Driving to Franklin for my appointments was making for some mighty long days, and Saturdays are coveted and sometimes unpredictable. So I knew I wanted to find someone in the Boro if nothing else. I learned about Studio L through a friend of mine...but we weren't friends yet. In fact, it was the first time I had ever met her and instead of saying the usual "Hi." or "Nice to meet you..." I just excitedly exclaimed, "Oh. My. GOSH! I love your hair!", then asked, "Where do you go?" Who knew almost a year later I'd need a new stylist? Bam. When I called Leanne (owner of Studio L), we discussed all the details about my "move", my hair, and set up an appointment for the following month. I learned that while it's not posted, she does have rather flexible hours. So when I said I'd prefer weeknight evening appointments over Saturdays, she said she is happy to work with me on scheduling. The studio is in a beautiful space just off of the Sqaure. There are two street parking spots directly in front of the salon with more street parking nearby. I maintain my hair color through root touch-ups about every 4-5 weeks. Since Salon L is a Paul Mitchell salon, and previous color applications were from Davines, I wasn't sure how it'd go with color matching. I'm happy to report it appears to be flawless thus far. Leanne finished my first appointment by styling my hair with a curling wand manufactured by Paul Mitchell. It gave my strands a nice beach wave. She even took the time to give me some instruction on how to use any wand to create the look, then allowed me to try it myself with her there to instruct/assist as needed. It was very helpful and much appreciated. (I'm a tomboy at heart, so I'm a little late to the hair and makeup party in a woman's life.) I feel as though the service and the pricing I received today were fair, and I look forward to going back for my next appointment.

Honesty is the first thing in developing a relationship and this salon is not honest. I asked if my…read morestylist was certified in the Luna method and I was told yes. After spending copious amounts of money on hair that I don't even believe now was Covet and Mane and lots of damage to my head and lots of pain I called Luna and found out no one there is actually certified in the Luna method. Sure they have taken some classes but never completed the certification. When I called Angela out on it she just blocked me on social media. No return on all the money I spent was offered at all!!! If you care about ethics, integrity and honesty at all do not go here. Too many other great extension artist like Melted Salon in Franklin. Do yourself a favor and go there. They are pricey but honest!!! See Angela's comment below for proof of what another customer has said she gas lights you. I have the proof that she knows this happened at her salon but she thinks if she writes that she can evade responsibility. I will most certainly not take down my review and I am 100% sure that this work happened in the salon she owns and she has been fully made aware of it since it occurred in 2021. She herself has hosted the Luna professionals in her salon but no one in her salon is certified in the Luna method and she was claiming they were. I will attach a screenshot of our Instagram communication where she says her stylist in her salon that she owns is certified in Luna and where I sent her these pictures. She is evading ownership of what happens in the salon that she owns that is why she does not have a page for reviews for her salon, Copper and June Parlour. She wants to brag about how she is a salon owner and hair mogul but doesn't want to take responsibility for the work done in her salon. Beware. Call the businesses she says she is certified with and make sure she is. That is what I did and found out she was lying. Nice try Angela - I will not be bullied by you to take down my review!!!
