From…read morethe very beginning, it was clear that this school goes above and beyond to create a warm, nurturing, and high-quality learning environment. The teachers and staff are incredibly attentive and caring. They celebrate milestones and traditions with such thoughtfulness, and their attention to detail really shows in the way they approach both academics and social-emotional development. It is clear that every child is seen, valued, and supported here. Our oldest daughter attended for 3 years and her transition into kindergarten was seamless. She was not only academically prepared but also socially and emotionally ready to thrive in a new setting. Now that she is in elementary school, we continue to see the lasting benefits of her Montessori foundation; she is confident, independent, and loves learning. Our younger child is currently enrolled, and he comes home happy and excited every single day. At such a young age, we can already see how he is flourishing, gaining independence, and building a genuine love for school. Choosing Growing Minds has been one of the best decisions we've made for our children's education and growth. For families looking for a school that combines strong academics with a truly loving and supportive environment, we wholeheartedly recommend Growing Minds.

He is always friendly and willing to help, whether it is fixing or troubleshooting our x-ray machines when something stops working or making sure sterilization is running efficiently so our instruments are always ready when we need them. As students, having that kind of support makes a huge difference, especially on stressful clinic days. I am really appreciative of everything he does for us. Clinic would be a lot more difficult without him and we are very lucky to have him there. I also want to recognize Gabby, who is always so sweet and shows up with a smile on her face no matter what is going on. Whether she is helping import our x-rays or assisting us with getting information for vendors, she is always willing to help and truly is a star in our clinic. Our Junior Clinic Director, Professor Barnett, has been such a steady source of support for the junior class. I genuinely think a lot of us would struggle to stay afloat without her guidance and encouragement. She is honestly one of the kindest people and you can tell she truly cares about all of the students. She supports not only our education, but also our overall wellbeing and mental health, and will go out of her way to make sure we have what we need to succeed. There is no better person for this role and this program is very lucky to have her. All of the faculty have something valuable to offer if you take the time to meet with them during office hours or schedule one on ones. Professor Gray is very knowledgeable in pain control and has a precise system that really helps things click. Professor Golden brings great insight from her experience in a periodontal office. Professors Rudell and Davis are so kind and gentle when providing feedback. Professor Barrs is great at helping you manage situations and giving tools to be more systematic in clinic. Professor Adum is newer but very eager to help and always has such a positive, upbeat attitude. Professor Chebat does an amazing job breaking things down with analogies so you can really understand the material. The doctors are all very encouraging when it comes to radiographs and understand that we all have bad x-ray days. They are always willing to step in and help us make our images diagnostic so we can learn from the experience. Professor Bell is sharp and straight to the point, always giving advice that applies to real world clinical scenarios. Professor Thomas and Professor Coggan both bring a wealth of CDHA knowledge that really helps connect what we are learning in clinic to the bigger picture of our profession. I am also very thankful to the school for the opportunity to attend the CDHA House of Delegates. Director Teel is someone who really keeps things moving forward. She made it possible for us to have our clinic makeover, which has helped us feel more confident in our clinical environment. Student Services is also top notch. They recognize students by name and genuinely care about how we are doing, both in and out of clinic. It always makes my day a little better to see them, especially when I am having a tough day. Overall, I am very grateful to be part of the dental hygiene program and have the opportunity to learn from such a diverse and supportive faculty. Thank you for all the work you do for our clinic.

Me and my mom had an appointment with Roy this morning and that was the worst customer service ever. Roy was interrupting us all the time, I felt ZERO RESPECT (acting like he is a big boss there), didn't listen to our questions, zero useful information and he couldn't simply explain how registration and programs work. I left the appointment without answers to my questions. Roy, (I hope he is reading this) please, learn the basic customer service, learn how to be more productive, polite and open to people (even if we attend school for free it doesn't give you a right to serve us on a poor level). Would I consider joining this campus location?- NEVER ! Simply because of this experience with Roy If you would like to make sure my review is legit, just go talk to Roy and you'll understand what I'm talking about.

While some teachers and staff were nice or at least professional, some completely disregarded the students feelings. At the time I was going through a rough time and would often have issues with getting into trouble for 'skipping class' when I was crying in the bathrooms. When someone came into the bathrooms to get me, the office workers would tell I couldn't leave class or just not go, regardless of what was happening, unless it was some sort of 'real' emergency like medical. This part I'm not proud of. I got suspended multiple times for coming to school high, and there were a few times I had to leave because of hurting myself and getting caught with a blade to do so. Eventually of course I was told to leave, and while I know I could've prevented this, I also know I turned to these bad coping mechanisms because nobody was listening and trying to help me. When I was kicked out from the school the principal, Mr. Taylor, yelled at me and cussed, saying I was 'past the point of helping' and that I was hopeless. While I did do some things that I shouldn't have, students should be talked to properly and not yelled at for things they can't help like mental health issues. Many of my other friends experienced similar issues.

This school district is OK. If you want your kids to experience a stable educational environment,…read morethe schools in East Chula Vista & Hilltop High School fit the description. There are absolutely no excuses for kids to fail in these schools, especially since standards are pretty high. The rest of the schools need much work. The school that is in "land of the lost" territory is Montgomery High School. Did this high school really take certain state money & promised to improve test scores, but failed miserably? Hilltop Middle has many little rude brats who think that they can talk back to teachers. Chula Vista Middle can't control their O-Room offenders who disrupt other students who actually want to learn. Mar Vista High School has students who are bold enough to look at teachers like scum & insult them with no hesitation. Castle Park Middle has way too many O-Room offenders that ruin the learning experience for kids who actually want to learn. I could go on and on, but I'd be here for years. A bright light of hope would be the improvements made with students at National City Middle & Granger. Kudos to the staff at both schools. While this is no LA Unifed School District, many of the communities in this district need to get their educational priorities in check, especially the parents & their kids.

I just want to share this incident for awareness and not to humiliate anyone…read more This happened in my daughter's promotion day(castle Park High School. Chula Vista California) June 1st 2022 it was outdoor and its scorching hot I was looking for a shed and saw there is a long roof under the shed and saw there is a unoccupied stroller, so i stood up at the side. As i was standing, there is this lady approached me (like she owned the place) "EXCUSE ME CAN YOU GO AWAY?I GOT HERE FIRST AND I DON'T WANT MY BABY TO GET COVID" I was literally pissed but i don't want to create a scene on my daughter's special day, so i held my anger and composed my self and walk away. But looking at her from a far and saw a lot of people are coming her way and she didn't give a damn and not bothered at all, makes me think that she hate asian as i look and that pisses me more. If you really care about your baby getting covid, why did you bring your little one to a crowded place? if you really cared enough for your baby you won't risk your baby's life by bringing her to a suspected place and even you yourself not wearing a mask, so how can you protect your baby from the virus? and thats how careless you are as a mom. You have no right to ask anyone to go away just for own sake and you don't own the public place!! Respect should be given to everyone fairly, no matter where they came from, no matter what race they are, no matter what their skin colors are, regardless how they look, We should treat each other with equal respect. I hope this post will serve as a lesson to you. You don't know how your words can hurt other people and also to be aware so that it won't happen to anyone again. Sorry For the picture!!I was waiting for to take off her sunglasses so I can take a better picture of her But only this one the best I can get!! I called the school about this matter and I'm still waiting for the principal to call me back!!! Racism is not okay!! Asians are not virus!!!!
