Marie ruined my eyebrows!!! I went to see her hoping she would help me achieve the beautiful and maintenance free eyebrows that Microblading gives you and trusted her because she had good reviews. I am so disappointed with how they turned out, one is higher and shorter than the other. Don't believe what she tells you about eyebrows being sisters instead of twins cause mine look adopted! Although her salon is clean and she practices the sterile technique I still would not recommend her nor would I come back for my touch up as I do not trust her to ever touch my eyebrows again. While she was doing the outline/drawing before the Microblading she insisted that the left should have a higher arch when it was clearly not going to match with the right which is my better eyebrow. I was bleeding a lot during the Microblading process and the blood was mixing with the pigment because she was making deeper incisions instead of light feathery strokes (they are not supposed to bleed that much) so my eyebrows came out very dark and swollen (I know this is to be expected but had she not tried to re-create my left eyebrow I wouldn't have bled that much). I almost cried after seeing them and I immediately gasped at how the left was much higher and thicker and shorter and she dismissed it saying they will eventually look even when healed. I didn't have the natural feathery strokes that most people have after the procedure or how theres hardly any bleeding when they wipe off the pigment to reveal the newly Microbladed eyebrows. She sent me on my way with after care instructions even though we both knew it turned out to be a disaster. I went home looking at videos of those who had a good experience and wished that mine had turned out just as nice. I healed very well with minimal scabbing but the end result still looked awful. I am now spending twice the amount of time to draw on them every morning and make them look even which is ridiculous-I got them done so I could avoid having to fix them. I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience and do not recommend her at all. I am debating whether I should go to an expert Microblading artist to fix them or just leave them alone and let them grow out as I do not want to waste more money to get my dream eyebrows. What a waste of $300!!! read more

I had my eyebrows waxed, shaped, and tinted here. I'm very skeptical when it comes to my eyebrows because places tend to rip skin off along with the waxing process. The office is tiny and clean, in a wonderful building with other salon services. Marie is out for the summer, but I had a wonderful esthetician named Madison taking her place and she talked to me as if we were old friends. Made me feel comfortable and did such a great job! You guys, my natural eyebrows suck. I have hair but the hair doesn't feel like going in a cute direction. And did I mention I suck at pencilling them in? They look fine to me in the mirror but seeing a picture of myself I end up with a Nike symbol and a rainbow. I went to Marie, having previous work done a few years back somewhere else. No hate to my previous microblader, I was just lazy and time left me. Anyways, Marie was super nice and really friendly. I don't know if she had an appt after me but even if she did I would've had no clue. We literally spent an hour just deciding on the perfect shape that I felt good about. Turns out I'm pickier than I thought. Marie never rushed me at all, was so open to anything I said, and we finally came up with a nice look. I chose hybrid eyebrows as my skin is a combo with more on the oily side, but I still wanted hair strokes. I am very pleased with how my brows turned out, attached is a before and day 0. I was very intrigued by the thought of having my eyebrows microbladed because with age my brows had thinned considerably and I wanted to be able to wake up and not have to fill in/color my own. Marie did a FABULOUS job and I highly recommend her because she REALLY knows what she is doing. She takes the time to explain how everything works, she talks to you about the brow shape you want and then carefully draws in your future look (she has this cool tool that shows measures so your brows are precise and even). Once you are happy with your future look, she gets to work. I think start to finish for the first appt. was 90 minutes. I was extremely pleased with the outcome - my brows look natural - she does a great job color matching too. My face has more definition with my new brows. I was excited to get my brows done by Marie. I paid 50$ deposit and had to go on the last minute trip. The cancellation policy states that I had to cancel appointment 48 hours prior to appointment, I sent email on Monday in the afternoon asking to reschedule my appointment for the later time on which I got a response that I'm not getting my deposit back! Like seriously? Just for sending email couple of hours later???? I was not planning to cancel just to reschedule due to last minute trip! I would say very poor way of running business!
