Naughty Buddha Burger Bar is located in the Telegraph district, right next to 402 Creamery. Naughty Buddha is a vegan restaurant, and my husband and I aren't vegan, but after walking by a handful of times we couldn't resist trying it on one of our rare date nights. We both LOVED it. My husband ordered the fire dragon wrap which came with a side of tsunami salad. The wrap was huge and FULL of flavor, the tortilla was grilled which was a nice touch. I ordered the naughty Buddha burger, which is a little spicy, and the bajan rice. I could eat that rice every day and not get sick of it, it's that good. I enjoyed my burger, but my husband and I both agreed that we preferred his wrap. Both of our meals were served with lollipops. Despite being a small restaurant there was plenty of seating, and the Telegraph district has a nice sized parking area so parking was easy too. The only downer is that my kids are pretty picky eaters, and there isn't much on this menu that would appeal to them (except on Saturdays when they serve vegan macaroni and cheese), so we will have to order our food to-go until we get another kid free night. read more

Preface to my review: I'm not vegan, I eat everything. I wanted to try this place because I like to support local. The fact that these guys expanded from Omaha tells me they've got something good to offer. The burger: and l was stunned. I think I'd prefer the naughty burger over an Honest Abe's burger (and I love me some Honest Abe's). 1. I still just can't wrap my mind around the impossible burger... how is that not meat? 2. The burger is packed with flavor and good stuff. I ate every last bite, licked my fingers, and was full but didn't feel awful. So that's rad. 3. The toppings on the burger were perfection. 4. The rice has lots of textural and flavor elements - and it worked! But it was a tad sweet for me and I think I'd go with that beautiful side salad next time instead. read more

The best vegan un chick sandwich I've ever had!! The sides are also super delicious.. especially the green tea rice! Be prepared to wait for 20+ minutes waiting for your food, cause they curate everything so beautifully and make everything fresh and there's usually one or two people working at a time every time I've been. Delicious food! I got the buddahlicious burger with a curry soup as my side. The burger is the best non-impossible burger patty I've ever had. The soup was incredible and has been on my mind for the past month. I liked being able to sit outside and the food arrived tableside without a long wait. Conflicted about Naughty Buddha Burger. The food was at least as good as Modern Love in Omaha. BUT. it took 1 hours, 50 minutes from the time we paid to the time we got our food. Literally. It wasn't busy, either. There was a single guy and a family ahead of us. Both also waited basically the same length of time. We checked in twice to see what was going on. No apologies. There were two people behind the counter, and they were moving slow. Very, very slow. It's one thing if they had told us the food was going to take that long, but they didn't not. It would be difficult for me to come here again, which is a shame, because the food really is quite amazing. But an almost two-hour wait is frankly just unacceptable. read more

The food is delicious, but...the wait time was ridiculous (almost an hour for lunch, not busy)...and it was $60 for 2 sandwiches and 2 canned drinks!!! Plus, we were never brought water. The other people in the restaurant with us got water after waiting more than half an hour after ordering. The chicken sandwich was very tasty, and the ginger love salad was delish. I've been to this location twice and love the food. I'd recommend it. Although both visits had an unreasonable wait time for your food. First of all, I walked in and it was exceptionally hot in there. It was a nice cool breezy day outside and the heat hit me in the face when I walked in. I asked if they felt it was hot and she responded with, "we have a few fans on". It just wasn't doing the trick. My main grip on this visit was the wait time. I got a coffee at the mill next door so I looked at my receipt to gauge how long I was waiting. I got a coffee at 10:36am. I remember there was a long wait last time so I figured I'd stop in for an early lunch. Both times I was the only one in there. This time, I ordered right away and was attempting to stand next to the open beverage cooler to stay cool. She was preparing my meal and some other people walked in. She addressed them and asked if it was their first time. Then she gave them a long spiel on the details of the menu. I looked behind the counter and literally my wrap was sitting there waiting to be cut and packaged. She continued to take the new customers order and they were so chatty, the new customer literally took a seat at the register to chat. A worker from the back came out so I said I was in a bit of a hurry and was wondering if he could package my meal sitting there. He cut it and put it in the box with the salad she had already made and handed it to me. It was 11:47 when I left and looked at my phone. A full hour!! Yum!!!!!! They have such an intriguing menu, with a lot of options! I want to try them all! I am gluten free and could have just about everything on their menu with a bun-sub. The sauces are so good, just all of the flavors are amazing. Being healthy is just an added bonus. I wish I could eat here every single lunch. We tried the bamboo green tea rice, which was absolutely amazing, highly recommend. We also tried the Ginger Love, which is a side salad with pickled ginger, green apples, cucumber and kale. If you love ginger I absolutely recommend this. Made perfectly. For the burgers I had the Buddhalicious burger which was messy but SO GOOD. I would recommend asking for more napkins. Also, the water is the best in town. They give you a beautiful carafe filled with mint, cucumber, lemon, and strawberry. I've never wanted to drink so much water. read more

They gave me five stars but I give the Naughty Buddha BurgerBar 6 stars. As a decade long vegan this is truly the best quality burger I'v ever had. The staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable. I would even be proud to bring my Step Dad who is one of the toughest critics to any vegan food as this might very well convert him. The atmosphere is super neat and has a unique touch with lots of healthy plants and art. It was worth the two day drive from NC and will be looking forward to my next visit, probably within a few hours! It's one of the greatest homemade burgers I've ever had. I had lunch today. Food very good. I am not a vegetarian or vegan, but thought I would check it out. I had a chicken wrap with a side salad, and surprised how fresh and tasty lunch was once it finally was served. Unfortunately the wait was too long for lunch. I almost missed an appointment at work due to delay. I cannot remember such a long wait somewhere else. It was not crowded, just took a long time. They need to get the issues resolved that create the delay, or if not resolved I won't be going back because I work and I have to get back to work in a reasonable time. DO NOT GO THERE The food taste nasty, the burgers are not good they are thin and fall apart and taste like straight tree bark. The only thing that taste ok is the watermelon salad. When I ordered two Niger's it took half an hour.
