I came in today around 2pm to purchase some VetCBD for my elderly sick cat (you were the only dispensary close enough to Paso that had this in stock). Can I just say from the moment I entered the security guard greeted me with a smile, and kindness. Upon entry to the dispensary all the staff was kind and said hello. I wish I got the gentleman's name that helped me both on the phone and in person, but he was great, and very knowledgeable. I just wanted to take the time to say thank you. Stopped here on my roadtrip up the coast today. I appreciated the clean atmosphere but the service ruined my expiernce. The selection was decent, with your standard popular brands like cbx, raw gardens and jeeters. There "discounts" are misleading. They advertise 40-50% off but that's only after your purchase two items. I am someone who is very friendly and educated in the weed industry and enjoy the expiernce of talking to the bud tenders, getting there recommendations and finding the best deals possible. The man who helped me was short, had brown hair and a stubby beard and he was extremely unfriendly. He went out of his way to help me which I was saddened by because upon helping me at the front desk I did not like his energy. He seemed annoyed at me asking for simple clarification of there deals and rushed me out the door. The value of there product is good, I ended up walking out of there happy with what I got for the price. This dispensary is clean and has a nice vibe but they should focus on training there employees with costumer service skills as it is on the beach and people go in there happy, ready to indulge in some Zaza and no one likes purchasing or getting service from someone who seems to dislike there job. read more

This is an addendum to my previous review. I just called to find out if they have resolved the "Out of Order" restroom situation. I was told that there are no longer public restrooms, and that there was no plans to repair/reopen the restroom anytime in the future. This confirms my earlier decision to no longer patronize this location. After a long drive (when you get to be of a certain age!) not having a restroom is a deal-killer. read more

I don't think I will continue shopping at this location. After being a loyal customer for as long as they've been open, I've become increasingly frustrated with the customer service. The last two times I visited this location, I felt as though I was supposed to just tell them exactly what I want, give them my money, and get out. When this location first opened the sales people were friendly and conversational, they would ask about our preferences and needs and give us information about what we should purchase. I always found new strains and brands to try. The process was fun (and usually resulted in me spending more money there than I had intended). This July Dorian was especially rude, asking me " what do you want?" I had a couple of questions, and wanted to know more about new strains, but he answered everything with one or two words. I got no information. Isn't the whole purpose of a sales person to inform you about the product that they have and sell you more things? Last week I asked about deals that were going on, and the salesman grumbled that he didn't really know and then went to the website and quickly flipped through the sales as if I was supposed to read them and understand which sale applied to what product. I had gone to the website prior to my visit, and just needed some clarification from the people who worked there. He was so short with us and seemed like he didn't want to even be there. Both of these last two visits was about five minutes long, and resulted in me purchasing less than I had intended. I go into the shops because I'm excited to learn about new products and learn from people who are in the industry. If I already know what I want, I use a delivery service. Additionally, I purchased two Allswell pre-roll packs (a hybrid and an Indica) and only after taking them out of the zip bags, realized that the boxes are identical and don't have product information. So, I have two blue boxes of pre-rolls and have a 50-50 chance of knowing what's in each one. Kind of defeats the purpose of purchasing different strains, if you don't know what's in the box. I'm just frustrated. I was really excited when they opened this location and it's a really nice shop. It's just no longer a friendly or informational experience. I now always leave feeling frustrated. read more

Nikki was Very knowledgeable about inquiry into a persons need for pain relief options! The Security Guard who checks ID was very nice! He told me where to go past the security doors, to find what I was looking for. Back to Nikki, I would definitely ask for her again! I haven't used the product that I bought, however I am suffering from Cottonwood Season here, in Mid May. During this big bloom, where male pollen and female fluff, are everywhere and winds blow it around. I tend to have severe allergy issues that affect my sinus and get bad headaches as well as sneezes and ear or hearing itches. I have allergies to aspirin, acetaminophen, ibuprofen and more. Waited 15 minutes for their ONE budtender. She was not following their queue system and got the numbers mixed up. When I told her so, and told her I'd been waiting 15 minutes she replied "so was the other person" and started being mean when I tried to tell her she had already helped the person waiting ahead of me. So I left and will not be back and I spend HUNDREDS every time I'm here. And I assume a manager or owner was standing there the whole time while it took 15 minutes for three customers to be helped. And never bothered to try to help the budtender. Will definitely not return. read more

However, NHC, isn't one of those places, NHC is a place where it's relaxing and the employees are very accommodating and welcoming. I've had some good experiences at nhc and some horrible ones. The guy who waited on us last Saturday was extremely rude. He was mad that it was a quarter to nine when we came in. How do I know the time? Cause he told me. Everything my husband said to get the right product, he said, "that's not helpful" we said that it was what we'd purchased before. He looked up my name and got mad at me cause their system was updated and my purchase was not there. His name is Darian. We'll be spending our $$ at Perfect Union from now on. I was having terrible neck pain and went to get some gummy's for it The girl that helped me was very helpful and very sweet. She recommended a Transdermal compound and some Tart cherry fast acting gummy's. I took one gummy almost immediately and put the transdermal compound shortly after 3 hours later I was feeling nothing no pain relief no relaxation just nothing I have tried 2 gummy's and still putting the transdermal compound on with little pain relief I've got more relief smoking my swag weed I feel like I spent $60 on bees wax and gummy's. Normally I purchase from the NHC located in Lemoore where my parents live, so I was super excited to see they had shops in San Luis Obispo and Morro Bay! I chose to visit the facility in Morro Bay and they did not disappoint! The staff was super friendly and very helpful. The young man that helped me the first time was able to answer all of my questions, and did not try to upsell me. I just dropped in again today for a second visit, and enjoyed the same experience as the first time. They have a large selection of edibles, along with everything else under the sun. All of the customers in the store were being helped, and looked like they were also having a great experience as well. WOW! What a professional place! Administration was friendly and the first time customer process was a breeze! 15% off first time customer deal!! (Beautiful succulent walls in the lobby as well!) Once inside we noticed it was very clean, displays were tidy and put together well. Anything you need? They got it. From extracts to edibles to a variety of flower of all price ranges - highly impressed. Our budtender (I believe his name was Baxter) was friendly and knowledgeable to our questions. This used to be my go to dispensary, but sadly the quality of pre-rolls and flower have deteriorated. I'm not sure if it's because the owner was found guilty of felonies and had to sell and the new owners are incompetent or if it's just the new normal. Either way, $70 for premium flower should be good quality, but it's garbage. Staff are overly friendly, so if you like that super fake interaction then you'll be pleased. Otherwise, be prepared for them to ramble on about stupid details. Tip for the manager: Get quality product and it will sell itself. And get rid of the tip jars and pay your staff a good wage that doesn't depend on tips. NHC generates somewhere in the range of $20 million in annual sales, according to court documents. Stop expecting customers to pay a tip on top of exaggerated prices. Lastly, I have no intention of returning read more
