She used her "Best" shipper and I paid her in-full at the amount she required. Our horse was to be trained with Pet Partners for a therapy horse. We named him Teddy, even before he arrived! Teddy arrived severely lame. At day 4 I called the vet. I videotaped him on arrival and Laureen admitted he was lame when she put him on the trailer and said his feet had just been trimmed so that was the reason. I've had him for 7 weeks now and he cannot walk. He is very, very sick. I've had 2 farriers out and 2 vets. We are still working to find a diagnosis. I've been in constant contact with the owner of this company, Laureen Stevens. She has been supportive and kind until I asked for a full refund for the horse that was delivered lame and sick! She sold him to me very cheap because she stated that people do not like that he has no color. I was asking for $650.00 back in total to help with the vet bills. So far I have spent more than 1500.00$ in vet bills and will have another vet out next week. In total I've spend more than 2k on this little horse due to his illness upon arrival. Please DO NOT MAKE the mistake I made. I SHOULD never have trusted the business practices and the owner Laureen Stevens of Toyland Falabella International Miniature Horses.

She said it would be a good horse for my lesson program. The horse was amazing, rode the same every time out, anyone can ride it, but that the mare did "Paw a little bit when left alone". WOW WAS THAT THE UNDERSTATEMENT OF THE YEAR. This horse is totally insane and unstable. She kicks when you try to pick her feet up. She rears and breaks fences when tied up even if she can see other horses. She screams her head off while your trying to work with her, constantly neighing at all near by horses. I had hoped maybe she just needed time but it has been over 2 months now and she's just as nutzo as the day we brought her home. Heartbroken is not a big enough term. I have so many kids that were so excited about this new horse and now they wont be able ride. I only have room for a few horses and this animal is taking up space I don't have. And is totally unsalable. My students are afraid of her. All so Katy could make an extra $100 bucks off of me at an auction. She is just like all of those other horse flippers out there, willing to do ANYTHING to make a buck.

We bought a 16 year old Haflinger mare "Dolly" with a 3 month foal at her side from Katy in August…read moreof 2025 for pony rides at our orchard. We feel we paid a fair price. We are in love with this wonderful horse and colt. The colt is smart and beautiful. Half Gypsy Vanner. He catches on almost immediately to new things. Dolly is expecting again in July of 2026! She is gentle and sweet with the children on pony rides. Everything Katy told us was so. We know someone else who was happy with her Haflinger from Katy so that is why I contacted her. I would not recommend this place at all. They have no customer service skills. They come off very…read moreabrupt and try to turn it around and say your the one who is rude. We have gone their before with 2 dogs and both times there was a run around about not having one of our dog's vet information (when clearly they had it because they would have not performed any past services if they had not) and very quick to tell us than we need to cancel the upcoming appt. without wanting giving us a chance to call back with the update information required. When I called back to let to ask them what their email address was so that I could resend it (again) and asked them to have their paperwork updated so we wouldn't continue the same issues, they got very defensive saying that it was me who was rude. The conversation did escalate and I am so happy that we are now going to another place. As much as we would like to support small businesses, the downside is this place feels like they can treat people anyway they like. My mother says the older lady is nice, but the young one who I had the displeasure of speaking too is very snotty! It's a shame the dog in question has been there at least twice within one year and they give us a hard time each time because they for whatever reason are not up to date with how they file their records. Bottomline there are too many groomers out there and in MY past experience I have always had a great experience with groomers, pet lovers are usually so nice....oh well this is on them for me writing this review. I have an appt. tomorrow @ 7am for another groomer. made the call, they asked if they were up to date on shots...yes they are...please bring with you when you bring the dogs in. Boom! Done......
