I had a clogged toilet that I just COULD NOT unclog and so I called Bad Drains Plumbing. Raeann sent someone out the next day and David Garcia fixed the issue with his 6ft snake auger immediately. There was a follow up issue and David came up again (at no charge) to discover the true cause - a small knickknack had fallen in and was stuck in the deep recesses. Raeann offers AMAZING customer service and is extremely on top of things. She'll respond to every call or text immediately and David did great work. You don't get the feeling - far too common with other so many entitled contractors who seem to be more interested in getting their mega-lifted bro trucks paid for (by you) than doing an honest job - that you're expected to pay above-market rates for (at best) mediocre work with ludicrous, excuse-laden upcharges for every. single. thing. And if you question their rates? Watch that fake friendo smile drop to a stone cold stare in an instant. So tired of this attitude in these guys. Bad Drains in contrast is a breath of fresh air. They seem to be one of the last holdouts of fair dealing in a culture overrun with a hostile "looking out for myself first" mentality. Absolutely fantastic service! A bad clog prevented the water from going down both in the kitchen and bathroom sinks. Called at 7:30AM, David Solis and Eric came in at 11 (10-12 time frame) the same day and fixed and cleaned everything in less than 1 hour. They were super kind, professional, and explained to me what was happening. They had masks, gloves, and shoe covers. They even fixed the leaky pipe under my kitchen sink. The bill was fair. David added service valves and copper pipes so he could flush my 2x 14 year old tankless hot water systems. He also installed a drip leg and TPR Valves. David asked questions he needed to get the right information then offered a fair price. The total cost was $840. I had a plumber recommended by my Home Warranty insurance company who initially gave a quote for the work, but I was hesitant to go with him because he didn't notice that I needed service valves. When he discovered his mistake, he increased his price to $200 more than David's. When he didn't hear back from me, he dropped the price lower than David's quote (without me asking), but it was only by a tiny amount and I'd much rather go with someone like David who knew what he was doing and offered a fair price from the start! These guys are the best! We had a really bad kitchen sink get clogged up. We called bad drains and were greeted by a super nice lady who despite getting called on a Sunday, had amazing customer service. My building had a leak in the walls due to crumby and ancient galvanized piping. I was only able to start calling plumbers around 2:30pm, so I was pretty concerned no one would be able to come out. The building also only has a single water shut off for all the units... among other problems. But Bad Drains was able to get someone to help me out in a couple of hours! Definitely a life saver. Initially, we called to have our cold water line to the washer checked because only hot water came out. David came and fixed our problem, he saw that the connections were crossed when the washer was first installed (my mistake). He then found that the cold water spigot was leaking. David was called in by another plumbing company (On Time Rooter and Plumbing) because they didn't have the exact equipment to do the cleaning of our drain line. Props to Cesar and Alberto at On Time for coming out and sharing business with Fixx It. This kind of honest cooperation is exactly what we all want in service professionals. And politicians. Thank goodness we get it now and then. That's why I'm writing this review: vote for the best! David came to our home and tried to clear out our drain line, but it was impossible. He was leaving and I followed him out and talked with him and said something like "Hey, I need to give you some money." He said something like "Well, maybe $20." And this was after he tried for almost an hour to snake my lines! Seriously, I had to bring up the matter of money or he would have just left without asking for anything. I did give him more than $20 and he said that he might want to try one more technique: hydrojetting, though he made no guarantees. David came back the next day and hydrojetting cleared my line. Success! David was very clear this was a temporary fix and I need to replace my drain lines. I know that's true, but no one else even went to the trouble of giving hydrojetting a try. Since David did, I hope I have a year or so to use my bathroom while getting ready for a remodel. I'm very happy with that. David was honest, articulate, competent, committed, and successful.
