Bryan and Cherise deserve ALL the stars, but Yelp maxs it out at 5. My husband and I can't say enough amazing things not only about them as photographers, but as people. From our initial meeting over coffee to our engagement shoot a few months prior to the wedding to the very last photo on our wedding day, we had such a great experience! Bryan and Cherise are genuine, joyful, and know how to make a couple feel comfortable in front of a camera (which translates to great photos!) Their shooting style captures all the candid moments and their editing style brings out the bold, rich colors. We absolutely had zero regrets about selecting Native Heart Photography as our wedding photographers! The cherry on top was that they sent us a "sneak preview" of a whopping 80-something photos mere days after our wedding! I spent a good chunk of time on our Hawaii honeymoon scrolling through all the photos, noticing details that didn't catch my eye on the wedding day and reliving all the memories. I found Cherise through a friend of hers and used her for our newborn shoot....she is beyond the sweetest and most patient woman ever!! Her talent with the newborns is unreal.... She came to our home for the shoot and she even brought and provided lots of blankets and props...everything was seamless from start to finish. There are not enough words to describe how happy I am that we found Cherise and Bryan (from Native Heart) to photograph our wedding! We met with them months before, and we immediately knew they were perfect for us. We got a package with them that included engagement photos, and the pricing was extremely reasonable for SoCal. I knew that their style was the perfect vibe for us, and I loved having both of them capture moments separately and together. As a bride who has been in MANY weddings before, I knew how important it was to have two photographers to capture moments and work off each other. I also knew the importance of having photographers that make you feel comfortable!! Cherise is so amazingly sweet, and she made us feel comfortable all day. And Bryan was always there to make us laugh and give us good direction. We're not an extremely photogenic couple, but our photos are magazine worthy all thanks to them! They also worked so well with our videographer--it was seamless. They captured so many wonderful moments throughout the day, and I just love reliving them over and over. The attention to detail is uncanny in every photo. The editing is absolutely superb! I can't even fathom how good the lighting is in every photo. My wife and I are so stoked on our wedding photos and photographers! Cherise + Bryan from Native Heart Photography were simply amazing to work with. They captured the best moments from our wedding day and captured our personalities through the style and shots we loved. Not only do they kill it on the wedding day, but they include an engagement session for each couple they work with! So we have amazing engagement AND wedding photos. Between the engagement and wedding shoots, they make you feel comfortable in front of the camera and know how to get the shots you'll love. Some standout moments on the wedding day for us were: During the family and bridal party portraits they were very efficient and had great command navigating family members to get all the shots we wanted/needed - that was something we really were impressed by and appreciated. They made family portraits so easy. Not only are they professional, but they are fun, hilarious, and have a blast with you too! We cracked up when Bryan started dancing (by the way, he can DANCE), every one LOVED it - it definitely was an unexpected highlight from the night! It was awesome. We were so happy with how well they integrated the business side of their service with the fun and personal side. Along with the videographers, the photographers are probably the people you talk to most throughout the course of your wedding day, so I cannot recommend enough how important that balance is and how great Native Heart was to work with in that area. Lastly, the photos themselves are amazing. They captured fantastic shots from the day, with a perfect mix of the classic, must-have shots and creative portrait shots of my wife and I. They knew how to work well with lighting and what compositions would look best too. The photos were delivered in very cute packaging on a cool wooden flash drive and included a ton of photos! Cherise and Bryan are the best wedding photographers you can get. Here is why: 1. They take incredible photos. We have gotten tons of compliments that our photos look like they are out of a magazine (we are probably going to apply to some). I am an artist so I was very picky about the style of our photographs but they blew me away. All the photos are bright and beautiful without being over stylized. We were also a little weary about any wedding photographer because we are not posy-fake models. We like candid, fun shots without looking like different people. They went above and beyond making us feel comfortable and getting the best moments without them being contrived. 2. Their personalities will make your day even more special. They know when to make you laugh, bring you a beer, or stand back and observe. 3. Their prices are incredibly fair. We worked out a plan and flew them out to Connecticut to shoot our wedding. Since we were not on the same coast and could not do an engagement session, they shot our rehearsal dinner which was a huge bonus. 4. They get it. Cherise and Bryan are married so they understand the amazing parts and frustrations of your wedding day so they are easy going and help out a ton. 5. We pushed for wanting a lot of candid dance shots and oh boy did they capture some gems. Bryan got down on the dance floor and really got some amazing shots of everyone. 6. I have been in and to a lot of weddings and I can without a doubt say Cherise and Bryan are the most fun, easy going, professional, efficient, best photographers I have ever come in contact with. Just finished our lifestyle session and it was such a great experience! With a four year old, almost two year old and a five month old it could have been a disaster. Cherise came and made it such an enjoyable experience and our boys had a blast! She captured some amazing photos of the kids in their element doing what they do!
