I took the day off of work in order to be home to walk the technician through the projects. No one ever showed up. I also never received a phone call, text message, or e-mail to let me know that the appointment had been cancelled. Clearly, this company is unreliable if they cannot even respect an appointment that they themselves have set up. Do not try to deal with Luminaire Electrical as they are not a serious company. FOLLOW-UP: I was just contacted by Melinda who tried to blame the mistake on me (in spite of the fact that I have the e-mail chain showing that she had agreed to 9:30 this morning. She also did nothing to try to correct the situation. This company is clearly incompetent and not to be trusted with something as potentially dangerous as electrical work. If they cannot manage an appointment scheduled, do not let them anywhere near your wiring!

The gentleman I spoke with, was able to schedule me for an appointment the same week and gave me great information on how best to accomplish my goals. The estimate was also very reasonable after doing cost comparisons. Griffin, our installer was an incredible electrician. He was very knowledgeable and worked diligently and quickly to change all of our outdated outlets with ease. Here is a picture of him, adjusting our dining room light fixture to the proper height. Our front doors were in serious need of restaining and we asked around and had a few quotes but one…read moreonly worked on new and previously unstained door, some were quite pricey, and some would do the staining if the doors were cleaned and prepped. We contacted Handy Pro and sent them photos as well as a description of the Fiberglass doors and got what seemed a reasonable quote. The temperature needed to be at least 40 degrees for re-staining. On Monday, 02/24/2020, thanks to the near 50-degree weather, we were able to proceed. The original flakes needed to be stripped off first. From start to finish, it took Mark Widmaier of HandyPro three hours to get the job done. Mark was very professional and focused on getting the job done right. He even had us closely examine the finished job to point out any areas or spots needing touch ups. We're quite pleased with the result. (We did need to leave the doors slightly ajar until bedtime but was well worth the inconvenience.) Before-and-after photos of fiberglass doors are posted. Of course, durability is important and we obviously won't know about that for a number of years. Handy Pro has experienced skilled trades that can tackle pretty much anything you could need for your house. Mark himself has many skills beyond prepping and staining a door. Definitely give these guys a call for your honey-do list and more!

On top of that - damage to adjacent areas such as gouge in my floor, paint on brand new light fixture, damage to oven when driving screws to seat, paint on cupboard, etc etc, They came back a couple times but everything still isn't fixed. I'm attaching a photo showing my new oven that they installed - It wasn't seated properly the first time (wasn't flush to cupboard / wasn't screwed in) so they came back to "fix" it and now it has significantly damaged my wall.... And - I live in Northville. I've updated my Yelp Profile but it still shows California. ********UPDATE to response below: The lower oven door was not tested for function prior to the handyman leaving after he seated it the second time around (due to it never being attached initially with the screws provided with the oven.) I don't often use the lower oven so I didn't notice right away. And... my calls after that were unanswered. This situation is absolutely NOT due to wear over the years. It happened the FIRST time I opened the oven door. And yes, wouldn't it have been nice to communicate directly?

So accommodating that when they went into our attic to run wiring and found that some birds had entered my attic and were now deceased in my attic, they disposed of them for me. I was so pleased with their work that we hired them again to remove our old entryway chandelier and replaced it with an updated Sphere Chandelier. This was a 5-6 hour task and the two Electricians did an awesome job. They were tidy and I lovvvvve the new chandelier. I then hired again to add a Crystal Chandelier Ceiling Fan to my Closet room. Extremely satisfied with all of the projects they completed. My friend and neighbor even hired them to remove and install her new entryway Chandelier.
