First off - I purchased used cubicles from them, and so had an expectation that the products would not be perfect condition when they arrived. Purchase process: I had a specific space I needed to fill, and Dorothy (my sales lady) was extremely helpful finding me a setup that fit the space. My first choice would not have fit, she recognized this, and set me to a better course of action. Shipping/Delivery/Packaging: I had a specific delivery window I needed to deal with: my company closes for 10 days during the holidays and we could not accept the product during the normal delivery window. This was not a problem, and I got scheduled just a few days after we were back in office. Delivery was as expected, I paid extra for tailgate service and the driver was great, setting our cubicles on the ground gently right where I asked him to. The product was very well wrapped up and arrived in great condition. Condition: I can tell someone spent some time "refurbishing" the furniture, as it was all very clean and you could see (and smell) a few spots where they use a bit of touch up paint. This is not to say I am in any way dissatisfied with the condition; quite the contrary; it was in great condition and I am very satisfied with the end result. My only constructive criticism would be to do a better job of grading the condition on the website, as they only listed it as "used," and Dorothy couldn't give me any more detail than that. Small detail- Nobody's perfect. Upon installation, I realized that I configured some brackets differently than they intended(my fault not theirs). This required me to need 4 additional brackets, and the team at National Office Liquidators spring to action securing the brackets, and getting them shipped very quickly. I am very satisfied with my purchase and would absolutely recommend National Office Liquidators to my friends and family. Cheers! read more

Horrible Service! About 2 month's ago I saw a (rare) used file cabinet I wanted to buy. They had 175 of them in stock, presumably from liquidating a large company. I put one in their online shopping cart, so they could get me a quote. I got an email shortly, asking if I would pickup or need delivery. I said delivery (small office, ground floor, etc.). They said it was $100 for the delivery. I said fine and please send me the invoice and let's get going. [crickets chirping] I sent 3 more emails over the course of a MONTH. [nothing] My assistant at work called and left messages. [no response] I now see online that they have only 3 of the 175 items left. I don't know what the deal is, but these folks appear to have been overrun with Zombies or something. ZERO customer service responses to over a half dozen attempts over 6 weeks. So far one of my worst shopping experiences ever! No response from customer service for two weeks now after I called and emailed several times. I paid $539 for the most expensive Steelcase Leap chair they have and I expected much better. The chair came with dirt, stains, some damage, and it is also VERY used. That is exactly the opposite of what I was promised by your sales rep Linda Thompson, who literally took no responsibility after I contacted her and mainly said: sorry contact customer care, they handle those issues, I work in the sales department. I contacted them within 24hrs of receiving the chair, I sent all pictures, I am not getting any response and I am not able to move on and buy another chair as I am still stuck with no response at all. In short, if you are interested in paying $400 for a chair built in 2006, then go for NOIL. There is discoloration on both sides of the backrest fabric, and the original seat fabric might not be removed and since the new fabric is elastic, which makes the surface looks flat when not sitting on it or pressing it but there's something in between the surface fabric and the cushion. The chair came with dirt and a strong chemical smell, and the armrests are sticky and oily, which indicates the chair has been used for a long time. The armrests would not stay stable when resting arms/elbows on them with little force, and the chair also squeaks every time I shift positions. I was not expecting to get a chair in mint condition only paying 1/3 of the original price, but I would not expect to pay $399 for a chair manufactured 14 years ago with defects stated earlier either. It would not be appropriate to the chair I received as "Very Good" condition on the website. I contacted customer service and was given three options: $75 refund, $50 refund with replacement arm pads, or return the chair at my own cost. The customer service became impatient when I followed up, but I was also hoping to resolve this soon and do not want to spend so much time describing the chair condition, explaining the issue, and disturbing them. I called Wednesday and he was waiting for Phoenix to get the info, I called Thursday, and the story was the box was too big for FedEx, I asked for the dimensions and weight, punched it into UPS and it said 2-day delivery with insurance $148. Told Sal I would email him the UPS label, he said wait and he would see if it was OK. Slipped to Friday, slipped to Monday and the story after a week is that they won't box it, it needs to go on a pallet (this is a regular office chair) and shipping for the pallet will be over $400. Within 5 minutes of posting a bad review with the BBB I was contacted by a regional manager who volunteered to send a new drawer right away. I have now changed the review from 1 star to 3 stars to reflect companies willingness to finally take action. I decided to leave the original review here because it shouldn't require a person to wait that long to get something done. The original interaction was fine and the furniture itself has been mostly good, however the service after the sale is extremely poor. You might be OK if your business is within a few miles of their office but not if you happen to be an hour away. We purchased 36 desks and chairs so we may not be a big important customer but we should not be unimportant. We have been trying for weeks now to get someone out to repair a drawer that fell apart on one of the desks and we keep getting blown off by one excuse or another. I would not be posting this review had they just taken care of us but my agent who hasn't been able to use his desk all this time feels completely unsupported by me and as a business owner that is unacceptable. Per my chiropractor's recommendation, I went in looking for the perfect chair after being disappointed by the limited selection at other stores. Upon arrival, Chandler greeted me and offered help. I thanked him and told him that I wanted to take my time. I sat in every single chair available at their showroom (probably over 70?) and went back to the 3rd one I tried because it felt just right. Their product selection (desks, sofas, chairs, etc) is impressive with a price range of $150-399 for chairs. I ended up getting a gently used "Haworth Zody Mesh Back Used Task Chair, Red and Gray" for $399 + tax. Chandler offered to order it in black, which was the color I originally wanted, from other warehouses they own. I did not want to wait any longer, so I took a red one and appreciated the pop of color it provides to my otherwise black/white/gray space. An older gentleman kindly helped me load it into my car. I ordered 13 used chairs and was expecting the typical "used-chair" appearance. However, the chairs I received were in almost perfect condition, as if no one had ever sat in them. I had also ordered 9 new stools as well, which were packaged nicely, no damaged good here! Linda Thompson from the Arizona location was great, and now my office has comfortable chairs for those long days in the office! When it came to delivery however, the driver did not call 24 hours ahead, like the shipping email said he would. He instead called my personal cell 15 minutes before arriving. My coworkers have been busy so my original intention was to give them a heads-up when the chairs arrived, but that fell through and I unloaded the chairs by myself. Well I have to echo the same thing a lot of other reviewers have said. My husband and I came here a few days ago and no one helped us until we had to ask one of the ladies cleaning a desk if there was anyone who could help us. She told us they were at the far end of the warehouse. It was only then that we saw a few cubicles against the wall. Two men were seated at their desks. Both seemed preoccupied with their screens. Once one of the men realized we needed help, he got up and helped us. We found some chairs without price tags and asked how much they were. He gave a price. We said we would take them. We went to finish up the paperwork. Then he realized the chairs were actually $10 more than what he said. And he didn't seem to care that he made a mistake. My husband didn't like that. He's in sales, too, so he felt that the associate should've acknowledged his mistake and still honor the original price. He didn't care that it was $10-he just didn't like the way the associate handled the situation. Not sure what to do, my husband asked if there were other chairs in the same price range. The associate pointed towards the back of the warehouse and told us to look there. So we headed over there. As we were looking, we heard the associate ask another employee if he had seen us. When the employee said no, he replied, "Oh they must've left because they couldn't afford the chairs." Then he realized we were still in the store...and that we had heard his comment. That was the last straw. First, you're not helpful at all. Then you give us the wrong price. Then you say something rude. So we left and we went to Cube King down the street. They also specialize in liquidated office furniture. There, the guys were very welcoming. And the sales associate stayed with us the whole time, showing us how each chair worked. He even gave us a deal for buying two. Plus, he cleaned and steamed the chairs for us and had them ready for pick up the next day. That's what I call customer service. They seem to have good prices....however, I don't know for sure since about 75% of the chairs I looked at didn't have price tags attached. I'd found them via their website and was hoping to buy an inexpensive desk chair. I don't respond well to pushy sales people. So, I was really glad to be left alone for the first half hour as I walked the large sales floor for at least three laps. But, the lack of clear pricing left me with numerous questions. Finally one of the five employees that I had counted on my laps greeted me. He was nice, but was helping someone else. I waited an additional fifteen minutes for him to return and finally left having wasted almost an hour in the store. The prices on the website are good. But my experience was that the ability to actually buy anything at this location was non-existant. As such, I felt the journey from Fullerton to Tustin was well warranted. However, upon arrival, I found the warehouse to be totally disorganized. Very few chairs are tagged. You have no idea what brand you are looking at or what the price may be. I finally met with a salesman named Mike who was very cordial. But, as he explained, their main warehouse is in Phoenix. And that's where the vast majority of the chairs are stored. The slim inventory on hand here in Tustin is not worth a person's time or gasoline to come and view. I went online picked what I wanted, asked for a quote, got a quote within 2 hours, ordered and picked up in about a week. I bought a slate gray and white receptionist desk. Recently bought furniture for our office - I'll start with reviewing the products. We ordered 3 desks and they are wonderful! I was really impressed how great they are, however a few details - there is an area on the desk where you can put cords - whoever created this did not think about how thick cords are and so it's raised and doesn't close which is weird. Also, one of the three desk drawer handles already broke - it hasn't' even been 1 month! We also ordered a chair which is amazing! It's a super expensive used chair - but it's fabulous! Now for the service - TERRIBLE, I would give it ZERO stars. We first arrived and spoke with a gentlemen after being there for 10 minutes just wondering around trying to find someone to talk to...then I explained what we were there for and the guy seemed genuinely interested and super nice. I called them to place a hold on furniture only to find out the gal I spoke to was later let go. Obviously she did not communicate my order with anyone so then I had to order it again with someone else. We ended up coming in to see the furniture one more time before we placed an order - again we waited about 15 minutes until someone approached us. I get it it's a warehouse, but seriously, isn't it your business to greet people when they come in? Once we started speaking with someone and got our order going it literally took 30 minutes to get our order going - why does it take so long? I ended up having to pay over the phone when I got back to the office and the guy who helped me was super nice. Only to find out he was later let go and the guy who said he was the boss said my order was never placed. Wait, but I have a receipt...this manager guy was not very friendly or personable. I had to call 3x's to find out where our furniture was because I could never reach anyone at the warehouse - I guess everyone was let go. Finally, the furniture arrived and the guy who assembled it was very nice. He came by himself but he assembled it quickly. Other than the handle of the drawer breaking off, they're pretty great tables. Would I come here again, maybe. You just have to know they don't care about you and you have to follow up with them but the prices are amazing and the furniture is great. read more

We used this company for all the cubicles at work, yes it was much cheaper and saved us thousands but the stress of dealing with the company has been very difficult. They kept putting off installation and changing day/time at the last minute; forgot a bunch of stuff; kept saying they would be there at a certain time and didn't show up; missing parts & pieces; finally after about 3 weeks of back and forth confusion the cubicles were up enough to work in. 1 month later someone finally came to fix the electrical in a section and was also supposed to install shelf bottoms that are missing in our top cupboards but brought the wrong size. Now, 2 months later, still missing shelf bottoms to the top cupboard. There were supposed to be lights under the top cupboards installed, those never came with any of the 5 visits from the installers. We were told that we would not be getting them after all, even though that was part of the package. 4 days ago (2 months after initial installation) I was told that the shelf bottoms would be sent to us by UPS and we would have to install them ourselves. Still have not received them or tracking info; last I looked UPS doesn't take more than 2 days for shipment that is 3 hours away. My messages have not been returned. read more

When they came in, they were not exactly what we wanted, so Mike suggested he would order two more so we could have a variety to chose from. That worked out great and we have the chairs we wanted. This place is a large industrial warehouse that sells office furniture at 50-70% off of retail. I was looking for a new desk for my receptionist and they had the same ones I was seeing at Staples but soooooo much cheaper. Literally the SAME item was $799 in the warehouse vs $2799 at staples!!! Crazy!!! Now to address some of the customer service complaints from other reviewers....yes it's true, some of the salespeople there are pretty rough around the edges and seem like they would fit in better in a mechanic's shop than in furniture sales. But honestly if you are expecting the white glove service you get at Plummers, then you will have to pay for Plummers! This place is dirt cheap because they are a no frills operation. And the great news is that even if you have a complaint (as I did when there was some confusion about a modification I wanted) the manager (Rick I think) is a really sweet guy and will figure out a way to keep you happy. I have bought a lot of used office furniture over the past 30 yrs from numerous used office vendors. National Office Interiors & Liquidators is by far the WORST!!! I bought a Herman Miller Sayl chair. They advertised it as completely reconditioned. Within a few months the arms were cracking off the chair and the seat/back of the chair began to have a horrible squeaking sound. Covid occurred and I didn't contact them back immediately after the problems began, then over the summer, with business slow, I had time to do some research on the chair to find that many people have the same issues with the chair, so I contacted Herman Miller figuring it was a manufacturer warranty issue. They punted to National Office Interiors & Liquidators. So, I went back and read the purchase agreement and their website advertising to see that they include a multiyear warranty for the chair they sold me. I contacted National Office Interiors & Liquidators to file a warranty claim. The customer service rep said to send her photos of the arms and a video with audio so they hear the squeak when you sit on the chair. A month went by before I received word back, they've taken the position its not warranty issue about the arms because the chair "must have been shoved hard into a desk". Since I use the desk in my office at home, and no one but me touches the chair and the last thing I do is shove it, that's just a load of bull@#%! excuse from National Office Interiors & Liquidators to avoid replacing the chair, nor did the customer service rep even address the squeaking/creaking noise that the frame makes when you sit on the chair. My advise to anyone reading this would be to either buy your office furniture new or from another used vendor than National Office Interiors & Liquidators. read more
