You can tell she is happy on her job. My neck, shoulders, and feet from wearing heels everyday, are always an issue. I get massages often from anywhere from spas to pop in reflexology spots. I still have not found a place in Atlanta where I'm satisfied. This location came close. I have been to hand and stone years ago when they first opened in Decatur. I liked that a lot of the therapists were African American men and women at the time and the service was not bad. My problem with hand and stone is their service is too short for the price. Everyone has a 60min service, standard, theirs is 50min and you definitely miss the 10mins. Stonecrest is my side of town so I decided to try them out because they kept emailing me. Christine Barton did my service. She did a good job but again even though I was on time and we stated right away, it felt rushed. I didn't feel better later in the week which bothered me. Most good massages you should at least get a few days relief. I'll try them again and do the 90mins because any less at hand and stone you might as well not go. That was fine as I did not mind waiting because I know appointments sometimes tend to run longer than intended. The lady from the back came, barely acknowledged me and was speaking to the guy in the front. She took me to one of the rooms for my massage and asked once more if I wanted a 50 minutes massage which would be a man or a 60 minute massage which would be a lady. I told them I don't mind who ever services me as long as it is 60 minutes but I would prefer a female. She said okay and just left me in the room with the door closed. No instructions were given on what I needed to do next and I was waiting in that room for more than 30 minutes....no one came to check up on me, tell me how long I had to wait, there was a langue barrier as I am not sure they both understood what I was saying behave I for sure could not understand what they were telling me for the most part.
