I finally gave this place a shot and was not disappointed. I ordered a burger, fries and a slice of their lemon pie. The burger tasted very fresh and the toppings on the burger were great. There was just too many onions, but that's an easy fix. The fries were average, but still very good. I would probably go back, but if I do, it will just be to get their dessert. The pies that they make look really good and the lemon pie that I had was very flavorful it's sweet, but it's not too sweet and it's rich without feeling like it's too rich if that makes sense overall was pretty good I called my order in and went and picked it up and noticed it was very clean inside and the customer service was good. My friend and I ordered the sliders. The menu posted with the picture of the sliders look nothing like the item received. The sliders (2), French fries and a regular drink cost $11.90. When the sliders were received it appeared to had been created from a regular burger patty, that was cut into four section, along was a slice of American cheese. The sliders were possibly the size of a regular can biscuit or slightly smaller, definitely not worth $5.60. The fries were okay, but a hotter temperature couldn't hurt. The associates at the facility were very nice, but the portion & quality of the disappointing. Also, the pie samples sitting on the counter area uncovered by the ordering area, too exposed to cough/stray hair, etc... My friend had a soda and stated the carbonation in the soda was not right. The sweet tea was slight sweet. This customer Did Not witness any giant burgers. Customers presence at lunch time consisted of 3-4 tables. So far, I'm not impressed. The restaurant was clean and cute. The cashier was a bit arrogant and lacked training. She had no idea what kind of berries are in the generically labeled "berry pie". Instead of asking a coworker, she just told us she didn't know. She couldn't figure out how to ring up our order. One of her coworkers attempted to step in and help her. She made it clear that she didn't want their help. We tried the chili cheese fries, cherry cheesecake, and the apple pie. The fries were delicious! The cheesecake was ok, but nothing special. We had read great reviews based on how long "Nation's" has been around. Unfortunately, that greatness is begging for help. Here are a few details to explain my comment above: we ordered 2 hamburgers and 2 onion rings inside and then chose a table outside to enjoy the cooler temperatures...I had to go back inside and get supplies to clean the table off, while sitting outside, we waited 40 minutes for our order to arrive...I had to go back inside and check on our order only to find out that it was not completed yet (although we noticed 4 parties who arrived after us had been already served their food outside), I waited another 10 minutes and part of our order was given to me...we received 1 cold hamburger with meat and 1 cold hamburger without any meat (????), 2 onion rings orders that were cold, soggy, and the fried greasy breading was sliding off the onion...I had to go back inside and tell them about the hamburger with no meat patty...I waited another 10 minutes for them to get a fresh burger with meat. Finally got the "real" hamburger...went back outside and we both couldn't finish the meal because of its lack of flavor, too much grease, soggy lettuce, and distasteful onion rings. We tried to talk with them about the quality of food, inefficient service of food orders, and just their overall grouchy attitude...they didn't respond well. We will never go back to this place.
