I always find new snacks to try, natural soaps and cleaning products, and I can always count on them to have our holiday Tofurky:) The prices are a little higher than I like to pay for groceries, but no other store in town carries a lot of the foods and I like supporting a locally run business. They have a customer card that you can use and after you buy a certain amount you get coupons for discounts on future purchases. I won't be doing all my shopping at JC Health, but for several items that are not available anywhere else, it's convenient and very cool to have our own health food store:)

Then they explained to me that I will need to bring all the items back, obtain a refund and then have it recharged. Well, the items have been consumed, not going to happen. I let the person know that was ridiculous. So they proceeded to credit back the tax that should not have been on the receipt in the first place all with zero friendliness on the part of Gerbes staff.
