Pick it up at Aldi in a fraction of the time. I have found several items at Aldi that I go there specifically to pick up, such as their "fresh, never frozen" salmon, the cracker cut cheddar and Gouda cheese, the hothouse cucumbers ( always under a dollar), the ground chicken which is half the price t Winco. And the seasonal products are fun to browse rough, especially at Christmas when they bring in European chocolates and cookies. It isn't full service, but it has some terrific offerings. A friend swears that their frozen cod fillets make the best fried fish (and chips) than anything you can get at a restaurant. She goes there for the cod and the chayote, which is always the cheapest in town, when they have it! As for the employees, I have always found them when I needed them, and they have always assisted me. As for self-checkout, easy, quick, and when I make a mistake, the employee at the register fixes it without me asking.
