I booked one night in the open tent field for two- my friend and myself. My total price was $28.04. It seemed a little steep for what it was but we figured it was worth it for access to showers, bathrooms, and water. Upon our arrival, we checked in with no issues, set up our tent, and then tried to get into the shower house to use the bathroom and shower off before the temperatures dropped for the evening. I was told by the woman manning the front desk that the shower code was in my email. Very foolishly, I trusted her. We were unable to access the showers or the bathrooms within the shower building- the bathrooms next to the shower building were boarded shut for the winter. We searched my email high and low, and there was no shower code- not in my inbox, not in my spam, not in any folders. After conferring, we decided to call the after-hours number. No one answered, so we left a message and headed to Miguel's Pizza for dinner. An hour passed, and we hadn't heard anything, so we called again- no response. We were never contacted about our message, and we checked out the next morning with no further contact regarding that issue. But before we left- we headed over to fill up our water bladder and water bottles before hitting the trail for a long hike. We were in the middle of doing so, when a woman in a white car came over and (very passive aggressively) asked us if we were checking in to that site. We responded that we were just filling up on water and would be leaving shortly. She harrumphed and drove off, but it was obvious that she wasn't pleased with us doing so. We finished filling up and left, agreeing to never stay there again. I'm afraid that Natural Bridge Campground has just permanently lost themselves two customers. read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE!! Was a wonderful cabin experience in the middle of nowhere! We were in town to visit SUP Kentucky for their clear kayak glow tour in the mines and were lucky to find this place since there aren't many hotels around. Really romantic experience, highly recommend! read more

Quiet campground. The bathrooms are bad but they said they are trying to fix them. Rv site 10 is the best.

My husband and daughter have been to this campground twice last year and I was finally able to come with them. I am glad I didn't read some of the reviews before coming as I might not have agreed. But after coming here I realized that the reviews and pictures are older and before an upgrade. I absolutely love this campsite. It was very family friendly. We have an elementary daughter and the area felt safe as there were many other families. No one was partying and it was very quiet at all hours. I slept in a tent as my daughter wanted to (we brought an RV so I didn't use the showers or bathrooms) and the sound of the fountain in the pond was so relaxing. My daughter caught 6 fish and had a blast. I would recommend this campsite for kids fishing as there are so many fish, they won't get bored. The late teens kid in the next campsite over caught 34 fish. It is so beautiful surrounded by trees that I think this has to be the most relaxing camping trip I've had in a while. read more

Make this your LAST RESORT. Bathrooms are tiny with the tiniest of cheapest sinks. Shower stalls are 3ft x 3ft and out of 4 (2 for men & two for women) ...only 2 were "working". Zero hot water even though my husband and I went in early evening and there were only 2 other campers in the resort. Water pressure in both working showers was only a bare minimum trickle. No privacy between sites...only 3 trees on the entire expanse of parking lawn. Picnic table are cheap plastic and most are badly damaged and likely dangerous (see photo. To top it all off the resident dogs barked all night and then woke us up again at 4am, 5 am and on and on. read more

I would give this place a zero at this time. Beautiful place, nice people running the place. Until you have to check out early because the place was not what they stated on the phone. DO NOT BRING A 40' COACH. THEY CANNOT ACCOMMODATE. The ground was saturated so we could not level it. The rock site pads are not packed so you sink into the ground. We only could tolerate one night. We were the only people there. Reserved for two nights. No service so I didn't check my email until we left the area at which time I saw they charged for 3. We've emailed and no response. Campground is under new management and making lots of upgrades while keeping it laid back, family friendly and beautiful.

This is absolutely the worst campground I have ever stayed the night in. There's a sign upon entry that says quiet after 10 PM. This is far from what happened. College kids and drunks partying there all night until 3 o'clock in the morning and then dogs barking through the rest of the evening. The bathrooms are filthy. Their website boasts a stocked fish pond to fish in which is nothing more than a moss covered puddle. I would not recommend this place to anybody who wants to relax and enjoy the gorge . This is only for people who wish to party way into the hours of the evening and hear loud Harley Davidson's rumbling down the road all night long. Camp somewhere else if you want an enjoyable evening. The staff is friendly however they do not enforce their own rules and they are nowhere to be found most of the time. Me and my boyfriend spent a couple of nights here primitive camping. It was 25$ if anyone is wanting to know price wise. We had originally planned to stay at Koomer ridge, but it was completely booked up as it is first come first serve. Checked out some other places and they were all booked up as well. This was the only other place around so we pulled in hoping they would have a place for us. We picked us a little spot and went to go pay the owner. Super nice people! We only paid one night in advance because we weren't sure if we'd like it there. He gave us 5$ off the 25$ price listed so that was nice. Our campsite had a fire ring, a tree for shade and a picnic table. However, our picnic table was broken and we had to sneak another table from another site not being used. I took away a star for that. I noticed other sites were missing one or the other. Not all had shade for tents, not all had a fire ring and not all had a picnic table. It was a mix matched combination of those things. Some places had water and electric if you paid for it. They had firewood for sale by the wheel barrow. A pond in the middle you could fish at with small cabins surrounding the pond. They have a small shower house and a bathhouse that aren't really separated between men and women per say. I also took away a star for the bathhouse and shower house situation. They definitely are not the cleanest and could use a good updating. At almost any given time in the day there's wet grass all over the floor of the shower house and there's bugs and grass in the showers. They were pretty yucky. We just wore shower shoes and put a towel down to step on so bring extra for that. There is also live music from the time you wake up until like 12 at night. Sometimes they play music from the radio on a loudspeaker and sometimes there's random people there singing. You can hear it throughout the whole campground. The closer you are to the registration area the better you can hear it. We didn't mind the music at all, we thought it was quit entertaining. It may bother some that's looking for a more quite night and go to bed early. We ended up staying another night and the guy gave us the same discount. All in all it's a pretty laid back place. Just a bunch of good ole boys having a good time singing and such. Worth it to check out if you don't mind country music and a not so nice shower house. read more

We stayed here this past weekend and I was very pleased with this campground! The site was very well kept, we had a nice fire pit and grill to cook on. The staff was very helpful and friendly, we were able to purchase firewood on site. The bathroom and shower buildings were very nice for a campsite, each stall has a toilet, sink and hand dryer plus a closed door for privacy. We will definitely pick this site again when camping in the area in the future! read more
