire for my vehicle. From a local perspective a tire shop with this level of customer service is unheard of I will not be going elsewhere for my tire needs. That's for sure. read more

Thanks to NYC's potholes I endured the punishment of a flat tire and it needed attention. My brother referred me to this place but he advised me to show up when it opens. This tire place is POPULAR. Even driving 15 minutes before opening on a Saturday, there is a queue of cars. The garage has room for only one car so flat repairs usually happen on the street. Once I got attention, Tony listened to my problem and told me what it's going to happen (ie what I need). He made me feel comfortable and believe that I would not leave if the car tire was unsafe. Then he got one of his guys to do the repair work on the rim and get the tire fixed. I recommend, but this is not going to be an in-and-out type of deal. You need to be patient (a wise man said good things comes to though who wait) and get attention early. Who likes to wait? Nobody, but it surely beats going to sh-tty Pep Boys. IFHTP 1 read more

I had a bubble in each of my two front tires courtesy of the craters that us New Yorkers call potholes. I was originally going to just replace the two since my car is less than two years old, but for the money I would've spent, it made more sense to me to replace all four. After some shopping around, I settled on the tires I wanted, (Pirelli P7 Cinturatos) and came upon this place because they are an authorized installer for tirerack.com. I then learned that this place includes a wheel alignment when you buy 4 tires from them (which you're supposed to do when you install new tires anyway.) After doing the math, between the shipping costs, installation, wheel balance and alignment, it was actually cheaper to get them direct rather than through tire rack to then have to get the alignment anyway. So I ordered them. The tires arrived the very next day. Unfortunately, something came up and I would have to put it off until the next day. I called them up and they had no problem whatsoever. When I finally came in, I dealt with a very friendly, very professional gentleman named Tony. He took me right away, even though it was EXTREMELY busy when I walked in, and had the work done immediately. He even took a few dollars off my order because of a mistake *I* made in the estimate. I have nothing bad to say about this place or about Tony. Save yourself some time and order your stuff from them. Trust me. Got my husband's truck wheel alignment here few days after realized that the car was driving weird. I then took it to my mechanic and he stated they didn't put in a part that was needed. I then went back and explained to a worker there what was going on he stated oh yeah you need to install that but we didn't tell you. I went and did some research on what tires I'd want on my GTI, and then reached out via their website for a quote. Antonio is always on-top of things making sure I got the best pricing and service. The staff is also very accommodating and great at what they do. Under new ownership, Rosa is gone. Bought tires for many years at National Discount Tires, but will never return after experience there November 2015. The free all wheel alignment is not free. New owners claimed camber adjustment to front end, was not part of an alignment. Please feel free to look up the definition of a wheel alignment; it includes both camber and caster adjustments. They wanted me to pay extra $60.00 for their "free" alignment and when I refused to pay, they claimed they would void all four new tire warranties. Unethical business practice. read more

I came an hour before close on the weekend when they were extremely busy and was still given the complete focus and courtesy of the shop and got my old tires swapped out and new ones put on. I have an Audi A4, and the manager, Tony, goes to every little bit of detail explaining what parts would work, what he will need to do, how much things costs, basically walks you through every little detail, so that you know what you're getting and what you're paying for. I went for the same service in pepboys and my audi dealer, and his prices are competitive and beat them hands down. You don't even have to consider bargaining as he gives you the best prices and best discounts around. I would highly suggest you go to his spot, or even have things delivered to him directly (just give him a heads up), and he'll take care of you. Very nice place. He genuinely cares to take care of his customers and their loyalty. He ended up test driving my car just to make sure the wheels installed worked properly and made sure alignment was right. He also has Saturday hours and I had performance wheels installed. He was one of the few that knew how to get it installed. I had pepboy try one of the wheels and they ended up scratching it up. I needed new tires and found this place through yelp. Since it was near my dad's place, I decided to give it a try. I called the shop and talked to Odie. He knows his business. He talked to me, and offered to get me a set of General Grabbers AT2 for a great price. Since I told him I was not local to the area, he told me he will order the tires and have them for me ready in 2 hours. 3 hours later, I showed up at the shop, the tires were there. Ana at the front desk received me and had me on my way in about an hour. While I was waiting, Odie got me a coffee and showed me around the shop with all the different wheels they sell at the shop and had them on display. By the time they were done with my car, to my surprise, they had done a free wheel alignment also. It turns out that if you buy a complete set of tires, you get a free wheel alignment also. The pathfinder now looks great, and handles perfect. The new Grabbers give the pathfinder that off road look that I love too while the road noise has gone down considerably. Considering they were managing quite a few customers at the same time, they got me in and out in 1 and 10 minutes, not bad for changing out 4 wheels and wheel alignments on all 4 wheels. I will bring my second car to this place once it's ready for new tires. read more

So the other day i was looking forward to get new tires for my Honda Pilot EX 2005 black in google and YELP pops up with NATIONAL DISCOUNT TIRES so i've decided to read further more into the reviews less story short i called and FRANKIE answered the phone so i started asking questions about everything price, tires recommendations very professional and knowledgeable in the process of getting the tires mounted in my car WILSON noticed that my car needed replacement like a new axle on the passenger seat, control arm and leaned. Frankie right away made it happen with the order of these pieces that immediately needed to be replaced. I also was having problems with an ABS sensor and TONY THE OWNER OF THE BUSINESS when above and beyond to get me the OEM sensor for my Honda Pilot 2005 EX which i really appreciate because this was causing my car problems on the braking also throw out the installation process TONY never kept me in the Dark like some mechanics do so they could charge you extra for things that you really don't need but TONY took his time and showed me everything that i really needed and gave me like a semi- training how things work and the functions and the purpose of the pieces that were in need of being changed in order to get the right alignment. This place is great. I highly recommend them for tires & all types of mechanical work. I originally came here to get a full sized spare. I just bought 2007 Suburban, & the Suburban had a dummy. I prefer a full size spare. So I went to National for a matching tire & rim. They found the exact stock rim in stock at a body shop nearby. It took 20 minutes to get the tire & rim delivered, mounted & balanced. I noticed they have a mechanic on duty for front end work. I asked him if he can install a warn winch bumper. http://www.warn.com/truc... Sure not a problem. I also asked him if he can replace the brake rotors & pads with heavy duty tow brakes. http://www.rockauto.com/... Sure not a problem. So I ordered the bumper from amazon & the brakes from rock auto, & came back early on a Saturday. They installed the bumper & replaced the brakes in about 3 hours. Very professional & very inexpensive. They did the bumper & brakes for a lot less then what my regular(old) mechanic was asking. Highly Recommended! read more
