Would give ZERO stars if possible. Ordered avocado toast. Got plain toast with avocado chunks and eggs thrown in a container. Not avocado toast. Called to explain and a manager named Larry became aggressive and sexist--a total chauvinistic pig--calling me "honey" and "baby," and refusing to give his name. He told me to return the food, then acted even worse in person, shoving the menu at me and saying he didn't care. Staff admitted he fights with them often. Terrible food, worse treatment. Never again.

The staffs are friendly. Ordered chicken parm on hero to go. It came with pickle and coleslaw. The chick parm sandwich was good but it didn't come with fries. Food: 3/5 Service: 3/5 [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambience: 3/5[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Pretty good food I've explored more items on the menu. The chicken sandwiches are great. We love those. The pasta dishes are also very nice. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Solid place that has really gotten better with time[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Honestly horrible food. Stopped by this morning to get some breakfast before a doctor's appointment and got the challah French toast with a side of bacon. The challah French toast was some of the worst I've ever had. It was oddly both bland/tasteless and weirdly undercooked/soggy. I had to drown it in syrup just to make it edible and only ate the smaller of the two pieces. The bacon was also horrible. It was either old or overcooked or both. It wasn't crispy or chewy, just kind of felt like you're eating cardboard and tasted probably about as good as cardboard tastes. It also didn't really look like bacon but more like a bacon flavored dog treat. The only reason I'm giving this place two stars instead of one is because the waiter was very sweet and the coffee was decent. I won't be coming back here though because if you mess up something as simple as French toast, I'm afraid to taste anything else here.

    Open faced Pastrami sandwich

The Mirage Diner has been around many years. I've passed it for many years and never stopped! We decided to come for dinner because my husband's aunt orders from here and always says how good everything is and she said they have a great lime Ricky. Well they do and the food was excellent! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The diner is spotless too.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our waiter came over and introduced himself, which I haven't seen in a while. My husband got his usual pizza burger deluxe. It was done perfectly medium, juicy and delicious! The fries were good not greasy at all. There were two good sized onion rings and your tomato which looked nice not mealy and lettuce. Now I've been dying for pastrami for weeks but too darn cheap to go get one. The Mirage has pastrami and corned beef, also brisket which I'll try next time. I took a shot and got the open faced pastrami sandwich. I'm thinking ugh you idiot...IT WAS DELICIOUS! Just as good as any kosher deli if not better. It smelled heavenly and it had just enough fat to keep it from being dry and not where you have to constantly cut fat off. I found out they won an award for their pastrami! The hot open faced sandwiches comes with soup or salad, I opted for salad which was fresh and crisp, potato of choice and a veg. We will be going back and I suggest you all do too! Definitely get a pastrami sandwich!

Will you be open Thanksgiving 2021?

Comparing this diner to the Vegas diner which is now closed down which is better?

I was a long Vegas regular, Mirage is better. The onion bread that usually comes in the bread basket w/dinner on Sundays is hella good.

From the moment we stepped through the doors, it was clear that Ren is leagues above any other restaurant we've visited. Calling Ren a restaurant feels almost like an understatement; it's a culinary journey. The menu is a testament to culinary artistry - each dish, from the appetizers through to the desserts, was a masterpiece. The flavors and textures were unique and memorable, with each bite cooked to absolute perfection. The service at Ren deserves its own accolade - it's a five-star experience in its own right. The waitstaff was attentive without being intrusive, enriching our evening with detailed descriptions of each dish. They didn't just serve food; they presented a story on a plate, explaining the intricate details of the ingredients, preparation, and the symphony of flavors to expect. The ambiance of Ren added to the magic of the evening. The decor was tasteful, the furniture and seating comfortable, creating an environment that was both elegant and inviting. It's clear that attention to detail is a priority here, and it shows in every aspect of the restaurant. In conclusion, dining at Ren isn't just a meal; it's an immersive experience that tantalizes all the senses. While it may not be the most budget-friendly option, what you receive is far more than just food - it's an evening of unforgettable culinary exploration. Some dishes were bigger than others. Both times I came they didn't have abalone so we substitute the dish for garlic scallop (which I prefer). The menu also says it comes with house special dessert but we never gotten any. For any seafood, it's market price plus they add a 30% processing fee, which is strange to me. For a Chinese restaurant which usually does not charge tax if you pay with cash, they charge tax here whether you pay by card or cash. The restaurant is pretty big and spacious. They have pretty large tables, suitable for parties and celebrations. There's a private space upstairs with 3 large tables for parties. The restaurant is pretty slow in the afternoon.

I have walked past it many times and always assumed it was closed. Turns out they only serve dinner, which explains a lot. The dining room is small with just a handful of tables, so it is probably best to come early or make a reservation. The tight space and rustic interior give it a lot of charm. It almost feels like stepping into a place that has not changed in decades, which really adds to that old school Italian vibe. The service was incredible. The waiter, who might also be the owner, was so friendly and welcoming. He made the whole experience feel personal, like you were being hosted in someone's home rather than just eating at a restaurant. Since it was my birthday, we went a little overboard with the ordering. I had to pace myself because I honestly wanted to devour everything that came to the table. The portions are generous and every dish we tried was great. The mozzarella in carozza was easily one of the most indulgent things I have ever eaten. It was rich, crispy, cheesy, and completely over the top in the best way. I thought that would be the highlight until the stuffed artichoke arrived. The stuffing was incredible and packed with flavor. I only wish the artichoke itself had a bit more flesh, but I would still order it again without hesitation! The entrees were just as satisfying. The chicken parm was excellent, but by that point we had already gone too hard on the appetizers, so most of the mains ended up coming home with us. Even though we were all stuffed, I made sure to save room for dessert. The ricotta cheesecake was absolutely worth it! It had subtle hints of lemon and the texture was light and creamy. I will probably be thinking about that cheesecake for a while. Overall, Ortobello checked every box. The atmosphere, the food, and the hospitality were all fantastic. I will definitely be back!!!

We were greeted and brought to a nice table in the back for some added privacy. For our meal, I selected Thai iced tea for everyone, as they have never tried this Thai cuisine staple before. Unfortunately, this place does not have Boba to add, which would be a constructive suggestion for them. Appetizers included the sampler platter and the Tom Kha Guy soup. Was delicious and a nice introduction to the types of foods from this country! For entrees, we enjoyed pad Thai with chicken and a spicy fried rice with crispy pork. We were all drooling over how perfectly fried the pork was. As with most Thai restaurants, we were asked how spicy we would like are food on a scale of one to four, and the spice levels were accurately translated to the food.
