I love finding little bohemian shops that support local artists and had cool cool glacier ice cool wares for sale. I brought my wife in as she was obsessing about needing a new dress. The staff is great from their knowledge of clothes fitting on the buyer to just being very receptive to needs. Store is spacious with a colossal wall mirror that could handle at least five people. They have a child's playing area to keep the Vikings and Tornadoes occupied. They also have a small serving table with wine and cheese. I would love to rave about my experience at Native Boutique on Colorado Blvd, next to Peekaboo Playland. I was checking out a sidewalk sales rack when Judy, the wonderful sales rep, personally came outside to invite me and my kids to shop. I never would have entered on my own as I'm still adjusting to going anywhere with 2 kids, especially at a fancy boutique. But she was so nice and told me they have a play area for my son. I looked around while I carried my infant daughter and Judy offered to hold her while I shopped freely. Then, she invited me to take a seat on their comfy couch and offered me a glass of water in case I needed to nurse. I have never felt so welcomed by a store! The clothes were great of course, but I would just go back to feel like I can shop without judgement about a whiny toddler, a fussy infant or the need to nurse. I bought two dresses. I wore one the night I got it and it ripped down the back. The other one, I hadn't noticed when I bought it, but was missing a button. It must have happened while I was trying on. They don't allow returns so I'm stuck with two cheap, ruined dresses. It was a cute store, but I probably wouldn't have bought anything if I didn't feel pressured by the staff, who seemed like they really needed to make commission. I like when sales people involved themselves, but I don't like being sold to, or pressured to try a thousand things that I don't want to try on. I also don't like being told that everything I'm wearing looks cute. Not everything looks cute. Cute, local, but on the cheaper quality side of things, and not the place to go to relax and shop. read more
