I had been looking into getting my brows microbladed for years, but I was SO nervous about a semi-permanent procedure going wrong. I am blonde and I feared I would end up looking like Groucho Marx. Thank God I found Eva! I first need to say that her salon is VERY clean and she is so careful about following COVID guidelines. She is in a room all her own with no other clients there. I live with an immunocompromised person, so this is very important to me. I don't write a lot of reviews, but I felt I HAD to. Eva is truly an artist. She studies your face and knows what the most attractive size and shape is to match your features. She encourages you to show her pictures of the end result you are looking for and works with you to get the perfect result. I had very sparse eyebrows due to a thyroid condition. I ended up spending 15+ minutes every morning "creating" eyebrows that often were crooked or didn't match each other. Sometimes I would have to start all over again. This is the BEST gift I ever gave myself. I get up in the morning looking like ME. I have to say that I also look younger. I was drawing in my eyebrows too low (just because I was using the line of the few hairs that I had left) and now my eyes look more wide open. Eva takes her time and this procedure is done over TWO appointments which is so important. The first appointment is 4 hours but it doesn't feel like it...even with a mask on. She talks about your wishes and then draws in the shape and size first to get just the right combination. She shows you what she is planning to get your approval. She then talks to you about color. That's when the magic happens. It really didn't hurt. It feels strange at first because the area is numbed, but no pain. You won't believe how great your brows look when she is done! I'm including pictures so you can see for yourself. Keep in mind that this after picture is only after the first appointment. They look even better now. You would swear that these were real brow hairs. In the second appointment, she touches up any pigment that may not have taken the first time and she layers in more "hairs" over the first. I grew so used to completely drawing them on but I was well-aware that I was not great at it and I was drawing them way too big for my face. I have my first Microblading job with Eva and it was not what I was expecting, I have very little hair in my eyebrows and no shape at all but in the pass I used to have very dark, full and beautiful eyebrows. In our first appointment I ask for my eyebrows to look thick and dark but she immediately said that she did not recommended because that look was for younger girls, for my age I should have thin eyebrows, I told her that my idea is not to use makeup and feel comfortable with my look but I agreed to try it. when I came back for the retouch I told her that that was not my style and I show her photos of my family to show her how thick I wanted my eyebrows base on my family natural look, she mention that she was scare to do it thick so she darken the color and put a little bit more thickness but I still wasn't happy and worst of all the look totally different from each other, at that point I just wanted to get out of there and yes I am so frustrated because when you look for help the person providing that help should be willing to listen to you and make you happy, I understand that she can give advise and opinions but you are the customer. I really upset and I do not recommend to do your Microblading with Eva unless you like very thin eyebrows. read more
