Needed a trellis/support structure built to prop up a large mature star jasmine shrub that serves as a living privacy fence between my house and next door neighbor's driveway...Misael was one of just a few landscapers (out of dozens I contacted) to respond to my request for a quote and his was the most reasonable by far. While the finished product is not what we had initially discussed (or that aesthetically pleasing, if I'm being honest) it will more than do the main job we needed it for and will last for decades. Last February I had decided i wanted to put in a drought resistent front yard and looked for potential vendors. I found Natural Landscaping through google and asked them to come out for a quote. Missael, the owner came out and provided me a quote that was lower than the other vendor I spoke to. That should have been my first hint this was a bad idea. I always believe you get what you pay for and that was certainly the case here. It was cheaper because they did a terrible job. I had them remove several large plants, but they didn't take out the stump so now those are growing through the weed barrier. I asked them to get the most expensive weed barrier so maintenance would be low, they didn't and I had weeds growing through it within 2 months. I wanted rock all around, which they did, but they didnt take out enough soil so I'm constantly losing rocks since they are above the barrier to the street. They got most of the work done in two weeks and then the last little bit they dragged out unnecessarily because it ended up taking 2 hours to finish, they could have taken time out of another day to finish along with the other job they kept blaming the delay on. I asked Missael to come out a couple times to discuss next steps and my expectations since things were dragging and he showed up late and disheveled after I called him so he obviously just woke up and raced over. Very unprofessional. He was never on the job and his workers did not speak English well, so it made communicating what I wanted hard. I had to push them to put adjustable drip ends on so that some plants could get more water if they needed and that was after arguing with him for a while. It was clear he was trying to cut corner as much as possible. I wish I had gone with the other vendor because now I have to save up to get the work done again to fix all the things they messed up. They may be fine for regular maintenance and landscaping work, but not for a big project lIke this. read more

They are prompt, reliable and responds to calls quickly. Other yard and landscaping services are apparently too busy to call you back. We especially like that they pull weeds by hand instead of using weed killer sprays. We have enough pesticides to contend with in the Valley. We called to get a quote on redoing two large planter box areas in front of our house right before Thanksgiving and were so please that they said they could get it done before the holiday. They removed the heavy cement blocks that edged the large areas as well as a substantial amount of dirt to level the areas before repairing and updating the existing sprinklers. Added weed cloth, new plants and rock to finish the areas. It looks great and we are super happy with the result! We hired Natural landscaping to do a yard clear and switch to stone with some plants. Excellent finished product. We could tell the group takes great pride in their work and definitely pays a lot of attention to detail. They were really thorough with cleaning at the end too which we were really thankful for. Very happy with the work! We did have a hard time with communicating with them through text (had to ask questions multiple times) and timelines were not always very clear. There were also a couple last minute changes (like a change in stone provider; we were asked to drive over to pay ASAP since the provider didn't have pay over phone). The communication could be frustrating at times, but overall I would recommend them for their finished work as it looks amazing. read more

They were able to get sprinkler system repaired, the yard tilled, leveled, put down a layer of soil, and put sod on within a day and it looks great. Natural Landscaping is better than Great! Misa visited my property and we chatted about some ideas for repairing or replacing a gate, and re-doing the back/side yard, and the front yard. I opted to have the back/side yard reworked immediately. Misa and his crew, Gil and Victor, were out the very next day after my decision, and quickly set to work following the plan. I was amazed to see that rather than replacing my gate (an expensive proposition no matter which company I consulted), they were able to replace one post and one board and I had a smoothly working gate by the end of the day. And the back and side yards were re-landscaped: weeds pulled (not chemically, but the old fashioned way), pre-emergent added to soil, very heavy fabric/plastic weed barrier placed down, and both pea gravel and cobblestones added around my existing planting along the entire length of the fence (including along the fence adjacent to the driveway in front), providing a very pleasing appearance and, I feel sure, the end to the weed epidemic (as well as an end, I hope, to the feral-cat-using-yard-as-litter-box epidemic). The crew went above and beyond by weeding-whacking the cracks in the driveway and edging the "weed patch" that passes for grass in front! Thank you. And they accomplished this all in one day. The men were great workers, friendly, and responded to my myriad questions with a very good attitude. My property looks so pretty now, and I found the price reasonable. I truly do look forward to working with Misa and his crew when I am able to tackle the front yard. read more

I received a quick response for estimate on new landscaping. Owner and wife were professional. A date was scheduled, but the owners did not show up or call me. I contacted them and was informed that there was a delay due to tractor in shop. We rescheduled to start the work. I have yet to hear from them as they didn't show, call or text me.
