This is the second time I came here. The first time I looked perfectly tan. Although it only lasted a few days it was worth it considering it was for a wedding. The place is very clean and the staff is very sweet. The tan looked very natural. What a great price! I think this place is affordable and trustworthy. The tan is natural, perhaps "too natural," i'd prefer a little darker. My second visit however, I was a little disappointed. I had a late apt so maybe they were not able to see the results from working all day. After I was sprayed I asked if it will get darker because I didn't feel tan enough. She said yes it will get darker over next 10 hours as it works into the skin. When I woke up I was disappointed to find that only my legs and arms look tan the rest of my body doesn't look very tan. My advice : if it's your first time let them work their magic and be the judge of "how tan you should look" but the second time around...if you don't look tan after looking in the mirror...go with your gut. read more

I absolutely love this place!! I have been coming here for spray tans for about a year. They require appointments which means you never have to wait and you can TEXT them to schedule an appointment which is soooo helpful. They have a full range of items you may need from face wipes, undies, hair ties etc. They are super good at what they do and fast. It takes less than 15 minutes for most appointments. They also are very accommodating about fitting you in for last minute appointments. I always ask for Tere and would recommend her to every!! This place was somewhat hard to find since the door doesn't seem like it's an entrance. Once inside, it's super comfortable & welcoming. They have a little beverage station along with some trial mix & m&m's. They took me in a few minutes earlier than my appointment & I got to take a disposable thong & hair tie. She took me into a room & allowed me to get changed. The lady made me feel super comfortable & explained everything as she went. The tan right away looked somewhat streaky, but I was told that's just the bronzer. After I took my shower it looked perfect!!! No streaks, not too orange & everything looked so natural. So i went on a spring break trip and all my friends had tans. Me on the other hand ran out of time so I went here and got an airbrush tan. I LOVED the color it made me. My boyfriend is a prude and didn't like it but he doesn't like fake blonds or fake nails, too much makeup or overdressed women so that shows you what his opinion amounted to. My friends first words was that i was so tan. Pro: i was tan in less than 12 hours, it took me less than 10 minutes, it was a very even tan, There was no damage to my skin. Cheaper than a tanning salon. $30 bucks. Cheap Con: my face seemed strange this dark so I will not do my face next time. i had to bear all to the expert who airbrushed me, it fades unevenly. My sandals wore it off of my feet first. i wasn't prepared for the sun because the tan was fake. Will I do it again? you bet your bottom dollar I will! read more

I have never gotten any type of fake tan and I'll admit, after reading some of the reviews on here I was a bit skeptical. I decided to try Natural Bronzing anyways and I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE all the staff and the end results!! When I go there I was greeted right away and they put me into a private room, gave me a bag of all the things I might need (thong, hair cap, flip flops, robe) and within minutes I was being sprayed. I asked for a natural and not too deep of a tan and that is exactly what I got. While I was drying off, the staff offered magazines, snacks and water. I did notice that I set my thong too far up my waist and also under my butt cheeks I didn't let it completely dry so I asked the staff to help me fix the marks and they quickly and beautifully blended the colors. This review is for the Xtreme lashe extensions.Sharon is absolutely amazing! I'm in love! I live in Daly City so I had been going to Artisan Eyelashes in San Francisco. Let me explain my issues. I have very fine and curly natural eyelashes that tend to crisscross so applying the Xtreme lash extensions on my natural lashes can be frustrating and extremely time consuming for the lash stylist. Since it takes extra time and Artisian Eyelashes are always extremely booked, I never end up satisfied with my Diva fills since they don't have more than the typical time I need. One thing I noticed with Sharon was that she was extremely meticulous and patient. She was also very easy to talk to. I've decided to stop going to Artisan Eyelashes and start going to Sharon instead at Natural Bronzing and it is definitely costs a lot less. She did my lashes exactly the way I wanted (which I love the full dramatic eyelash look) and I didn't feel as though she was rushing through it. Making an appointment was easy and she had excellent availability, I was able to make my appointment by email and confirm through text messaging. If you are considering Xtreme lash extensions, choose Sharon at Natural Bronzing! Parking is easy there and you won't be disappointed. I've been getting eye lash extensions for a long time .... And this place is really amazing! First of all, I absolutely love their glue. They use highly medically graded glues that are expensive . This is the only place where I can open my eyes right after the service. Also they use very light lashes with volume and length. It's very comfortable ... Not like other places here in the Bay Area... I've been to a place in downtown and a lot of my real lashes fell off and I was very depressed. This place put so much glue on to my skin that is not so ethical! I called this place and they first put very natural light lashes on me because I had breakages but now that my baby lashes grew they can do amazing job !! So glad I found this place! Maggie is awesome and owner is very classy :) I'll be definitely coming back! Also it's not over priced like other places and they do quality work !! read more

Can't say enough good things about this business! I've been using them for years and have always had perfect hand-sprays with them (before weddings, vacations, etc). Recently, after I made an appointment for a pre-vacation hand-spray, they messaged me a couple weeks beforehand and apologized that they could not do a hand-spray the day I had set, but would be able to do a "booth spray". Well I hadn't had a booth spray in over a decade and I explained I felt quite terrified about it (I was imagining major streaking). They reassured me their booth sprays are not like other places, that they take great care of their machines, that they would walk me through the process, and that it would be perfect. I was still hesitant, but agreed, and I'm so glad I did. They were totally right! She walked me through the process, was so reassuring, and of course my tan came out perfectly. I have read the other reviews over and i must say i hate the fact that someone refered to this place as a hole in the wall. This is a FANTASTIC salon that i just happened to find out about through a friend. Yes the prices are unbeatable as well as the services are awesome. The tans are fantastic. EVERY TAN FADES!!!!!! I cant understand why people can possibly complain about that. The solution they use is VERY natural. I have never had such a natural looking "fake" tan, Personally, I have very fair skin and i burn easily and get freckles, on top of the fact that UV rays are cancerous, this is a wonderful solution to my and many other's whom cant naturally tan. Sharon (the owner) has made this a really nice little place, it is a nice intimate setting and you get 100% custom tan service every time. There is nothing about this place that i can say i havent liked thus far. I have been going for about 4 months now and if i want a suttle glow durring the winter or a deep tan in the summer she gets it perfect every time. as with all tans, yes it does fade. If you MOISTUREIZE you will NOT be splotchy. when and if you see splotches you exfoliate and re-tan! You are in control for the most part how it fades (ie if you exfoliate before, you have ANY moistureizer before on your skin, perfume, deotorant etc) I love this place and having a nice tan all year round with no chance of any harm to my skin. They use a sugar based solution that is 100% natural and safe. Hopefully this has helped some of you with any question about your visit. you should call them with any questions that you have for your pre appointment prep. i recomend exfoliate, and shave your skin well and dont apply anything to the skin ANYWHERE before the appt. I went here 3 days before my 30th birthday party, thinking that my dress would look so much better if I had the sunkissed look instead of the pasty color I usually sport. I've never done the professional spray tan before but seeing all the good reviews I thought what the heck go for it!! The young lady doing my spray tan was very sweet and made me feel comfortable, since I was butt naked in front of her, she put me at ease. The first hour I felt sticky and scared to sit on my brown sofa. After a few hours I slept, I went to bed liking the color I had.. As I woke up to get ready I passed by my mirror and scared myself. I looked neon orange worst than a oopma loompa! My color was uneven all around. I had blotches and streaks and I smelled really bad!! I had a spray tan bottle st.tropez and I used that to try to even it out because after the 2nd day it looked like my skin was dripping from all the streaks. It was a great thing that my party was at night and in the dark where noone noticed my streaks and blotches. I couldn't wait to get the tan off of me and I hated it in the days following because I looked like I had a skin disease. So will I go back there uhhh heck no. Being a brown girl in Daly City is tough, enter Natural Bronzing! No really, it was hard for me to literally enter (that's what he said!). This place was tough to find. The front entrance felt like it should be the back entrance. Once you got there, it's pretty small inside. It almost felt like a doctor's office, especially because the gal at the front desk was wearing scrubs or something scrub like. She was very friendly. I was just about right on time for my appointment so they took me back as soon as I checked in. As far as the spray tan went, the technician was very thorough. I almost felt like she sprayed me with too many coats but by the time I got home and checked myself out, I liked what I saw! I was the brown goddess of my 20s but just 30 pounds heavier. The only bummer was that the color didn't stay on as long as I had hoped. Started fading after 5 days and yes I followed the instructions and avoided exfoliation and Dove soap. I started to look muddled, luckily by that time, I was already home from Vegas. read more

I LOVE this place! I will never ever ever use a tan in a bottle or booth tan again. They provide a fantastic tan for a very reasonable price ($35 full body) - particularly compared to other businesses who charge at least $50. Their staff is professional and very competent. I have never felt awkward just standing their naked either which is important to note. There was one time where I had to ask for a bit more spray here and there but she was more than willing to fix what I wasn't satisfied with. My tan usually last strong for about 5 days and is almost completely faded within 9. The location is a bit inconspicuous - small and hidden - but a good tan is a good tan regardless of where the building is. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to get a great tan and plan on being a customer for a long time to come. read more

Okay, I'll admit it.....I love the way I look when I am tan. Unfortunately, my days of leisure (high school summers, college years) are long past me and I haven't had the time to attain a tan the "old-fashioned way" in years. Given the fact that I had a wedding to attend over Memorial Day weekend, which required me to wear a skirt, I had to find some way to get some color on my pasty white skin. I've used the self-tanning lotions before, but they have always turned out more orange than brown / bronze. I also tried a tanning bed once, but got a pretty nasty burn from that. This led me to the discovery of spray tanning. After researching the difference between spray tans (the ones in the booths) and airbrush tans, I decided to go the way of the airbrush. I then had to decide which salon to visit. I live in SF, but work in San Mateo and in the end I chose to go with City Bronzing due to their pricing and convenient location (this was when they were still in Foster City). Most of the salons in SF appear to charge $45 per session, while City Bronzing only charged $25. Let me tell you this was the best $25 I've spent in a long time. I scheduled an appt. for after work on a Wednesday evening. I only had to call 2 days in advance to get the appt. I arrived and within minutes I was in a private "room" (it was really an area sectioned off by curtains, but it was private enough for me). The process was explained to me and I was offered disposable panties, which I declined since I had brought my own swimsuit. I think you can go totally naked if you want, but my size 16 body just wasn't up for that. After a little bit of prep (lotion on nails to prevent them from getting colored), I donned my shower cap and assumed the position to get sprayed. My technician, Jasmine, was very nice and it was easy to follow her directions. I just had to rotate my arms and turn around a few times while she sprayed me and I was done within 10 minutes. I then had to dry in front of a fan for another 5 minutes and then I was free to go. All in all, I think I only spent a total of 25 to 30 minutes in the salon. I spoke a bit with the owner right before leaving, and everyone there seems very nice. They were very eager to move to their Burlingame location where I am sure they will get much more business. Now for the tan..... It looked great for the first 4 days. I looked as though I had spent a good 3 days in a row in the sun. All my friends commented on how natural it looked (and how white I had looked prior to getting it). Unfortunately, as day 5 rolled around, the tan started to fade and the inner part of my arms started to look as though someone had actually spray painted me...... I had tiny dots of the tan color up and down both arms (inner arms...the part of the arm that is closest the trunk of your body). It was a bit strange, but honestly I did not care much because I had returned to SF from the wedding in Napa and I had already started wearing all my "winter" clothes again. I'll probably never do this again, unless it is for another special event. Like I said previously, I definitely felt like it was $25 well spent, but I can't see myself getting a fake tan on a regular basis. read more

I was very pleased with my experience at Natural Bronzing. The place is very clean, modern and well-maintained which offered a relaxing environment. The girl who assisted me in my full-body spray tan was friendly and courteous. In the past I have been a customer of Brown Sugar on Union St in SF. But Natural Bronzing was a far better experience overall. The place is organized and spacious and they even offer plenty of refreshments and magazines while you wait for your spray tan to dry before putting on your clothes. For any first timer, I would definitely recommend coming here! Oh, and the pricing is VERY reasonable compared to Brown Sugar!....Will definitely come back for another spray tan before my next Cabo trip! read more

Obviously her comments in rebuttal are claiming in their defense that they did call me back in evenings, which is completely UNTRUE. In fact I know I had to call back several times to make those 12 appointments she claims I had. Having those appointments booked have nothing to do with the other appointments I was not able to book. Also, someone I spoke to, not sure if it was her or an employee, apologized for their phone service not being up to par, and needing to call the phone company to amend that problem. As for my Ritz Carlton coordinator calling and asking for insurance and then not scheduling, I can't vouch for who is telling the truth here, but I know I asked WAY in advance for those services, and Natural Bronzing did not follow through in good business form as they should. read more

This review is for Sharon. Prior to seeing her I was researching other las extension places but this place sold me the most after reading reviews for Sharon so I decided to try her out. She did my lash extensions prior to a vacation I was going on. I was a little skeptical about having lash extensions and going swimming but they had assured me the glue they use would allow me to swim and continue my activities. Sharon's work exceeded my expectations. Not only was she very sweet, and fun to talk to, she made sure before I left the room that my lashes were exactly how I wanted them. I literally went swimming, jet-skiing, & zip-lining thinking my lashes would fall out but low and behold they held on for dear life so I can tell you everything what she uses is quality. It's been about 3 weeks now and my lashes are still on! A few have fallen off but she mentioned thats normal as they fall off with our real lashes. Natural bronzing is seriously one of the best tanning salons in the Bay Area hands down!! I have been going here for years however have tried some other places around town to see how I would like there tan. Nothing compares to natural bronzing! A lot of other tanning salons solution is way to strong for me not to mention smells horrible! But for someone like me who has very sensitive skin I have never had a problem with the solution at natural bronzing my skin feels soft and the tan looks amazing!! At other places it has made me break out or my skin get really irritated also never lasted as long. The Natural bronzing tan looks like you just got back from Hawaii and also doesn't have a bad smell or come off on clothing. Before coming here, I've never gotten a spray tan before so I didn't really know what to expect. My legs are soooo white, and I've always hated how pale my legs are compared to the rest of my body! I finally decided to give spray tanning a try and decided on natural bronzing. Making an appointment was easy peazy. If you're anything like me, you forget to text people back all the time. I texted them for an appointment, and they were so nice and quick to respond, but I didn't get the chance to respond until the next day. They scheduled me for a same day appointment and I went straight there after work! It was a little hard to find it -- it's in the back of the building and is pretty small. I went in, told them about my appointment, and they took me in right away! They provide everything you need there so you don't have to bring anything. They also tell you exactly what to do before and after getting your tan. The lady who sprayed me was so nice and friendly. I was so insecure about my body, but she made me feel comfortable and wasn't judgmental at all. If ever I need another spray tan, I will definitely come back here! This was the first time I ever did spray tanning. I didn't know what to expect. I'm fair complected & a red head, so my skin burns easy. I hate tanning beds so I thought I would try this. The place is small but I got a complimentary spray because their was a new girl doing the spray tanning & it was my first visit here. I felt very comfortable & they offer disposable bras & panties. I think the next time I will go with just the panties because the bra didn't quite fit by boobs. I'm very happy with how the tan turned out. It's not too dark, just a nice natural looking tan.
