What I forgot to mention last time, but it was true then and it is now, is honesty. Ronnie explained the problems clearly, and I am reasonably technical and handy, so I know they were accurate. He explained what the cost would be depending on which problem it turned out to be. After testing and completing the first repair, everything was working properly. This saved me $350 + tax over the cost of what would have been step 2. My experience with the home repair industry in general is that many businesses will opt for the highest possible repair cost option as a first step. Unrelated to this business and its service, the worst case in my recent experience was a quote for $4,500 for a plumbing job that I ultimately had done for $450. Sorry I can't refer to that business by name because of possible retaliation or charges of defamation, etc. I only review positive service. Negative service reviews have to remain word-of-mouth, so you won't see any from me online. Earlier review for repair of my AC system: Professional, courteous, friendly and efficient. Ronnie returned my call within 15 minutes and arrived within 2 hours as expected. The work was done quickly and effectively. Ronnie also went above and beyond what was expected to verify that everything was working properly.

Keep away from this company. My house is part of a condo. By the rules, if an issue is outside of…read moremy house, all pluming service is free. If a problem comes from inside of my house, I will pay the bill. There is a common sewage trap located right outside of my house. Every time the trap is backed up, all shit comes inside my house that has to be cleaned from inside of the toilet. All techs knew it and I never had to pay a peny. On May 1, 2026 the trap was backed up again. After my call to condo management, a tech from Rapid Sewer cleaners came 3 hours after my call. He went on my backyard were the trap is. After he came back he said, that he checked the trap and it is clean and the problem is inside and I have to pay $125. On the receipt he wrote that he removed a face tissue from the toilet bowl, which is not true. However, I read this only on the next day. This is pure scam to make money out of people who do not read receipts when they sign.

She said that they were busy and it would be about a week to two weeks before they could get to me. That was fine. I also asked for a quote. I called back a week later, and was told that everyone was on vacation, but they would get to me by the end of the summer. I also asked for a written quote for my records. I was told, by Jenna, that was not a problem and she would email me the quote. I received nothing. Over the next few weeks, I called and left several messages, none of which were returned. When I finally got Jenna on the phone, she said that there were 5 jobs ahead of me and she doesn't know when they will be able to fit me in. I asked to speak to her manager. She told me he was not in yet, but would give him the message and have him call me. I never received a phone call...or the written quote. If this is how the people at BKM do business, especially with repeat customers, it is DISGRACEFUL. I felt like I was being strung along, and that they never had any intention of putting my job on the schedule. SHAME ON EVERYONE AT BKM! If I could give zero stars as a rating, I would. I did have a concern almost immediately after the roof was done. A team worker came out to take a look at the back of the roof that I specified, but I only know that by seeing his footage on my outdoor security cameras. He never rang my bell or followed up with me after his visit. Had he done that, maybe I would not have a concern now. I have had to escalate this to GAF to get them to come out and take a look and actually speak to me about what my problem is. I really don't want a problem with a leak to a brand new roof. If you call and ask them to get back to you, after the fact (it's only been a couple of months) that should not warrant the cold shoulder and non response to calls.
