The people who work here despise you. They do not want to help you. They will hang up on you if you have too many questions. They have an attitude from the moment they answer the phone because they do not care about you and if you hint any frustration with the way THEY treat YOU, they are hanging up on you. I didn't know it at the time but was later diagnosed autistic, I sometimes need a little more clarity on certain things or written instructions. They do not like this because they do not like to be helpful and compassionate and will get frustrated with you for needing something repeated because to them YOU ARE NOT a HUMAN being, you are just some bum trying to get government assistance and that is how these people specifically at this office will treat you. It's too bad but this is the reality of being disabled in America. My case has been denied. I lost everything, my apartment, my car, my family because I couldn't get any help from these people. I pray that God helps these people find some grace inside themselves and learn human compassion. And I pray for the disabled that need help during hard times. I've witnessed the women here be so rude , yelling at people trying to get their benefits or things in order. The whole office just looks at them as they yell their business out . Some of the men here seem way more compassionate and respectful. It's outright degrading these people. Specially the woman at station 5 and 8 are the ones who I heard just being completely mean. Seems like the guy at 18 is very nice and sweet and helpful from what I've witnessed the 3 hours here.

He mentioned that the civics test went well overall, but that some of the questions felt a little tricky--not hard, but worded in a way that made you think twice. If you're preparing, definitely study thoroughly and don't just memorize the basics. Overall, a positive experience. Efficient, respectful, and no unnecessary delays. Take the elevator to the second floor, then walk all the way to the left side of the building. You'll see a door covered with signs like "Do Not Disturb," "Do Not Open," and "Do Not Knock" -- that's the right place! Once you're there and waiting, an officer will come out and collect your passport. The staff were super friendly, and the whole process was easy and efficient. The process was pretty quick, some questions, photo and fingerprints. Overall, not too painful, other than the 2.5 month wait for an appointment.

Then gave the wrong check in info to make sure I was waiting. No one wants to sit for hours unnecessarily but if you have had documents disappear you take them directly in. Do better ladies people are going through enough we don't need the attitude especially when I didn't lead with one. I needed to drop it off based on previous experience. These people pay their portion of the rent on time and that is the only good things about them. But…read morethey don't monitor the tenants about how they treat their units and if they are a good decent neighbor. I am a property manager and have not worked with them for many years as every time I had a bad experience. But this time the tenant was referred by HUD VASH and I thought would be different. They do once a year inspection and if there is something wrong which is the tenant's fault, SNRHA asks the landlord to fix it and charge the tenant otherwise they suspend the rent. How can you collect rent from a tenant who does not have money? I had a case recently; the tenants did not pay the portion of the rent. They were fighting all the time, police were called about 9 times only this year and I have the reports of them. Neighbors were complaining. HOA gave me two Courtesy Notices; the third one would be a fine. One of the neighbors found the case worker's contact info and called and complained but the case worker was not even nice to the neighbor. I evicted the tenants, for non-rent payment, damage to the property and not paying for the repairs and nuisance which all cost money. I just paid over $4000 just for materials for a one-bedroom condo. None of the appliances worked. The dishwasher Spray Arm is sitting on the counter top. Washer does not have any inside part, microwave, range/oven, disposal, nothing worked, , toilet (yes toilet, they were using a bucket) took us 4 gallons of bleach and 9 cans of air fresher to get rid of the odor. Hole in the walls and doors. They were locked out by the constable. When they made appointment to take their belongings, they even took all the light bulbs (wow). Anyway, after they left, I contacted SNRHA by phone and left messages a few times, no response. I emailed their case worker and she has been ignoring me, no response. I know, they don't pay or even care for what their tenants do to the properties. I only wanted to report it for SNRHA not to support these people so they don't do the same to another landlord. But still no response.

I have been calling there DAILY since July first for a doctor to see my son-in-law, it hasn't happened. I recorded all of my conversations & not once was I loud & frustrated. I am now frustrated, my next step, if this doesn't work, is to call channel 8 or 13 news, any local news station. I will call later today to complain. I still want a doctor to see him but that is no longer the issue. The issue is blatant lying & disregard for inmates. I had to give them 1 star to be able to post a review but they do not deserve a star.
