Wonderful place to go for a drink! Today I had their lychee mule and wow I could have drank 3 more! This had a strong lychee and rose flavor which is hard to do without being overpowering. I had their jalapeño and spinach artichoke dip which was great! Had a good kick to it but still very creamy. Would come back again. read more

Came here for Wagyu Wednesday after work and it wasn't too busy at around 6:00. I ordered the dragon fruit mule and it was sweet with a hint of ginger. It came with a slice of dried dragon fruit as a garnish. The burger was pretty hefty, two smash patties. I added lettuce, pickle, and onion for $1, worth it because the burger and cheese alone is pretty salty, so the other stuff balances it out a bit. The fries were nice and crispy and salty as well. Totally worth the price, I think. read more

The Copper Kettle is the perfect switch up on/near O street. It sets itself apart from nearby bars because of their specialization on Moscow Mules and through the ambiance of the spot. It's a much more chill and slightly more upscale spot to grab a drink than nearby bars. The mellow vibes are enhanced through the service keeping things very laid back and enjoyable. The mules are always great, I've tried a few different flavors and enjoy all of them. Their light snacks are also perfect for a happy hour or hold over before going somewhere else. read more

We had the carne asada nachos and two tacos each. The nachos were tremendous! The tacos were good too, and in total, plenty of food for the two of us. I also had a classic mule and it was very good too. Everyone raves about the specialty mules but the classic was on point. Prices were reasonable. Service was fine. My only real complaint is Nebraska volleyball was on (which doesn't bother me) but it was really loud... so, even though it was mostly empty, conversation was still really hard. Let me summarize it this way - it's either a college town cocktail bar grown up/classed up a little, or a classy cocktail bar given the college town treatment. Very nice, good food, good price, good service... Deserves to be 4 1/2 stars if that was an option. read more

So many mules! The paradox of choice had taken its grasp, but thankfully the bartender was quick with advice: "You can't go wrong with the Big Red." He was 100% correct! Had a great stop at copper kettle while in Lincoln. It was our last stop of the night, but it was dead when we got there around 8:00. Love the variety of the mules on their menu! I got the cucumber lime and it was everything I wanted it to be. Service was good. No complaints here. I would imagine it gets VERY noisy when busy. read more

The ambiance of old-school bar/lounge with soft pop/rock was welcoming. With only a couple tables occupied, it was open seating. I ordered a mule (you kind of have to) and received my Spiced Pear Mule in minutes. It was delicious! Being Wednesday night, I ordered the Waygu burger with crispy bacon and kettle sauce. It came out in a reasonable time, was well cooked with crispy bacon (that doesn't always happen even when you ask) along with a healthy portion of seasoned fries and kettle queso for dipping. Honestly, for what you get the quality is great. And we always try to support the small local businesses in our community. I've had a bunch of mules with friends and everyone has always been pleased. The food options are also pretty impressive even though the menu is rather limited. The weekly specials are a highlight and often executed extremely well. The disappointment is always the price compared to the quantity, quality or service. The mules are expensive, but you're at a mule bar so that should be expected. The portions of what you order is always on the small side. When fish and chips are the $12 special, you expect maybe more than 1 medium piece of fish? The service is just wonky, pleasant in person but often misses things in your order or just won't respond to direct messages on social media asking if they offer take out during the pandemic. Most of this wouldn't be a huge deal in isolation, but fixing them would definitely push this place from good to great. read more

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!! Don't go here!!! We were staying at an Airbnb (for my husband's birthday) near this restaurant and decided to give it a try since it had such great reviews... Absolutely regret it. We paid almost $70 for two burgers that were cooked RARE (not what we wanted), a soda, 12 wings (which were horrible and had none of the requested sauce/seasoning on them. They were naked) and some fries. The fries were the only part of the meal that were edible. Absolutely disappointed and I will never return. read more

Great place to try different Mule-style cocktails! I have been here twice now and have enjoyed every cocktail I have tried. You would think that requiring every cocktail to have ginger beer would stymie their creativity, but the Copper Kettle pulls it off. The cocktail prices are also quite reasonable for what you get. The food here is top notch, the drinks are great, the huge menu of mules is unrivaled. I would recommend Copper Kettle as a restaurant very highly. However, we had them cater our wedding and that left quite a bit to be desired. They arrived 30 minutes late and while the food was really good, they ran out of food for our guests - which is troubling since fewer people stayed for dinner than we had accounted for. They did comp us $170 for the missed meals but it's a little embarrassing to run out of food for guests. We did really hit it off with Adam but communication was sparse throughout the process and made us feel a little uneasy through the planning. Love the restaurant, love the food, didn't love the catering. read more

The Copper Kettle is a more sophisticated, chill spot in the midst of 'O' St. and all the college bars. When I have visited, the crowd skewed mostly younger (35 and younger) the past few times I've been, but there are definitely a few outliers. The interior is trendy and contemporary with seating options to accommodate everything from two people to a large group (it seems like a group of 10-15 come in every time I am there). The part you want to know about: the mules! This is the most extensive mule menu I've ever seen (which makes sense as a mule bar). I've had the Classic, the Garden, the jalapeno mule, and a tropical/pineapple flavored mule (blanking on the name now). All of the mules were incredibly smooth with unique flavor notes. Beware: it seems these drinks are so carefully crafted and use such fine ingredients that it is very easy to slurp them down. They are refreshing, flavorful, and do not taste like alcohol. This has become a regular haunt for me. The only things I really hope for is that at some point they expand the space as the seating arrangements and layout of the bar are kind of strange. I don't know what was in this space before, but the layout reminds me of nice décor that's been thrown over what was an old Subway or something. Also, I hope they introduce a regular snack menu. I see on their Facebook they occasionally have food, but when I have been, that has not been the case. I would like to see some bar snacks regularly on the menu. Sexy little new bar. Clean, small menu but yummy food options with specials, an extensive Moscow mule menu (loved the one with jalapeño) and really good cocktails for Lincoln. This is a great place to have a romantic drink, meet a colleague, a small group or even to lay low with your bestie for a night. Patronize them! This place was amazing. We were searching for a restaurant to stop, eat and use the restroom and came across this one. We came here and they were open. The staff was very friendly and helpful and when I asked them if they had anything vegan, and they showed us the menu. I got the tofu with tempei taco and it was so delicious! Also, it was so wonderful that they were open during COVID 19. The bathrooms and restrooms were also very clean. I would definitely recommend coming here. read more

One of my favorite places in Lincoln to stop in for a drink. The decor is beautiful and modern. Service is always fast and the bartenders are super friendly. I have not tried the food, but the pomegranate moscow mule is to die for! My brother tried the Caribbean moscow mule which is also great if you love tropical flavors. I wish that there was Patio or outdoor seating of some kind especially because the space is small and seating is very limited. Nice place to relax for a treat after a long week at work. You have to put a $40 deposit on the copper cup, but it is released after you close out your tab. A bit pricey, but the flavor is exceptional. They really take the craft seriously. One thing I would change is that the few occasions I have been in there, the music was extremely loud. I had to ask them to turn it down at one point (it was early evening on a weekend and there were no other patrons). The place could have a chill, low key vibe without the loud music. If I want to go deaf, I will go to the Bourbon. As for the mules, A+. read more

Every visit seems to create another unforgettable memory. One of my clients' families especially loved kids' night, and it turned into such a fun and memorable experience for them. As for my own family, we've learned to schedule later dinner reservations because once we're there, it's hard to leave! Some of my sweetest memories are from bringing my mother here while she was still with us. We often ended up being the last ones there at closing because we were enjoying ourselves so much. Kevin and his staff were always incredibly gracious, never making us feel rushed, and consistently treating us like family. That kindness leaves a lasting impression. Reading some of the less-than-positive reviews honestly surprises me because our experience over the years has been consistently wonderful. We've always received excellent service, enjoyed the entertainment, appreciated the comfortable atmosphere and beautiful views from every table, and loved the nostalgia throughout the restaurant and memorabilia. And the food? Absolutely enjoyable every time. Considering the unique experience, atmosphere, entertainment, and very reasonable pricing, I think expectations should be balanced accordingly. Personally, I genuinely enjoy the food here -- often more than at many other restaurants in town. This place is special, and we will continue making memories here for years to come.

The eggs were fully cooked, no runny yolk like an eggs Benedict should have. The hollandaise sauce was lacking a ton, there wasn't enough and lacked flavor. The best thing was the bacon. The mimosa was refreshing. Entertainment however was 5 out of 5 stars. All employees seem to have the gift of beautiful angelic voices. Big personality and so much fun. The new location is huge. I'm excited to bring my toddler back here for Disney nights and try something different from the menu.

We were approached at a point that bordered on harassment by the young, naive waiter--incessantly interrupting our conversation in one of the tiniest, intimate public lounges in NE. Awareness was severely lacking. The bathroom is now unspeakably stinky and dirty, reeking of urine. The tiny hand washing area is tattered and dirty, trash was spilling over the edge of the can. It's fast becoming a shell of its former self. What a sad thing. Perhaps the other room is owned by someone new?
