We did set up a last minute appointment and wasn't a huge fan of waiting outside in cold weather for like 15-20 mins but it was due to very strict hygiene/ sanitation reasons. They also had us sanitize as we walked in so very clean! It's actually a pretty small shop inside but their prices are great for the art, they also are willing to work with your budget by adjusting size or design which is helpful if you are on a budget. Would recommend especially after they messaged later reinforcing that they are there if we needed anything later on. Thank you to Jimmy who did the tats and Max who got us the info to get us in!

I went just for a consult and felt so comfortable that I had to do it. Mike was my artist and listened to what I wanted and he was actually sympathetic and made sure he got it. He drew them up and my requests were this - the ONLY thing I wanted cleaned up was an ink blot on her nose and some of the messy fur. I didnt want anything changed or made or symmetrical, I want THESE prints! He made sure I was happy with the drawing and placement (offset so I can see the entire tat without turning my arm, my tat, my placement choice ). My 22 yr old son, no tattoos, wanted to go with me and he was so impressed with my treatment, he walked out with 2 new tats ! Thank you to everyone at Hero's Tattoos in Conway and ESPECIALLY Mike! I had initially wanted a scripture (Genesis 16:13) below the Hebrew letters but due to the size I wanted he explained that over time the loops of the letters would close and it would not look crisp/clean anymore. I was grateful for that feedback as I was unaware of that fact and would not want a tattoo that doesn't look high quality... even years down the road. It's a very clean place: brand new needle in package shown to me before tattoo work began. Thorough follow up care provided including great responsiveness to messages. Very reasonable price for such quality work.
