I am very happy that this new location opened up recently! The eye doctor (dr Chiles?? Not sure of her name,sorry) was lovely, knowledgeable and beyond thorough! She was so honest by telling me not to order many pairs of lenses because my vision will change often because of my developing cataracts. The manager Stan went above and beyond to assist me in all I needed to make me happy. I believe Stan will be the reason this location will be successful! This is a true review for sure! I will go here year after year for my eye care needs. I notice many unkind reviews of this location. we must remember it is difficult to get a new business started, and we customers are difficult! I hate feeling the need to post just to warn others not to go to this location. I ordered a pair of glasses back in the end of June because my benefits with VSP renewed on July 1. The first visit picking out glasses seemed fine and normal. I paid and ordered the glasses. Now my script has to go out to a specialty unit bc I'm blind a a bat (maybe even worse). They estimated 2 weeks, no biggie. The glasses didn't come in for 3 wks. Again, no biggie. However, this is when the issues started. The first pair of glasses were misaligned. They had to send them back to have the pupil points aligned. Told 2 wks, again 3 wks. The next pair came in, the lenses would squeak and would not stay in. Had to have them returned again. Third time should be a charm but not so far... 2 months since I originally ordered the glasses and still no glasses. Called to check status. Got the oh we will call you back we have to call the lab. No call back. I called them. Oh we have to call the specialty lab tomorrow. The run around is a complete fail. So if you need glasses and can't wait months to get them you might want to check another place out. read more

This place does not sit with you when you come to pick up your glasses for Rx accuracy and fit testing. I've never seen this type of poor customer service on so many levels. Spending the amount of money on not 1 but 3 pairs. When the first two pair came in, my husband went in and they handed him 2 of them, but gave him ONLY 1 case. I called the store and spoke with them about this unacceptable customer service. They assured me when he comes in for the third pair, to bring the other 2, and they would make sure to fit test all 3. Three strikes cause again same behavior and poor customer service. These folks do not understand the importance of Fit testing to make sure the prescription was actually correct, and sit properly on customer's face. This was my husband's first time getting prescription glasses. Apologies and we will make it right, mean nothing!!! Nationwide Vision you need to do better!! You deserved a -5 review. Called to pick up my brothers glasses longest hold. Then told me to leave a voicemail after because " all lines are busy" but store is always empty. & even in the store they take the longest to help you. read more

Came in early with a good attitude, left very disappointed. First off, I guess the staff doesn't know how to welcome customers? As they look at you awkward and seem to want to question why you came in. Needing to just reorder glasses for my daughter, I expected to just get her file verified and approve the order, but I guess they want you to wait for an hour and a half before they can actually start checking your file and then tell you they cant do anything 'cause they need a new prescription before they can order the same lenses and frames. WAITED FOR NOTHING! Side note: to the guy that helped us out, we appreciate the apologies and seemed you were frustrated too, but man, that would've been a quick in and out stop for me and my daughters busy day. read more

Nationwide special $99 for 2 pair of glasses with no line bifocal . Progressive $50 per eyewear. I made my first visit and appointment at this new location and the staff was helpful and polite. Everyone was abiding by the Covid Protection protocols - including taking your temperature when greeted. As you can see Jeff who originally works in the west valley photobomb my pic, He was delightful rep., very customer service and has a good eye in helping me pick out my glasses . Came in on 6/11/2024. 59th/baseline. with my prescription expiring 6/30. I sat at the desk for a looooong time with the main dr. I was only able to order a 6 month supply, due to my expiration date 2 weeks out.which was fine. Now its 7/1. I called to check on status because no one had called me. So Im told they never ordered them and they can give me temporary ones. They will send order out today. This is so unprofessional If the dr didnt know what she was doing, and she did need assistance throughout the process. she should have let one of the receptionist handle it. I'm incredibly displeased with my time at this location. scheduling an appointment is all but impossible as they never answer their phones. I wasn't able to get in for my follow up appointment for my contacts lenses in time due to this and they expired. Now they are saying I have to start the whole process over and won't give me the trial perception to take to a different location. The front end staff is also rude and will refuse to acknowledge you. read more

First time coming into this location and it was wonderful. They check your temperature and provide mask for you if you don't have one. The staff is really friendly, and quick. Dr. Chiles had a horrible attitude, I couldn't even say anything she quickly turned me down for everything. I told her I wouldn't be able to afford daily contact lenses and she said ok no contacts. When other Drs. had helped me try out a couple lenses to find the perfect fit. read more

Horrible first impression. Made an appointment online and no one followed up with me. Called in to make an appointment and that was okay, the person on the phone was friendly. When it was getting closer to the appt I got a message saying that the doctor needed me to reschedule, so, I called to do so, but was not able to figure out a time, so, I said I would call back. I then got a message confirming my appt time. Called to ask what is going on-do I have an appt or not and I did have an appt. OMG, get your facts straight. Went to my appt in time and after checking in and filling out the paperwork I was told that my insurance does not cover new glasses until THE END OF THIS YEAR. That would have been helpful information ahead of time coz I do not want to may for new glasses out of pocket. This whole experience was a complete waste of my time and I will not be coming back here. I was so excited to have an eye place so close to me. I will travel elsewhere for better service. read more
