First of all , this was my first time tried this place because my favorite place in San Ramon closed down since Covid Pandemic. Plus I just moved to Martinez. And I saw reviews from Yelps so I decided to give them a try and I made an appointment with them. First picture was a pic from internet that I wanted my nails to be. I asked the lady for Matt top and she said ok we have that. Second picture was my real nails after getting done. They gave me dipping powder and put gel on top instead. I asked the old lady who did my nail that the dipping color should be light pink not white. She said they don't have it.( How come the nail salons don't have light pink color! ? ). I even showed her video how to paint but she did a bad job. I'm disappointed! Last picture was my toes , I asked for Matt top as well. It turned out this this and not smooth. My job is a service job, I work with customers too. I know and I expected them to give me a better service but their service is horrible! I don't like to write bad reviews till it comes to something that I'm really disappointed and it's not worth my money. As that price they charged me I expected their ladies to do my nail greatly but they did not. But I tipped them 20% + just to let them know that I'm not a cheap person. Total price plus tax was $108 and I tip them $25. Because I knew I requested a little much but I really wanted my nails to be exactly like the first picture. I also wanted to try their lashes extension service but I don't trust them after this happened to my nails. Disappointed! read more

This is my second review for Natural nails. I have been going to them since before covid and I have never left disappointed. Hannah does my nails and she is such a sweetheart and so good at her job. Very particular and makes sure she gives me just want I asked for. Today I showed her a pictute of a new shape I was looking for and she nailed it...no pun intended. Also she picked this awesome color herself and I just love it. I have had my eyebrows waxed and pedicures done there to and Im happy everytime. Currently getting a pedicure as a first time customer at Natural Nails, so I definitely wanted to take this time to give a review. This nail salon is so relaxing, VERY CLEAN & VERY tidy. The atmosphere is exactly what you would want when getting a pedicure or trying to do some self care. All the staff from what I have seen sitting here observing are very attentive & so so kind. They really take their time on each customer & don't make any service rushed. That's really important for me especially when it comes to pedicures, because I hate when they barely massage you for like two seconds. But that's not the case here. I will definitely be returning. I used to come here for Hannah, and I will never be coming back for her now because of my recent experience. She was so incredibly rude, it shocked me. Prepped my nails for a dip manicure for 60 seconds per hand. I am being completely serious. She barely even filed off the gel I had in before, and immediately starting dipping my nails. What a waste of $45. Thank you Hannah, for barely getting my dark pink nail polish off before shoving my fingers into a bright white container. To add insult to injury, she gave me the incorrect color!! I can't make this stuff up. When I realized she was seriously starting to dip my nails, I asked her "are you going to clean and prep my nails before?" And she said no. Does not come with a dip manicure. Also, very unsanitary. She continually dipped my finger in the entire dip color container, which is absolutely disgusting and illegal. Funny enough, when Hannah turned her back, I asked the woman sitting next to me if her nails were trimmed, cleaned, cuticles prepped, etc for her dip manicure. She said yes. Hannah, you were so rude, sloppy, and made me so uncomfortable. I found myself apologizing for her lazy work and bad attitude. I had to ask over and over again for her to fix things, because she was so interested in finishing my "manicure". NEVER AGAIN!!! I love trying different nail salons with my 5 year old daughter. She loves to get her nails done! This is my second time giving this place a shot and I've come to the decision to not come here again. The nail techs do not have a good sense of customer service skills and are rude. For example While I was there I tried being friendly and so did my daughter and not one of the 4 techs engaged in any conversation. Also There was a lady who came in and inquired about eyelash extensions and the person just pointed to the sign and said read and rolled her eyes when she requested an appointment and the poor girl ended up turning around and walking off apologizing for wasting their time. I requested dipped nails, and this is what I got. They are noticeable bubbles in my nails that even my husband noticed. Decided to give this place a second try after a disappointing experience I had previously.. Called decently ahead and made and appointment for 4:30, showed up a little early and expected to wait which was not a problem. Got sat at my appointment time in a pedicure chair and we were off to a great start, but then I was left sitting in the chair ignored for 30 minutes before anyone even said anything to me. The woman sitting next to me had made a similar comment and was about to leave, and they jumped to helping her right away. I didn't want to take anyone away from a client that was already being worked on, so I decided to just get up and get my things together to leave. I was begged to stay but decided against it as I didnt think that getting up to leave should have been the thing that started my service when I explicitly had an appointment for 30 minutes earlier. I understand being busy, however there is always the option to call a client and ask them to push back their appointment time if needed. After being treated incredibly rudely the last time I was here, this experience sealed the deal, confirming that I will not be back. read more

No , they rejected me every chance they get . First time they were all booked up and it wasn't nearly closed . Second, they had no one to do the eyebrows (lies). Third , I honestly did come in the last 30 mins but I just wanted a removal.although they had employees walking around. I'm convinced that they don't like working with people of color . Updating my review to add on that Laura (lol same name!) has been doing my pedicures the last 4 of 5 times. She has been kind, courteous, and thorough each time. I definitely recommend her. Hannah has still continued to do my manicures, and I've been doing dip lately. The speed and accuracy that Hannah has while doing dip is seriously impressive! She is also really great at shaping nails which is very important as well. I recently moved to Martinez and went to this salon a few times due to convenience and reviews. I wish I would have read the reviews closer. An older women did my pedicure on a Thursday. She was not paying attention and took a phone call for about 5min of the pedicure. She cut my big toe and giggled. I now have what looks like an INFECTION. My big toe is red, swollen and painful. My first impression was that the space is beautiful, spa like and relaxing with no offensive smells because it is spacious with ample air circulation. The sounds of spa made the experience very relaxing. I felt it was a covid safe space with all precautions put in place. I brought in a picture of what I wanted and they went to work. One hour later - beautiful nails! I'm very pleased. $55 + tip - They removed acrylics in a safe and gentle manner. Soak and file. My nails look and feel great! I will try the gel pedi next. Made an appt for the same day for a basic gel pedi and mani. I arrived and was seated right away. Yen did my pedi and Calvin (I think that's how you spell his name) did my mani. My feet needed MAJOR help and Yen was extremely thorough, fast, and didn't get one single cut. The place is very clean, modern, and simple. They sanitize everything after each client. The only thing I wish they had was a posted list of services and prices. I asked for a pamphlet but they didn't have any. So if you're unsure about pricing I'd ask beforehand. For my basic gel mani/pedi it was surprising less than I thought, $60 total. They did such a great job, I'd definitely go back. They accept cash/card but would prefer cash for tipping. read more

The salon is very clean, very covid compliant, everything has plastic on it and there is a plexiglass barrier between you and your nail artist. I had Yen. Very sweet. Extremely conscientious. She wants to take her time and make your mani/pedi the best. There was music playing in the background that I was tempted to sing along with. Treat yourself in these stressful times. This salon deserves zero stars. I went on Friday For a fill and was told they don't do acrylic. The tech proceeded to pull my acrylic nails off with acrylic nails from her drawer. She then sanded and prepped my nails but never put the acrylic on. 3 days later this is what my nails looks like and when I called They said they do do acrylic but changed that after I said they didn't do mine correctly and basically blamed it on me. read more

I want to start by saying I have in the past, been happy spending my money here but when I went in for a third time to get a fill and a pedicure as i always do I learned a week later I would be very disappointed and frustrated because I feel as if i wasted my money. I went in after calling ahead, asking if I could receive the services requested above in a certain amount of time because I had to pick up my son from school. She said yes come in and didn't ask or consult with me but just proceeded to apply press on nails to my finger nails with glue then did gel on top. I still was on a time frame i trusted she knew what she was doing and I didn't say anything. Ive been twice, I was a walk-in and was seen right away both times. I had a pedicure and gel manicure each time & loved it. They were all so friendly and welcoming. And let me tell you, the massages are so good!! My manicure massage was longer than at usual places & just the perfect pressure. Down fault...the polish/gel they use doesn't last. Both times they started to chip within three or four days. Usually gel will last me about two weeks. So that was a huge bummer. read more
