Third time should be a charm but not so far... 2 months since I originally ordered the glasses and still no glasses. Called to check status. Got the oh we will call you back we have to call the lab. No call back. I called them. Oh we have to call the specialty lab tomorrow. The run around is a complete fail. I was sent to a doctor in Phoenix who quickly referred me to Dr Maynard, who was an expert with my specialised needs. He was so amazingly excellent and knowledgable. I love the entire staff and have always had the absolute best experiences I was so nervous when Dr. Maynard retired, but Dr. Heffelfinger has continued to give excellent care to us and any nervousness I had about him retiring has vanished. I have absolute zero problem with driving 2.5 hours for my appointments. They are worth it and have always been able to work with my schedule. I understand the importance of maintaining eye health, but I expected a healthcare provider to respond with professionalism. When I asked about contact lens options, I was told that a trial pair could not be provided because the brand I currently use was not in stock. I then asked if he could recommend an alternative brand, but he was not willing to discuss other options or provide guidance. The clerk who assisted me with purchasing contacts was much more helpful. He located the brand I currently use, provided a trial pair, and placed an order for the remaining boxes. I was told I would be notified once they arrived for pickup. My appointment was on 6/8, and after not receiving an update, I called the office on 6/23. I was initially told that all the boxes I ordered had already been provided. After I explained the situation and the clerk investigated it further, she was able to confirm that I was still owed additional boxes from my order. Overall, I left the appointment feeling unheard and uncomfortable. While the staff members who helped with my contacts was helpful, my experience with Dr. Abraham was disappointing.
