JP and his wife Penny were professional, efficient, friendly, and most importantly, produced some of the most beautiful wedding photos I have ever seen. We did not get to work with Penny during our wedding, but she was just as wonderful "behind the scenes" as her husband JP was up front. Both were a JOY to work with! Their work is incredible, and I love my wedding photos almost as much as I love my husband ;) But in all seriousness, getting to work with SSP was a dream for us. We found them through friends, and we had our fingers crossed that they had our date open, and might consider working within our budget. We had a smaller wedding so we didn't need a large photography package- just some photos of us and our family beforehand, and photos during and after the ceremony. We arranged to meet with JP before our wedding to make sure we were a good "fit" for each other, and discuss our budget. As we laughed over beers and snacks while watching his adorable son play on the jungle gym, we knew it was meant to be! We also learned more about SSP's work, and were blown away by the wide array of experience and talent. Shutter Styles is an all-star vendor; from our first meeting to the actual event, they were wonderful, fun, and professional. Any text or email was responded to within minutes, and any worries I had were soothed by their years of experience and calming responses to me. Our wedding day was so special to us, and we love and appreciate that JP treated it the same way. He made us laugh when we had no idea what to do during our first look, he corralled our huge family for family photos, he kept us on schedule, and he even gave us a ride to our reception after our post ceremony photos! Most importantly, he treated us like friends, and made sure we had fun and got what we wanted out of our photos. There is nothing more priceless than that. On a sidenote- we had planned our wedding to coincide with a beautiful winter sunset. The day of our wedding (right before the first look) thick, marine fog started rolling in. I mean, rolling fast. As I was walking up to our "first look" and seeing the fog grow thicker, I couldn't help but feel a little down. How can wedding photos in fog be any good? WHERE WAS MY SUNSET?!?!
