So wildly unprofessional. I went in for a lash lift and tint. I had previously had extensions so there were about five lingering pieces that needed to be removed. They told me I couldn't get a lash lift if I removed the remaining extensions and that I would have to come back in two days. I said I would let the lashes fall off naturally and then the manager or owner or whoever she was became pretty hostile towards me. She told I would have to still pay for the lash tint and lift. I told them they weren't able to provide me the service and that I wouldn't be back. Five seconds after leaving they charged me as a no-show (aka the whole $99 service that they said they couldn't perform). The most entertaining, and unprofessional, part was that they also blocked me on Instagram. Not sure why but that goes to show that their customer service is little to be desired. Loved every second! I was a lash extension rookie but Krysta was fabulous! We had a great consultation and landed on classic customized extensions with a tad more volume. I was so excited to splurge on myself and try lash extensions! I had a bunch of communication prior to my appt with Meaghan, who came highly recommended by my mom's colorist. She was super responsive and answered all my questions, most important being "can i have natural lashes because i'm a natural girl?" and the answer was "of course"! I couldn't even imagine me in some porn star lashes but Meaghan said they were customizable and I was in! The experience at this little lash studio was awesome from start to finish. Sweet greetings all around, good music, positive energy. We start with a brief consult and your lash tech will go through all the instructions like the Do and Donts for when you go home. Then I hopped on the table and we jumped right in! She placed a pad on my lower lashes so that they don't get glued to the upper lashes. Makes sense. This was a little awkward at first but you quickly get used to the feeling. After that, time flew! We didn't have too much convo in the beginning because talking uses all your facial muscles and you don't want your eyelids dancing around while she's working. It took about an hour and a half, which is exactly how long I was expecting. It helps to do your research and she will send you a link to do just that prior to your appt. There were no surprises at all because I read and watched everything she sent me. Including that you cannot use anything but like a Cetaphil to wash your face and no regular make up removers because the are made with solvents and glycol and your lashes will come right off! They give you a couple samples of the makeup remover pads and lash brush to fluff your lashes everyday. I thought this all sounded complicated because like I said I'm a 5 minute shower, no frills, natural girl. It's totally fine (I'm on day two writing this review). My lashes look AMAZING! So natural and perfect placement. I couldn't believe it! It's nothing like what was described to me by friends, like they might be heavy or too thick. They look like my regular lashes with no clump mascara and maybe they grew overnight and I feel nothing at all, like there's no weight to them. I forget I have them on until I look in the mirror - and I love looking in the mirror!! Ha! So happy with them! Price is reasonable and the product is high quality. First time getting a lash lift and tint, and couldn't have asked for a better salon to go to! I had done a ton of research finding the right salon and ensuring that this process was right for me. Although I knew the basics, Meaghan laid everything out step by step, what she was going to do and how long it would take. It's been quite a while since I had eyelash extensions. So, I didn't know what to expect nor do I remember the previous set. When I walked inside the salon, I got a "feel" of modern elegance! It was so clean and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Everyone was welcoming and kind. I filled out the usual paperwork and was led to the front suite, where two aestheticians work side-by-side. I was told it would be so relaxing that I would probably take a nap, honestly, I am not a napper. Megan was my aesthetician and she was going to start by doing my lashes first, needless to say, I was so relaxed, I dozed off several times, lol, so much for not napping!! After my lashes were applied, Megan did an eyebrow mapping and tint. I was extremely pleased with the work that was done on my face. My eyelashes and eyebrows look absolutely beautiful and perfect. I have been going to see Meaghan every 3 weeks without fail since April of last year. After all this time, she has done an amazing job every single time. She is quick to answer my questions, such a professional, and makes her available for her clients whenever she can. On top of all this, she has started to do my brows as well. I have always done my brows myself but she did such a good job, I think I will continue to let her take care of them for me. Recently, Meaghan switched up the company that she gets her lashes from. She has switched to a more expensive line and has barely raised her prices to keep her customers (talk about a team player!!). The new line she is using has glue that has less fumes, lighter fluffier lashes, and I've found that I have more lashes by the time my next visit rolls around. Aftercare has changed a little bit. The new line requires oil-free products and needs 3 hours to dry. That is still WAY better than 99% of the other lash boutiques out there that require 24-48 hours of drying time. I hate waking up with gunky eye crusts after my appointments. Her prices have stayed low since all of these changes (and it is a flat fee for fills as long as you have more than 50% of your lashes still intact. Otherwise it's considered a full). As I've said before, this place is AMAZING. The girls all do such a fantastic job (you are in good hands with anyone) and every girl leaves this place happier and more glamorous!! read more

The place is very clean and the staff is super friendly and professional. Andrea is a master of her craft. She was so sweet and I was shocked at the results. I was booked with Nadia for my first session, she is SO kind and professional. I had the classic lashes put on and got so many compliments from all my friends and family - not to mention I thought they looked great too! I have had many fills and this most recent fill, I noticed my lashes were falling out faster than usual. I called up the Studio and Nadia was able to fit me in THAT AFTERNOON at no charge for a quick 30 minute fix up. The weather was the culprit of the lashes falling off (humidity-which Nadia explained to me). I have to say, while this is the only studio I've had gotten my lash extensions from, I will not be visiting anywhere else! I recommend this studio to all my friends! Caroline has done my lashes three times now and she is amazing! First, I went for the "classic" look and really liked it because it was very natural. The second time I brought a picture of a friend with mega dramatic lashes and Caroline delivered with the volume look. Today I went again and got the more voluminous lashes, but I asked for a little shorter as I have smaller eyes then said friend in the picture. Caroline listened and gave me the perfect blend of length, volume, and curl so that I have those "are they real?" type of amazing lashes. Okay- let me start out by saying I have had clip in extensions forever, so I was a little nervous to give tape ins a try. I did so much research- places in the city ,suburbs, etc. and even went on 3 separate consultations to hear how many packs i need, length, color, cost, etc. Meaghan was by far the most helpful and honest of anyone I went to. I asked every question I could think of and all her answers were by far the most truthful and realistic which is exactly what I wanted. Her answers were not "it depends" or "it may look like this, it may look like that". I feel like a lot of the places I went in the city could not give me a straight answer on price/length and she was extremely honest which I loved. Not only was she very knowledgeable on extensions, but she her salon is very clean and talking to Meghan for an hour while she puts them in was great too. I would highly recommend you get a consultation with her before seeking out more places like I did- had I found her first that would've saved me a lot of time! Since my very first day at Megalash, I was made to feel at home. Meaghan takes pride in her business that SHE built with hard work and integrity. I was given all of the information on getting and maintaining lashes. She maintains excellent hygiene (even before Covid). She is transparent in her process AND a perfectionist ...when you leave with your gorgeous lashes...that's a reflection of her and her business! Loved the customer service but felt like the final product was not as expected/not as polished as I would expect. Let me elaborate - the lash tech was very sweet - no complaints about her level of customer service. However, I had showed her a couple photos of what I was hoping for and my final product was not a match. I looked like I had a big swath of opaque-blackness across my eyes and for someone who had not had extensions before, it was very jarring. My tech thinned the lashes out at my request (again lovely girl). I spent probably 3 hours at this appointment. It started to look very clumpy and sparse after about a week even though I followed all after-care instructions to the letter. I tried to make a follow up appointment around this time to get them filled at the 3 week mark and was told they would not be able to get me in for another month after that! After my lashes had started to shed, as I was told they would, I noticed that they were coming out in clumps of 2-3 lashes glued together on one extension. This concerned me because i was worried this would damage my lashes. I did some research and found another lash studio who confirmed my concern that proper isolation techniques were not followed. She also informed me that the lashes applied were too long and would cause damage to my natural lashes - something properly applied lash extensions should not do. All in all, lovely customer service but what I feel is a lack of experience. I would not go back or recommend for lash application. Given I chose this studio on yelp reviews, I thought I had a responsibility to share my experience on this platform as well. Update - hi - the owner has accused me in her comment of posting a false review, but that's not true. No one asked me to post, i have not posted on behalf of anyone's views but my own and clearly stated that I went to another professional and relayed what they told me about the previous application of lashes. I am not advertising for any other studio. The only reason I've gone into such detail on this is that my first review was removed due to "lack of detail" and that didn't sit well with me. I have been respectful in relaying my experience and opinions but have not had that in return. Can they really choose the best place? Indeed they can.. BEST can not begin to describe! It took a bit of an investigation to find me in the system, but that happens everywhere.. can't seem to get anywhere to spell my name correctly. As for the experience after that... AMAZING!!!! The lashes stayed on 3 weeks longer than originally expected! I have wanted to get eyelash extensions for at least the last year. After doing EXTENSIVE amounts of research (on the lashes used, the glue, certifications, client reviews, etc.), I made the decision to finally get them done. I chose MegaLash because ALL of the girls are certified, they use medical grade adhesive, and they specialize only in brows and eyelashes. When I got to my first appointment with Nicole, I was so nervous. Prior to my first appointment, I did even more research and saw tons of horror stories about people getting eye infections, swollen eyelids, and saw disgusting pictures. The second I walked into the tiny, adorable studio, I was greeted right away by Meghan (the owner) and her sister Nicole. We went through the first visit paperwork together and then Nicole began my lashes. Nicole listened and answered all of my crazy questions and really put me at ease. I explained that I wanted really, really natural looking lashes and she executed them PERFECTLY. The actual process of getting the extensions did not hurt at all - it was actually really relaxing (the heated table and the pillow under the knees helps!). Occasionally, my super sensitive eyes start watering a ton (sorry again Nicole lol) and she handles it SO professionally and doesn't make me feel bad at all. She just repositions the eye pads and/or puts the fan on my eyes - like nothing even happened! I have now gotten 4 fills with Nicole and I am ADDICTED. First of all, Nicole and Meghan are the sweetest, most down to earth girls ever. They talk with you if you want to talk and they let you take a nap if you want to nap. They take their jobs so seriously and are total perfectionists when it comes to their work. Second, having extensions has made getting ready in the morning so much easier & less time consuming, they have made me actually wear less makeup because I feel like I don't need it, and I always look and feel put together. I will never go to another place to get my lashes done ever!!! I go to Nadia and she always goes above and beyond to make sure my lashes are perfect every single time I come! She gives me her full attention, everything is always very clean and sanitary, she makes sure I am comfortable, and always willing to work with what I need. She never rushes and makes sure to take her time with everything that she does. When I go in for my fills every 3 weeks my lashes are always still really full, i've never had a problem with them falling out quickly, in fact I've been going here for about a year now and have never had a single problem with my lashes!
