We were also having issues with a sink P-Trap and hot water not coming out from the same shower where the leak was. Ramon sent out a plumber, named Fernando, who opened a hole in our drywall and after a couple of mins of eyeballing the area, he determined that the leak was coming from an old seal on the shower overflow. He also said that the issue with the hot water was coming from a cartridge issue and that he would fix it. All together for the P-Trap, seal replacement, and cartridge replacement I was charged $600 after receiving a $100 discount for paying all cash. Fast forward to now, our shower knob broke due to a faulty cartridge. It was an old, broken cartridge that Fernando installed which caused the knob to break. The leak? Never fixed. We patched up the drywall and after a couple of weeks started noticing water stains in the same area again. I reached out to Ramon regarding the leak and he said he would get back to me with info on when they could come back out but then went unresponsive. Since he wasn't responsive after I reached out about the leak, my wife reached out to him from her # about the cartridge issue and he asked her to send pictures and that he would fix it if it was their fault. Pictures were sent and we followed up with him multiple times just for him to ignore our calls/texts and send us to voicemail. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. I now find myself looking for another plumbing company on here to help with the leak that they never fixed, and ended up paying an additional $189 for a whole new kit to replace the cartridge and damaged water knob

He does not just come to do a job, but genuinely cares about each of his customers. He tries to establish a relationship with his customers by making it feel like he is taking care of a family member. He tries to get to know you and is willing to hold a conversation with you and hear you out. Plumbing issues can be very expensive and Stephen is sensitive to that. It is never a great time to get plumbing work done, but Stephen is there to talk with you, hear you out, and just be someone who genuinely cares about the customer. Here are things to watch out for with Pride Plumbing of Redlands and Palm Desert: 1) bait and switch service scope and pricing; 2) sloppy and legally-insufficient estimates; 3) inexperienced plumbers with very poor communication and interpersonal skills; 4) promised and broken arrival times; 5) inability to work cooperatively with other tradesmen (by their own admission); 6) customer blaming for their miscommunication; 7) unfamiliarity with high-end, European-made gas appliances (by their own admission); 8) leaving metal debris behind for the customer to dispose of; 9) not providing customers timely copies of their estimates; and 10) not providing customers copies of paid receipts for work. If you have a mid-mod in Palm Springs or a kitchen renovation with high-end European appliances, I do not recommend Pride based on my experience. They'll arrive late, argue with you, overcharge you, waste your time, and then not give you a receipt.
