I decided to go to lavish nails because they had good reviews and it was easy to make an appt online. When I arrived, I was surprised by how messy and unsanitary it looked. I have never seen a salon with so much stuff everywhere. There were nail polishes in boxes stacked on the floor and counter space in the back looked messy and cluttered. My gut feeling almost had me turn around and leave, but I did not want to be rude. I was seated next to the fridge in a pedicure chair. My pedicure was actually really nice. The lady took her time and gave a great massage. I probably would not have taken the time to write a review if I just had the pedicure. My terrible experience was with the nail tech, Simon. I asked for an acrylic fill and asked him for natural looking nails. Half way through, I looked and they were thicker than I like. I asked if they could be thinner and I thought I heard him say mmhmm. When he finished shaping, he showed me them and said he did a curve and that is natural. He stated he was skilled. I did not want to be fussy and now that I look back, I should have said something again because I went home and could not get over how thick my nails were. They looked bubbly and I could not put on my own jewelry on because they were so thick. I convinced myself to go back the next day. I went right when they opened and Simon asked what was wrong and I told him I loved the color and the shape, but my nails were too thick. I was very nice and he told me my nails go up and that is why he had to make them thick. He then said they will break easily once he shaves them down and can't gaurantee them next time. I said, that is fine. (My nails are very sturdy 1.5 weeks later). He begrudgingly filed them down and told me I should never get fake nails if I want them to look natural. I did not respond, but I have had so many fake nails that looked great. He went so fast that my nails have ridges. He did not say bye or anything. The cost for my nail fill and pedi was $120 and I tipped $20 btw.

I've been going to her for years, and somehow she just keeps getting better and better every time. Not only is her work flawless, but she's incredibly fast. For example, I got a French gel manicure done in just 40 minutes--and it was perfect. I genuinely don't know how she does it. The quality she delivers is top-tier, and honestly, she could (and probably should) be charging more. Her pricing is surprisingly reasonable considering how exceptional her work is. They sanitize and clean there nail tools everyday, provide a variety of different nail paint colors, they do not reuse the same tool on different customers because contamination and germs can spread, and they have comforting massage chairs for you to use while you wait your turn. I feel good after my dead skin from my feet was pulled. I'd come back if I were you. Locals & Newcomers, know that walk-ins are not accepted. I have been using Neosporin and keeping it bandaged, but the cut is still open and hurts when I wear shoes or walk. This has been really frustrating and uncomfortable. A pedicure should not leave a customer injured and struggling to walk normally. I trusted them to be careful, but I left with a painful cut and now I may need medical care because it is not healing properly. I have photos showing the injury. Very disappointing and unacceptable experience. I would not recommend this place.

I told the nail tech and they said to try Zen Builder. I was told it creates a buffer between your nail beds and the gel so when they change color it doesn't ruin your nail beds. Genius. I loved my pedicure and manicure. It was sweet of them to offer complimentary water, tea, coffee, and soda. It's important to me to support local businesses and I plan to continue with this salon!
