I think they did a wonderful job…read more Bryan Buckner, our salesperson, was pleasant to deal with - clear communication every step of the way - from picking out materials, cost estimates, setting appointments, and following up. We had our kitchen linoleum and great room carpet removed and replaced with hardwood, which took 4 days to complete. We also replaced the carpet on one flight of stairs, as it was torn up/detached - that only took half a day to complete. John was extremely accommodating. Free of charge, he offered to move up the kitchen cabinets above the fridge a couple of inches to allow room for the added height of the hardwood floor and now the cabinet doors open all the way too (they didn't before, due to obstruction from the fridge door hinges)! He also had good communication during the job. He made sure to tell me about issues or concerns he had along the way and gave me solution choices on what I preferred before he went ahead with it. In one instance of note, I gave the go-ahead to install the hardwood around our existing fireplace tile without t-molding (otherwise we'd have to order more wood), meaning he would have to spend extra attention to cut the wood so it would meet flush with the tile. He did exactly that. That night, my husband expressed that he preferred t-molding there so I called Bryan the next day to ask if it's possible to add t-molding around that tile area after-the-fact. After consulting with John, Bryan let me know that not only will John order more wood and come back to make that happen, but it was free of charge too. Also notable: we own a baby grand piano in the living room. Perfect Floors said they don't move those due to liability reasons, understandably. However, John offered to move it for us. He said he was afraid that if we move the piano ourselves that we'd damage the wood, and he was right. I watched as the guys painstakingly repositioned plywood, plank by plank, beneath the piano to move it and position it exactly where I wanted. Beautiful hardwood remained intact. I greatly appreciated that. Our floors were done in early April. It's now mid-July and I still love it. We often get compliments from visiting friends and family. Now it's just a matter of trying to prevent our toddler from destroying the floors TOO much... and I guess we can never have dogs/cats in the house... we'll see how long that lasts! In conclusion, I definitely recommend Perfect Floors and would do business with them again.

To start, the owner said he would have a crew out to my house to install carpet. Turns out only one…read morecarpet installer showed up for the entire duration of the install for a two day install into a 5 day instal. To say the installer was pissed off that he had no help would be an understatement at best. As a result, he did not vacuum, did not clean up, did not bother move any furniture back into place and left scraps everywhere in the house. On top of all of this, when we called the owner to inform him of our concern, he was not professional, not empathetic at all to the situation.. I would NEVER recommend Perfect Floors to anyone. Yet another example of an owner who has no issues taking your money however does not want to take any responsibility when the customer has issues with the installation.

Absolute Disaster!!!…read more I hired this person for hardwood floor grinding and refinishing. Pictures tell the story. If you are looking for someone to turn a simple job into an electrical adventure, leave a mess behind, and create new problems you didn't have before -- this may be the person for you. On top of the poor workmanship, he was extremely rude and disrespectful. He attempted to connect his machine directly to a live electrical line, which resulted in damage to the electrical panel and an expensive oven showing a "Bad Line" error. Apparently, quality control and safety procedures were optional. Blamed the panel. The job was left with trash scattered around, and somehow the priority became demanding payment before the work was completed. Asked for additional $150 to "dispose" of the trash that he left behind. To add to the experience, machines were left sitting on carpet, creating another potential mess. We ended up contacting the local police. A reminder for anyone considering hiring him: do not release payment until you have personally inspected every detail of the work. Before making the deal demand full clean-up and disposal of trash. Take before pictures. Check your appliances, check your electrical system, and check that your property is actually left in better condition than when he arrived. Unfortunately, the experience was not the kind anyone wants.

Recently, I decided to sell the house that had been rented out for 12 years. The red oak wood floor…read morewas in rough shape, so I requested several quotes and initially selected one for restoration. Then Nathan reached out and provided a quote that was slightly higher than the one I had chosen, but his estimate stood out for its professionalism and detailed breakdown -- including shoe molding removal and replacement of damaged boards. I decided to go with him, and I'm so glad I did. Nathan communicated promptly and understood exactly what we needed. He and his coworker Leeland clearly knew their craft and did a fantastic job. They paid close attention to every detail, working carefully around the corners, closets, and especially the badly worn kitchen area. The floor now looks brand new and will surely impress potential buyers. I highly recommend their work!
