I am so happy we found The Cat Concierge for our cat sitting needs. Anne is very sweet, detail…read moreoriented, and well organized, which we value highly. She is also an effective communicator, giving us exactly what we needed to know and what we could expect. One huge advantage with The Cat Concierge is that Anne only cares for cats, so she understands the intricacies of cat needs. We used general pet sitting services before which consisted mostly of dog walking and dog care, but I prefer cat-only services way more and would never go back to general pet sitting services. When different care providers come each time, things can get messy and disorganized, especially when caring for cats who are habitual animals. Anne works alone and is the one who would come each time. She got to know our cats quickly and our cats adapted to her quickly which is a huge plus. Just one thing, make sure you have a backup person in case of emergencies. Our initial conversation with Anne was very pleasant and Anne was upfront about what she does and does not do. We also scheduled a meet-and-greet, during which we went over the paperwork, the contract, and more importantly, she met our kitties. She was accommodating and very easy to work with. We really appreciated her honesty and transparency, that helped build trust and rapport. During each visit, she sent us super cute text messages with tons of pictures. Our shy cat actually warmed up to her in just a couple of days! She also followed our instructions thoroughly and we were able to truly rest and relax during our vacation. We would definitely work with Anne again for our future vacations! She is officially Auntie Anne now and we couldn't be happier with our experience. :)

She is highly reliable and can be counted on to provide the medications and supplements our kitties need. We especially love how she send us pictures and keeps us informed of their status. Tl;dr: Do not use this company if you have a pet with medical issues that needs medication. Hit or…read moremiss with individual sitters and you have no choice or control over who they send over. I will never use them again after my TERRIBLE experience. Initially used this service for a short business trip with success so tried again for a longer trip to see family between Christmas and NYE. The company sent a sitter I had never met who incorrectly used the pill injector on my sick, elderly cat and forced her to swallow the over inch-long applicator tip. Resulted in $3,000 emergency vet surgery to remove that I had to manage from out of town. So deeply stressful for me but mainly my poor elderly asthmatic cat!! They handled it but SO unnecessary and only happened bc of their bizarre business model where they pick whichever of their employees are available, not someone who knows your house/pet. So if you get one who knows what they're doing you don't necessarily get them again - it's totally random from the customer's perspective. Instead of enjoying my family I had to spend the time managing the emergency they created from afar, stressed and fuming that I trusted this company to send someone competent to care for my sweet older cat. After the first disastrous pill delivery issue they sent the **same person** again a day later who clearly doesn't know how to give a cat medication and she, again, incorrectly gave my cat her medication!!! My cat gets ill if she misses just one day, the medication is a high-dose steroid for her asthma. The employee did not know how to give her the pill, but still marked the medication as administered on their form (I only figured out it didn't happen when I read the notes) and instead of giving her the pill rubbed it on her gums -?!? I am FURIOUS for my poor cat and at the incompetence of this employee they continue to use, along with the management that assured me they know how to give cats medication and yet still sent this individual out after it was proved that they cannot give a cat medication effectively. The other employees seemed to be ok but I had no choice over who they sent over, meaning every visit was a gamble. If you need anything beyond the most basic service, avoid avoid avoid!!!

This review update is loooong overdue. We've been customers of Sitters4Paws for over 6 years now…read moreand they're just fantastic!! The sitters care for our fur babies so lovingly - we always travel with such peace of mind knowing our boys are looked after so well. They have an app now which makes communication even easier - they send emails/messages and many photos with every visit. The sitters follow any instructions very well - we used to have an elderly cat that needed medications and they took care of it no problems! Making reservations for visits in their app is so easy and they approve them very quickly or reach out if there are any issues or questions. They get very busy around major holidays but always make sure to give us a heads up before things get full - above and beyond! On our first visit, a manager came out to the house and met our pets and set us up with a very solid lock box for the house key that the sitters use to enter and exit. They check the mail and will water plants if needed too. They always give our boys so much love and treats and make sure they get some play time in every visit. They fill their food bowls, top off the water fountain, scoop the litter, and even sweep up! Great service! Their prices have gone up quite a bit since we first signed up - but what hasn't nowadays? Lol - their prices are comparable to other sitting companies locally and it's worth it for the peace of mind we get - huge ty to all our sitters and to Sitters4Paws for all your love and care!

So this was my situation. My poor baby poodle Koji has been keeping our boxer Kiwi company outside…read morefor the last year. Kiwi has been really sick. Sadly, kiwi passed away and poor Koji needed some help. It was time to bring him back indoors! His hair was out of control! He was filthy, and needed major grooming. I mean MAJAHHH grooming. Check out the before and after pics... insane. You couldn't even see his eyes. I know bad fur mama. I searched for a local groomer and Sarah was the 1st to respond quickly! I got so lucky because someone had rescheduled and was able to bring Koji in immediately! Sarah is amazing. The minute Koji met her you can tell how passionate she is about her craft. She immediately connected with Koji, and gave me a brief consultation on how long it would take for the services. We left Koji with Sarah. Koji had a lot of work done! It took about 3 hours to make sure every area was given attention too. It's located by the West Covina mall -- so it wasn't a problem to kill some time. Koji got a full service groom ... which was teeth, nails, ears, sanitary shave, haircut/trim, skin check, bath, blueberry facial, and dry. He even came out with a cute bandana. We couldn't really style him because she had no choice but to shave his hair because it was so tangled. But You guys! OMG! He came out looking like a new dog and he smelled like a baby! . She did exceptional. I think there are very few groomers in this world who truly care about their clients and furry customers! Sarah is one of them -- she truly cares about you fur babies and will do whatever it takes to ensure the job is done with care. I highly recommend her for her grooming services! I saw she also offers a doggy day care. It's good to know I have someone I can trust to care for Koji when needed. I hardly give 5 stars unless I feel it's exceptional service--- and this groomer is!! I'll definitely be back! Thank you Sarah for your passion, your craft and attention to detail. Koji will definitely be back!

This update is a bit overdue (this happened last year in April of 2025), but it's been a very tough…read moretime. The first couple times we used Sitter4Paws we had a really great experience with the sitters that were assigned to our senior, diabetic cat. Last year, my mother unexpectedly passed away, and our regular cat sitter was unavailable for half of the trip home. We booked Sitter4Paws the second half of the trip, and let them know about the circumstances and requested sitters that had seen Jodie before so that we could rest easy during a very difficult time. Of course we know that can't always be accommodated due to scheduling, so for the first visit a new sitter came to see Jodie. On the evening of my mother's passing, we got a text from Sitter4Paws that the sitter felt he may have made a mistake with our cat's insulin dosage. It was revealed to us that instead of giving her her normal 2.25 unit dose, he gave her 22.5 units - ignoring the taped off/labeled syringes, our explicit written instructions in the app, and additional photos/diagrams of what a full syringe should look like. Thank god he realized his mistake, otherwise our cat would have slowly died alone in our apartment - and this would have happened immediately after losing my mom. I understand mistakes can happen, but the fact that a sitter was uncertain with potentially life-threatening medication if administered improperly and didn't even think to reach out to us first was quite shocking. Sitter4Paws took full responsibility, admitted their mistake, said they would take steps to make sure something like this would never happen again, and covered her 4 day ER stay, but it never should have gotten to that point. Again - we did have great sitters who took care of our cat wonderfully - but the uncertainty of who you can get especially with medication involved means that we can no longer recommend this service with confidence.
