My appointment with the eye doctor was amazing and they were very sweet. Especially the ladies that checked me out at the register when picking out my glasses. Fast forward 4 days I went to go pick up my prescription and the lady Alex was there to help me and she was awfully rude. She made it seem like she had no time for me and had attitude the second she spoke to me. Very rude and very unprofessional. I arrived when they opened and I can't believe someone can be so rude at 9AM. Like come on im just here to pick up glasses not catch an attitude. Horrible experience with her. read more

I've been here three times in the last eight years, and the experiences have always been excellent! My last visit was a week ago - for an exam, prescription sunglasses, prescription glasses, and one-day contact lenses. Despite having an appointment, I waited for about 20 minutes, but I had come prepared with my Kindle. Plus, it gave me time to preview the various frames. The pre-exam and exam went well. Both the tech (sorry, I don't know her name) and the optometrist, Dr. Pooneh Vafaee, were very professional, friendly, and open to questions. When it came to choosing and measuring my frames, Gennifer was absolutely wonderful! She helped me choose - mostly the frame width - without being too much of an influence. In addition, I never felt rushed. (A couple of the sunglasses frames that I had originally chosen were not available for prescription lenses, so it was "back to the drawing board", while she waited for my new choices.) In addition, Gennifer clearly explained the break-down of what I had bought, as well as all the charges. Yes, the final total was expensive, $600+, despite my insurance, but remember - 100% medical expense off, for AZ state taxes! My contacts and two pairs of glasses were ready in three days. Don't recommend. Optician was in a hurry to go to lunch so my exam was super rushed. My glasses never fit well and they can never quite fix them for one reason or another. Even after I purchased the extended warranty. I would advise going somewhere else. I should have know that buying glasses from same place I get my groceries isn't a great idea. read more

I have been pleased with the process and service. I have had to go back several times cause my prescription wasn't working out, switched glasses and had to reorder. There is an employee named Erin that has zero customer service skills. She's rude and loves to talk back when you say something. She grabbed my prescription sunglasses and before I even tried them on she headed the arms and bent them down, again before I even tried them on. They were so tight and I said "they're right since you bent them all down" she comes back saying "I didn't bend all the way down" wow exceptional customer service. and other stuff. The second pair of progressive glasses she didn't even clean and I asked her to bend those a little and she barely did anything. I got the glasses and left. I will go to another target optical to fix my frames so they sit properly. She doesn't smile like she hates her job. Not ever going there again. read more

Went in a little while ago and needed a new pair of glasses... a whole lot of crap went on in between with a lost eye exam I had gotten in Nov 2016 and them telling me my last exam was in 2015. Anyway, Cayla, one of the receptionists, helped out and was super patient while the other lady was being completely rude as soon as we walked in. She was rushing Cayla to pretty much get us out of there. At one point, she hovered behind my dad and expecting him to move out of her way when she could've gone around the other desk... like dude. Soon after she was complaining, "I just had surgery on my ankle is hurting...". GO HOME THEN LADY. After leaving, I pointed out to my mom how bad her attitude was and to find out my mom had to deal with the same attitude from the same lady before. Disappointing as hell. I went in for my glasses/contact exam for the first visit ever. It was horrible no customer service from the girls that work there. They had all my information under another person's name which they billed under his insurance for my visit. That is why they could not find me in their system. I paid for my exam and contacts. When contacts arrived they were not the correct fitting for my eyes I explained to them that they moved around in my eyes. I kept getting the run around and they kept telling me that they would call me, I never heard from them. Then finally someone calls me and says that my exam expired its good for 90 days and that I will have to pay $59.00 for the exam plus my contacts again. I was like really never ever going back and I don't recommend anyone too. Very unhappy!! read more

Dr was great however a bit annoyed that their hours are plastered everywhere however they don't seem to apply.. don't live anywhere near this location and had a few other stores to go to.. luckily this part of town has the stores as well. Specifically drove out of my way so I could wait until 12 when they open (app/online/in store/voicemail message state all the same hours). Only for the place to not even be open at 12 (gate pulled down, dark, not a person in sight). Super inconvenient and inconsiderate. Just update the hours when they're not correct. read more

I love this location because with my experience the employee attitudes are very kind the store is clean and the response is quick when needed. This store is also very well stocked and it sit near other restraunts and shopping stores so its also convenient. read more

Dr. Yeramilli (sic) is an excellent doctor - very thorough and efficient. However, I cannot recommend Target Optical for purchasing frames/glasses. They have a limited selection and frankly, they are very expensive; even with insurance. In addition, I found my lenses noticeably thicker, even though I ordered their high end lenses - i.e. I am not sure I received what I ordered. I can go to Costco Optical and get a superior pair of single-vision glasses (UV, Scratch Resistant, and Transition lenses) for less than half price I paid at Target Optical; plus the frame selection is better. If I am going to continue spending the amount of money on Target classes, I might as well go to LensCrafters - they have a superior product and frame selection. read more

Do not trust their online booking system. I had an appointment scheduled for 4:20 PM at the S Cotton location however I was informed it was actually at the Litchfield location somehow. Upon arriving at the Litchfield location I was told I did not have an appointment. I am disappointed with the service. The same mixup with appointment locations happened to my partner too. Luckily their appointment was still on the books at the other location. read more

Loved the convenience of scheduling my eye exam online. Also loved that an appointment was available the very next day. Doctor made me feel at ease and confident during the exam, ensuring the accuracy of my prescription. The staff seemed to be honest about the style of glasses that would suit my face type and complexion. They helped me get a deal on a pair of sunglasses too! Went a got a prescription. They refused to give me the Pupil Distance to try to force me to buy frames there... Even the prescription paper has a section or PD but they left it blank and wouldn't measure my pupil distance. Both receptionist were rude and were eager to hang up on me... read more
