Trying to find some healthy eats right before the half marathon/marathon without breaking the bank. I ordered protein plus chicken with double steamed veggies, with ginger shots. Good portions, friendly staff as well. Parking is street only, might take a little bit to find.

My ratings changed after coming here almost every week for over 10 years based on principle! I WILL NOT EVERY EAT HERE AGAIN UNLESS THEY CHANGE THEIR PRICES BACK. I understand costs increase although not to warrant a 20% increase across the board on their menu. Their prices have almost doubled in the last 3 or 4 years. They just raised their prices by a whopping 20% across the board!! Do the math. I ordered last week and the New Yorker Panini was $12.95 now it's $16.19?? The Grilled Chicken Club Panini was $11.95 now its $14.94??? What restaurant ends a price with these kind of ending numbers! What idiots! They raised their "2 for $20"promotions to 2 for $25!! They also have an unexplained online service charge why?? So many people are out of work, have to pay for child care and increased medical costs, mot receiving raises and this is how Nature's Grills owners thank their customer. STAY AWAY!! No morals, no consideration for customers other than "thinking Profit First" SEE ATTACHED PHOTOS OF THE MENU AND MY LAST ORDER.

    Egg Sandwich. Maui Sunset Smoothie

Ready great place for the community! Healthy mindset and good quality food that is packed with favor! I had a egg sandwich that is a must try for a simple Sunday morning! The well trained-service was mindful that suggested it when I asked I didn't want anything heavy. The place brings good vibes from staff & its decor! Will come back again!

    Calypso Smoothie

I have previously eaten at their other location in Boerum Hill. So during this pandemic, I was craving a smoothie and didn't want to walk far--I thought of this place, which is within walking distance and they had what I needed--so perfect. I ordered a strawberry banana smoothie--8/10 Side order of brown rice--10/10 Lentil Soup--5/10 The brown rice was perfect and was worth the value. Everything else wasn't--the soup was bad--lacked flavor and wasn't worth the price The smoothie was okay--nothing over the top I think this place is slightly overpriced for what you get here. I also felt like my order was very simple, yet took me awhile to get my food. I'm not sure if I would return here.

    Baked Sweet Potato Fries
    Canny F.

One of the best sweet potato fries I've had in the bay ridge area. I'm also not a sandwich or wrap person but their wraps were so flavorful. They did mess up my order though for one of my wraps, I ordered sun dried tomato wrap and they gave me a regular one instead. Not the end of the world but details are important. Regardless, their protein wasn't dry and the sauce was over the top. Most importantly, the sweet potato fries are unbelievably good.

    Dice It Bowl. Huge portions!!

My first time ordering online from Nature's Grill and it will certainly not be the last! We placed our pick-up orders on Nature's Grill's website so we could use their coupon as advertised on their Instagram. The only concern we had was that Nature's Grill's personal online ordering site did not feature the same topping selections and choices as that of third-party ordering sites like Grubhub and Seamless. Nevertheless, if you put the toppings you want that are not on Nature's Grill's website, they seem to comply! We ordered the "Dice It bowl" and created our own large salad. Each dish was prepared as ordered; even the comments and notes I left to "please add cucumbers to the salad" were followed! Delicious food and HUGE portions! The "Dice It Bowl" was enough for at least two people (or two servings). It was tasty, hearty, and healthy. The salad was large and generously filled as well. Don't let the pictures fool you, all of the ingredients were perfectly mixed in but their weight brought them to the bottom. Generous pieces of grilled shrimp, an abundance of goat cheese, and large containers. of. dressing on the side nicely wrapped in saran plastic wrap to keep it from spilling. We didn't dine in, so I can't speak much for that experience but the service seemed very efficient and friendly as we were greeted upon entry. The venue looked decently neat and clean; nothing to complain about there. I'd definitely return to create my own salad and try some of their other deliciously guilt-free meals one day!

    Chicken panini sandwich
    Christian P.

I really wanted chicken noodle soup one day and decided to come in here. Ordered a Chicken panini sandwich with chicken noodle soup. I enjoyed what I ordered, the soup hit the spot and the sandwich was delicious. Staff were nice also, a positive experience ordering here. The only downside is that food is pretty expensive here, the sandwich + soup came out to to be around $25.

    Filet Mignon Steak Salad [$13.95]
    Felisa F.

I have a friend who likes Nature's Grill. This was the first time though that I tried it out [COVID-19 or not]. Filet Mignon Steak Salad [$13.95]: I am super impressed with this steak "salad". I disagree on calling this a salad when it's on a bed of brown rice. Nonetheless... I'm not sure what I was expecting [based on previous reviews, not much] but it was really good! The steak was so juicy and tender. It was cooked perfectly [medium] for me. The lettuce got a little wilt-y but that's what happens when you add warm ingredients to lettuce. The teriyaki sauce on the side was good, but I don't even know that you need it. It would probably be overkill to add the whole container. For just about $14, the portion size is ginormous. My photo is only half of what was actually in the container [I'm trying to be fancy by using actual dishes]. Sugar Free Chocolate Mousse [$4.25]: Yeah, this was pretty good too. I mean it's sugar free and more like a cake than a mousse, but it was good. It was super moist- actually more moist than some normal cakes I've had in the past. Delivery time [about 40 minutes] seemed reasonable to me even though the website indicated an hour. I'm down to pay $21 to support a local business.

    Chicken bone in my wrap.
    Mi Gusta B.

This place is way more expensive than what it's worth. Found a chicken bone in my wrap... Thanks.

My seamless order confirmation. $14.35 for the grilled combo wrap.

The salmon over hash brown , was lacking a touch of something , couldn't pinpoint what was lacking. Chicken and waffles, decent, wasn't the best I've had. Service- jonathan was our waiter during brunch and also our bartender. He's GREAT! I pass this place daily, zoomin' by I'd see Philadelphia something. The video gave a full explanation and why I need to put Philadelphia Grille in my lunch rotation. Walking inside, I know what I want. Steak with white american cheese with the works (onions, peppers, and hot peppers) There's an option for mayo, I'm not sure who's getting mayo on their cheesesteak but hey, you do you! The owner comes to the front and I tell him I saw this spot on social media. Everything looks amazing, I can't wait to try my sandwich. How long have you been in business? I'm expecting 18 months, he tells me over 30 years?? Wow! Not only is Philadelphia Grille a sandwich shop but they're also serving pizza for decades. I must point out, Philadelphia Grille is a very small spot. Walking inside, you're faced with a small counter. Once you have your food, they have tables and chairs in a covered lanai. I'd be a chilly Billy eating my sandwich so I took it to go. Once I get back to my Brooklyn Fortress of Solitude I dig in. The cheesesteak my way? Dynamite. Italian bread from Brooklyn wrapping up a cheesy meat fest. Philadelphia Grille did everything right in Brooklyn! I can't wait to come back and try the roast pork. The restaurant is not overly expensive -- the $65.00 lunch bill below suggests a high-end selection and/or apps. I had a pineapple mint lemonade, sea bass on saffron risotto, a lovely salad topped with potato gnocchi, and cake dessert for $85 inclusive of 20% tip and tax. Nearly everything tasted fresh and homemade. Worth it. If this were served in Restaurant Row, the bill would be $40 more and the food not nearly as good. Because Beets & Carrots offers something rare and startlingly somehow in decline: food that tastes like food the body happily accepts as such. They serve meals that stand out simply because they taste like food. It was nice to dine outside the home feeling confident no digestive issues, lethargy, brain fog, bloating, etc were around the corner. You can tell that someone health conscious who cares about how ingredients show up in the meal is in the kitchen, someone who thinks food is both very fun and very serious. Least favorite: The lemonade. Mostly personal preference here, as I prefer a much tarter, less watery lemonade with higher lemon:water volume ratio. But I think most people would like it; I would get it again. Favorite: Both the entree and salad (which surprised me with a deliciously simple horseradish dressing) were great, but the bass wins in my book. Skin crisped to perfection...very flavorful fish and a great cut...creamy, perfect risotto. I appreciated that the risotto wasn't too salty as well.

Home is where the heart is and there is nothing quite like a home cooked meal. I have to say most Bay Ridgians enjoy dining local and in our neighborhood. I love to support neighborhood gems because majority of restaurant owners here, love their clients, establish loyalty through cooking delicious food and provide consistent great customer service. I was in the mood for a " comfort food"breakfast, you know, eggs, avocado, mozzarella, tomato, deliciousness and I found it on the menu simply named "Breakfast Sandwich". Which consists of voila: Mozzarella, avocado, tomato jam, arugula, crispy bacon, dijonaise, sunny side up egg between multigrain toasts. I ordered this sans the bacon ( requested turkey bacon which they do not have). What arrived in my plate was this decadent open faced egg sandwich that looked delectable.. and was!! Let's first talk about the wheat toast: I tasted it naked and it simply melted in my mouth. The ingredients worked well together, perfect synchronicity. I used one half of the toast to sop up any fallen ingredients. Highly recommend! For a drink, I wanted something a bit different, thus, ordered the Mango Mint Peach tea, fruity with a hint of mint. Loved it and went well with the Sammy! There are lovely options besides breakfast sandwiches like quinoa, oatmeal, granola, pancakes, French toast.. breakfast is served all day and lunch is served @noon. I arrived before 12 and was told I can order breakfast or lunch. It has a cozy, intimate vibe which I love.. one where you can dine solo, or do work or read or just enjoy the fabulous food. I will make "The Common" my home away from home. We ordered the chicken liver mousse, crispy potato tart, and burger. The chicken liver mousse is a must order and something I get every time I come here, whether it is this location or the Park Slope one. The mousse itself is rich, creamy, savory, and packed with umami. I just wish it came with something better on the side. The pita was a little underwhelming and was not warmed all the way through. The crispy potato tart was excellent. The potato was super crispy, and a bite with the salmon, egg, sour cream, and potato together was perfect. The lightly dressed arugula helped cut through the richness and made for a nice palate cleanser. The burger looked pretty simple when it arrived, but it ended up being surprisingly good. The patty was juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Overall, a great neighborhood spot and one I would happily come back to.
