Midway through my mole treatments I was very unhappy bc I learned what I had was not moles but grubs. They destroyed my yard along w skunks coming out and making holes all over yard trying to get to the grubs. I wasted hundreds of dollars on treatments that weren't needed. I spoke to Landon over the phone about this and found him unsympathetic and rude. I did however, speak at length w the boss, JP who was very nice and tried to rectify my issue. I am not able to get any $ back but NW will be coming to the house to help with a 1 time treatment for mice at no cost. I have yet to see if this works read more

The service tech that came out to our home was very condescending and tried selling us a plan that was way more than what we would need.

Natures way has excellent communications. They remind us a day in advance of when they are coming. Garritt, our technician, is always cheerful and informative. He clearly has many years of experience, it shows. Garret explained the environmentally safe chemicals (plant extracts) that they used, and how they took into consideration our cat(s) safety. He also showed up his methodology on how he applies the spray, and how it says away from areas that people and pets normally touch. Within two treatments, our ant and other bug problems went away. They take care of our neighbors, and we took our neighbors recommendation - and hired Nature' Way. Yes, we will recommend Nature's Way Pest Control to others. read more

My wife and I paid for the company's relatively expensive, top-of-the-line installation of a seal-out along the perimeter of the foundation of the house. Not only were there a number gaps through which the mice were still invading the house following the installation (like birth-control, it's only effective if it's 100%), but we were being charged for subsequent visits by a technician who, himself, conceded that the seal-out that we received was supposed to be guaranteed. The visits were merely a means by which to continue feeding the mice so they'd continue to enter the house, so that we'd continue to be billed for service that we weren't supposed to need following the expensive seal-out; a vicious, perpetual cycle. This company cannot be relied upon or trusted. read more

I had been using Nature's Way for about a year before we sold our home and relocated just 100 yards away. The treatments themselves were good --I had no issues with the quality. However, when I informed Nature's Way of my move and requested to transfer my three remaining treatments, valued at around $600, to my new address 100 yards away, they refused, citing company policy. They suggested I should have transferred the treatment package as part of the house sale agreement. It seems unrealistic to expect negotiating over a $600 service during house sales discussions. Unlike utility, cable, insurance, or garbage collection bills, which can be canceled or adjusted when you move without incurring extra costs, cancelling services with Nature's Way meant losing a substantial sum of money. This "policy" feels more like a way to profit at the customer's expense. read more

I've been a customer for a long time and have posted positive reviews in the past but I'm Incredibly disappointed at the decline in customer service recently. This week was my third no call/ no show, 2 of which were done by a manager. Lots of back and forth empty promises with no follow through. Gentleman I spoke to on the phone couldn't have cared less. I didn't realize what a difference nature's way had made for me until I heard somebody at work talking about there ant problem the other day.. She said she was losing her mind because she's tried a 100 different things she picked up from the store and every time she thinks she has the problem over with it gets hot, cold, or something happens and they're back again. They go from 0 to 60 so It seems like they're eating your house right out from under you. Really wanted to like this company but sadly their service has not fixed the bugs and spiders in my house and the bait traps are not filled each time. If I am spending almost $80/month for treatment I don't expect to see bugs and spiders within 2 weeks of their treatment. read more

The folks at natures way pest control are fantastic. They are reliable and responsive and excellent, and taking care of our house.

We have had nothing but success with Nature's Way, and Peter our tech has been wonderful. We live in the woods so it's natural we'd have critters but the activity has been cut to nothing during the winter and spider control has been great during the warmer months. We had an ant problem at our rental property and Peter also covered that, knocking it out quickly and noticing other spots where they were getting in. Also safe for pets, which is important to us. Technician misdiagnosed and, subsequently, mistreated the problem: never sent a receipt, even if we asked for a detailed receipt of the work that had been done; problem reappeared two days later for which we contacted the office who promised they would ask the technician to get in touch with us (never happened). Sent multiple Emails. None were answered. Finally called our credit card company and told them we were disputing the charge. read more

Our service representative Tony is outstanding, courteous and goes above and beyond to answer our questions and concerns. We're sensitive to the products that are used to control pests. I have been pleased with company Had carpenter ants last spring. Came out, assessed situation and got rid of ants. Technicians have always been friendly and on time. We also addressed a mouse problem which comes and goes. I can still trap a mouse in the basement every couple of weeks. It's winter. They are persistent but not as bad as they were. I did not have the company seal the building. Office staff always called to let me know when Technicians were coming. read more

Scheduled an estimate for yellow jacket removal 9/8. Called NW first thing that AM to see if it could be changed to treatment, as the insects were boring through my ceiling. Recep said it would not be a problem, as all trucks were sent out job-ready. Tech arrived, assessed, but said he was not able to do the job that day as he didn't have his own truck with all the equipment. He made a couple of calls to (I assume) HQ, and came back to tell us that as he was unable to do the work Friday 9/1, someone would be out "first thing tomorrow AM" to take care of the nest. I would get a call to confirm. We didn't get a call the rest of the day Friday, so I called first thing Saturday AM. Office message says hours are Mon-Fri, leaving me a bit confused as to WHO was supposed to arrive Sat AM. I called multiple times, and tried extensions, no one answered. I received no call Saturday to confirm service to be done that day. I called again Mon 9/4 to find out why the issue was not addressed. Was told the tech (Scott) had never relayed ANY message to dispatch re: our house, or a treatment for 9/2. I wound up speaking to the owner, who needs some lessons in customer service. He said "sorry about the mixup" (3 days later?), and was completely dismissive of our concerns that we were told by HIS tech that our home WOULD be treated 9/2-I've got yellow jackets coming in thru my ceiling!! Owner said he's not responsible for promises made by tech-yet the tech represents HIS company..??? Overall, he was simply a rude little man. I'm so happy he informed me that he has more business than he can handle, he won't get mine. And then today 9/7 - a WEEK later, I get an email estimate for service. Hired them because they are a local company. Their employee hit my brand new truck in driveway and left without telling me. NYSP investigated and issued 2 tickets, 1 for leaving the scene of an accident, a hit and run. Truck had over $3000 damage. I have not received an apology from them yet. Let me start by saying that the receptionist that I spoke to was very nice and tried to be helpful. I called to schedule a morning appointment and their computer was down. She went to check on morning appointments and said that someone could come out thursday, she just couldn't give me an exact time. I offered to call back when the computers were working but she said that we were all set. Didn't hear from them the next day. Thursday morning I called to get an approximate time. She said she didn't know, but later this afternoon when he had finished his other appointments. I explained that I had scheduled a morning appointment. She told me I could reschedule for Monday or call back at noon to get an ETA. I opted for the noon check and. My husband called at noon. Receptionist said that she would call him and call us back. 1:30, no call back. I call, he hasn't checked in. Let me call him and get back to you. At 4:00, I called again. Receptionist had no idea who I was, same one I had spoken to before. Oh, he hasn't called us back. I told her that I had stayed up all day and now I needed to go to bed. (I work nights. This was WAY past my bedtime, and I had explained that twice before. ) I am very sorry. I will call him and tell him not to go to your house. No offer to reschedule at all. I got the distinct impression that he wouldn't have shown up if I hadn't canceled. read more

can't speak to their service as they never showed up. It took me several days to get an appointment for termites. i explained my time restrictions for the date they gave me....I had another appointment elsewhere at 1:00 I was told to call back the day prior to the appointment for a time, which I did. I was told my appointment time was 1:00. when I again explained the situation and the timing conflict I was told by the manager someone would be here between 9-10. it is now 1130, I called again for ETA was told "he has a very heavy schedule and is working his way to you" no time estimate. I'm not demanding but need for my time to also be respected. If they couldn't be here when promised we could have scheduled for another day. I've now been in a holding pattern for a week and have to start over while the termites are feasting on my house. Not a good experience for me! Would not recommend unless you don't mind sitting around waiting. read more

Nature's Way technician called ahead of time to make certain that I was available for the scheduled service call. Upon arrival the technician was professional and discussed the service that would be provided. They were very attentive and thorough. There was some uncertainty as to what "level" of service I was eligible for, but the technician addressed an indoor carpenter ant concern that I had in any case. The indoor dusting had been provided in the past and, for the price, I figure there should be no question about this. Otherwise I would give Nature's Way a perfect score for this service visit and I would recommend them to anyone. read more

Today Ryan came to my house to treat for what I now know are called boxelder bugs. There were easily a zillion of them and some were getting inside. He was friendly, polite, professional and very nice to my furry family even though my older dog barked like a butthead the whole time. He was thorough with the treatment inside and out. I'm pleasantly surprised at how it didn't smell like chemicals or leave any visible residue on or in my house. I am 100% going to continue using Nature's Way. Thank you Ryan! read more

We have been using this company for several years to deal with multiple ant and rodent issues. They have been responsive to our needs, and have helpful and knowledgeable staff. We especially like the fact that they use a lot of natural products, and the best part is that they work. After the problems were taken care of, they have done a great job of preventing new issues. Horrible waste of money. Paid them three times to come exterminate fleas, nothing they did had any effect. When I called to complain that we had spent almost $500 over two months and no results they told me "You are out of the warranty period." I asked how we could be out of warranty since they never got rid of the fleas, they said that was how they did it. Also very poor communication from them. read more

After over two years of treatments and over $2,000.00 later, Nature's Way Pest Control did not get rid of our clothes moth problem. Towards the end of the two years, they stopped calling to schedule appointments each month and to this day (over a year ago), they have not contacted us after promising to get rid of our infestation (per their contract). Our tech told us that the company "got rid" of the customers our way (Amsterdam, NY) because it wasn't worth the trip for the company. I guess this is why they just decided to drop us and not call to schedule appointments anymore. Many of the techs were unprofessional telling us how high of a turnover rate their company had. We have done a much better job ourselves finding where the infestation started and remediating the problem. We bought a year's supply of the product they used (on Amazon) for less than it would cost us for a single month's treatment by Nature's Way Pest Control. (Covering the ENTIRE house, not just random places that they would spray sparingly.) Save your money and stay FAR away from this company! read more

This company has VERY poor communication...they came out once for an estimate and NEVER got back to me...I called them everyday for 3 weeks straight and still no answer. I finally talked to the supervisor who promised it would be taken care of and they still didn't show! I do not recommend this company to anyone! They took my money and refused to refund me! Their scheduling sucks! I had a huge problem that needed to be taken care of ASAP, I was sleeping with my children for a about a month in my living room because they forgot about us. I can not understand bad reviews for this Company. I have been using Natures Way Pest Control for years and they are always immediate in their response to whatever the pest needs are. At our Adirondack Cabin we had a large bald face hornet nest way up on top of our chimney. I called for an appointment on Friday near closing and they promtply scheduled Heathe to service this problem today, Monday. Took care of it right away! In the pouring rain, Heathe had all the equipment necessary to treat this from the ground to saturate, knock it down and destroy it ... a great job! In addition, this company uses effective 'natural' products and remedies rather than using toxic, poisonous chemicals all over the inside and outside of your home. The only pest control company you need to know ... they are simply the best! read more
