I was meeting a friend for brunch and we had some time to kill before our reservation. She had been here before so we decided to roll over and check it out. It's an open air market in a shopping strip mall. There were 15-20 different vendors all with beautiful handmade items. They had everything from earrings, rings, bookmarks, blankets, hair clips and so much more. They even had fresh fry bread! If we were not getting brunch already we would've ate there! Overall a nice place to get some Native American handmade items!

Native owned, no imports, all authentic handmade products in a climate controlled environment. If you are looking for authentic, look no further! owner is super nice and will answer any question you have. We spent over an hour talking to her, make this your first stop in Scottsdale! read more

It's open space -- parking lot, actually. It had only a few shops that were selling mostly the same things but handcrafted so each one is still unique! There were home decor, jewelry, clothing, Christmas ornaments, and more. There also was live music although I got there just as they were finishing their set so I have to get there a bit earlier next time. Oh and a fry bread stand! I will have to try that next time I'm around. read more

My wife and I have enjoyed visiting this market since it re-opened in October. We've found some amazing and affordable pottery to decorate our apartment with any many gifts for our family back in Wisconsin. The dance and music performances are always top notch and Pai Pai's Fry Bread is a must have. I had their Fry Bread Taco on my last visit and I'm excited to get one again soon. My wife loves all of the beautiful and unique jewelry found in the booths as well! read more

Great market, beautiful creations, def worth a visit if you want jewelry, decorations, gifts, etc. They also have a yummy fry bread stand and a live band. Easy parking and access and no cover. Support local artists!!! read more

Located this in a travel guide stop by on a Saturday morning Saturday morning one of the highlights of our stay while in Arizona. Fun meeting the Native American to make the jewelry nice selection left with a couple new pieces of turquoise. Would definitely go back. read more

This was an awesome place to visit today. There was a 11 yr old Navajo entrepreneur vendor here that created Nizhoni Soaps (www.nizhonisoaps.com) and many other vendors but it was so good to see a native youth taking it upon themselves to do good in this world. There was also very good native singing and food. If you want to support local fry bread vendors. This is the place to come to support local native artists for sure!!! read more

This is the best spot in old scottsdale! I am extremely happy to support the first and only Native American owned shop in the area. The products are hand-made and authentic with their own individual flare and touches. A must see in old Scottsdale! read more

I have visited more than 5 times and each time I have bought an item from the native artist. Their items are authentic and hand made. I love that they sell fry bread as well and while enjoying the fry bread they have dancers every couple hours for entertainment. An amazing native market and I cannot wait until it opens so I can add to my collection!!! Hope they can expand and add more artist! read more

Native Art Market reopens Oct. 12th! This seasonal market host 35 artists and performers every Saturday and Sunday near Talking Stick Casino. Come and shop while experiencing Native culture and cuisine. The market changes every weekend hosting different artists and live performances from hoop dancing to live bands. Market ends March 29th, 2020.

Native Art Market strive to provide a platform for Native artisans and performers within the Metropolitan area. Therefore providing the general public quick access to Native art and experiences.

Meet the Business Owner: Heather T.

Native Art Market was started by the family owned business Navajo Secrets. This mother daughter team creates and sells jewelry throughout Arizona. They have always struggled with finding art markets in the metropolitan area. Arizona currently profits 250 million a year from Native arts and crafts. We simply want to give Native Americans an opportunity to tap into that market. Buy direct. No imports.

I saw bunches of people wearing masks (yeah!) and we never had to worry too much about social distancing, except when paying. I paid cash so I don't know if any/many take plastic moola, next time I'll find out and update this review. It opens pretty early, but we got there about 930 and there was still lots to buy. I especially loved the gorgeous plants for sale, the hats, the handbags (mom bought a brand name new with tags black leather purse for $10). I think us hoomans still harbor the instinct to go to open air markets to assess the goods, to see who's there, to buy the unexpected and the mundane, and to get outside. This no admission regular swap is the real deal. Exciting isn't it, a special kinda business. If you don't have a taste for OPP I won't get into that, I'll do it...ah...sorta properly. Fast forward to current day 2026, it's giving Goodwill vibes, marking up items so high it's actually cheaper to go into Nordstrom its self and buy the item brand new with no issues. I've heard management has changed and that has been the cause for the price gauging. Honestly I blame influencers for showing off their finds and management for then taking advantage of people also looking for the same deals. But I'm over influencers and brands caring more about influencers than the people who have kept them in business for years, instead we pay more for an item than it's being sold for in the original store. It's a shame greed takes over and people lack integrity. I hope one day things can be adjusted and it makes sense to shop here again. Maybe with another change in management? One that knows what they are doing?

I first came here because I had Navajo Twill Rugs to sell, yes I made them and I'm Navajo. This place is now open I sold my crafts and frybread and used the money I made to pay for GradSchool. Thanks to this market place I graduated, met a lot of good people that I network with, and set up my own frybread business. I miss my customers and I will be selling frybread there soon. This is a MUST!!! if you are in the area. I enjoyed the performance Native American dances along with beautiful music. The vendors are very knowledgeable about the items they sell and you can't beat the prices! Highly recommend stopping by and checking it out! I purchased a beautiful bracelet from navajosecrets and I love it. Heather was amazing she took her time to explain to me the different stones and meanings.
