    Vinyls for sale.

This is a really cool spot to grab a drink. We came here the weekend of Thanksgiving and there was a dj spinning vinyls. The vinyls were also for sale too. I loved the vibe of the music. They do not offer food to purchase, but there are complimentary snacks and water. You can also order from a nearby restaurant and eat your food in the bar. There are menus of local places and some will bring the food to you. I enjoyed a couple hard seltzers and I will definitely return when I am in the area.

Surprisingly the best aspects of Barrelhouse are not their beers but their live entertainment and occasional food trucks. Parking isn't the greatest as it's shared with other popular establishments. It's not too hard to find parking in the afternoon but they're packed when musicians start performing. The menus are displayed clearly on the screen and they most notably have a recurring beer slushie. The beers don't rotate often and consist mostly of pale ales and IPAs. The pours are good and most are offered as a taster, pint and growler. I would love to see pitchers being an option as many groups come in but that's not currently on the menu. The service is minimal and I've always had middling interactions. I wouldn't expect too much warmth or fun vibes from the staff. There are occasional food trucks in the back and the options are often tasty. There are also games for kids and adults to participate in alike. Barrelhouse has good music and ambiance on a regular basis although the staff doesn't seem to contribute to the vibes. Hopefully Barrelhouse can join the other breweries in serving pitchers.

We were visiting from out of town and thought we were at BarrelHouse Brewing, which we had read about online. Unfortunately, we were at Stacked, and wow, what a difference a couple of feet make. Once we realized where we were, we moved to Barrelhouse, which was much different with a relaxed atmosphere, an incredible band, Bohareggae, and a really good oatmeal stout. A lot of people, but not too crowded for a Friday night.

So this is a cool place, but if you're not a regular don't expect anything special. I come here probably monthly; I appreciate that it is pretty chill and the servers are nice. However, if you are not a REGULAR don't expect any kind of real support or help or treatment. I saw they were advertising Oktoberfest, so for my birthday, I invited my family. I got here at 11 and bought a commemorative boot stein, and drank away. Brought board games to do with my family. I wanted to buy a big stein, but they were saving them for a competition. No problem! I asked the bartender and she said I could buy it IF I did the competition, so I did. So did my brother-in-law, who won! Afterwards, both she and the bearded bartender-supervisor-leader? guy said they couldn't sell it because of another competition, so it's cool. Imagine my surprise to see them selling those steins not fifteen minutes later. So I came and asked to try to get one, and watched as they sold them to regulars they know, shaking hands and laughing. I got to the bar, and they said "sorry, we sold out." I said I was waiting and they kind of shrugged. One nice bartender apologized for the misunderstanding. Anyways I just sucked it up and went to my table, and then choked on sadness as I saw them sell TWO MORE of the steins to people - either regulars or friends of the bartender who got it and handshakes and went off enjoying their big stein I had been desperately trying to buy all day. I guess my review is this: Good beer, chill atmosphere, but if you're not a regular you're not that important. I guess it's fair, just a bummer.

Cute place! Set up is nice. Good variety of beer. I tried the strawberry blonde they have. Amazing! They had food in the outside area. I didn't try it out, but smelled great. I definitely would recommend & return.

A great brewery off Main Street Visalia... Amazing tap selection, a little bit of everything for everyone. The staff was great, very helpful and friendly. They actually don't serve food, but had a food cart on the back patio area and they did let us bring in burgers from next door. The brewery is dog friendly on a leash. Even gave our a small biscuit. A must try for good .

BarrelHouse is my favorite brewery to visit just not this location. Parking is not great here as it's all on the street and for the ladies I doubt this is someplace I'd want to park at night. We had to park two blocks away on a Monday afternoon. Once your inside it's a typical BarrelHouse styling but this location does have pinball which I haven't seen at the other locations. The beer here is great but service at this location was very poor as it was understaffed and could tell the one guy working was burned out. With one person in front of me it took 15 minutes to get our delicious beverages. If your a BarrelHouse fan like we my order of preference is Paso Robles, Fresno, San Luis Obisbo, and then Visalia. This location has a lot of potential if they could staff it and possibly do something about parking situation.

Love this place. The staff are friendly and enhancing. Food is not served here but! You are allowed to bring in food from another location. This establishment strictly serves beer and beer only. There are vendors that do park in the back and serve food on some nights. The decor feel this place gives is modern local country tavern / barn house / kick back spot. This is a family friendly bar so don't be shocked to see some offspring running around lol. But it's all and good taste and fun. Choose your favorite beer or flight of beers and kick back and enjoy the Barrelhouse Brewery experience. The backyard is cool too :0). I highly recommend! And I will be back!

Always a nice treat for a visiting foreigner who thinks Americans don't like soccer. Only thing is they are pretty stingy about tasting beer, like do you really think 8 people showed up to waste your time and not buy anything? Idk that's just me, I've been to loads of breweries where you can taste 2-3 beers especially if it's your first time visiting, and no one bats an eye. Here I like the Martillo and the Breakaway. Food is usually great, they do a rotation of local food trucks and catering companies most often tacos but I've seen pizza or ice cream. The doors are wide open, you're basically in a metal oven with limited insulation, though they clearly tried their best it's still the valley... the coolest spots are more central where they have Big Ass swamp coolers running. If you come with old people they won't be able to hear sitting right next to them. Everything is clean an orderly, looks well-managed. Caters to a crowd that already has kids probably ages 35-40, I think the owners can probably try some ideas to bring in young people in the sub-30 range and more groups of singles. Club offers adult and kid sports and that works well, there's a nice sense of community going and you can also watch games on any of the large TVs. Mix of games on usually soccer even the random foreign league you've never heard of (not just Premier or UEFA).

Three campers stopped at Sequoia Brewing in Visalia during the drive home from Sequoia and Kings…read moreCanyon National Parks on June 3rd. The running water in the bathroom was well appreciated. The campers ordered three beers and the Gilroy pizza (chicken, feta, tomato, artichoke hearts). They rotated the three beers until each guest tried a sip of each beer and concluded all three beers were excellent! Then the plates arrived, one dirty with food residue. While the campers did not expect to have cleaner dishes at their campsite than at a restaurant with running water, they understood that sometimes automatic dishwashers don't get all food residue off 100% of the time, and sometimes waiters forget to visually inspect the plates they serve for foreign object debris. Next, the pizza arrived with chicken, feta, tomato, and mushrooms?! Now the campers specifically choose the Gilroy pizza for the artichoke hearts and avoided the Flame Grilled Pesto Pizza due to its mushrooms. Immediately upon serving the pie, one camper asked if the right pizza arrived. The half-conscious waiter lied, assuring the correct pizza was served. However, the campers were hungry and in a hurry to drive back home. Nevertheless one reviewed the menu and confirmed that the pizza order is wrong due to the mushroom for artichoke heart switcharoo. This camper told the waiter, who then kindly offered to make the correct pie to remedy the situation, without apologizing for gaslighting the campers earlier while displaying a total lack of awareness for the toppings on the Gilroy pizza. The campers politely declined due to the time required to bake another pizza, with a desire to arrive home quickly, and ate the pizza that was served. Normally, a waiter with a shred of emotional intelligence would offer a free dessert or waive the cost of one of the three beers the campers ordered to remedy the dishonesty, disgusting dishes, and disorganized delivery of delicious, but different than desired, edibles. Instead, the campers paid their full tab and generously compensated the waiter with an industry standard gratuity. The quality of the pizza was delicious: both the toppings and the crust. The owners and brewmasters did an excellent job providing delicious nourishments and liquids while the manager is failing them by not holding the staff accountable to the very basics: clean dishes and correct food orders. The campers had a simple order without substitutions, meaning only the most incompetent staff could find a way to screw it up. Five stars for taste but the service downgrades this review to four. Update (to the owner who replied) why would I go back when you haven't offered any remedy?

Drinks were always made strong and the servers were pleasant although the food always took forever to come out. The food always tasted frozen and oily. The health score should have deterred us and we were always met with sticky tables and glasses. *Three Rivers Mojito: could have used more mint but boy was the rum pour heavy. The lime taste was strong and I would have like more strawberry puree. *Pretty In Pink: fruity and sour with a strong alcoholic finish. I wanted more of a elderflower and hibiscus flavor but the prominent raspberry taste was still good. *Watermelon Vodka: slightly artificial but wow was the vodka heavy. Despite ordering this during happy hour, the pour was generous and the glass was massive. *Fried Pickles: the batter was incredibly thick and it wasn't cooked through. I literally had to peel off the doughy exterior to enjoy the classic pickle. This item needed more time in the fryer and the batter recipe should be revised. *Potstickers: the only decent food item. This was most likely frozen given the perfectly identical creases but it was steamed properly. The dipping sauce was flavorful and vinegary. *Fish and Chips: suffered from the same thick and flavorless batter. The fries were alright, salty and crispy. The cod was tough and rubbery. I mostly ate the fries with the tartar sauce and ranch and left the fish alone. Sequoia Brewing, your cheap drinks will be missed but pretty much nothing else.
