She contacted me, advising me of the situation and told me what she thought the problem was. She made an appointment with my vet and while there, conferenced me in so we could all discuss the situation (BTW: her diagnosis was correct). She got Lucky on meds and watched him. She sent me pictures and fussed over my little guy so he wouldn't be scared. By the time I could get home, he was on the mend. She even contacted me days later to check up on him. The notes and helpful tips she left with me were amazing. And while this was all happening, she was also able to monitor my other lil dude's eating, to make sure he ate all his food (and she sent me pictures when he cleaned his plate!). I originally chose Bat Country because of their qualifications - they are well versed in animal medical issues and are certified in animal CPR. My lil guys are getting older and more complicated. Both of them need medications, and I needed to know that my pet sitters could handle things like that. If you want pet sitters who will treat your pets as their own, who are knowledgeable, professional and caring, you want Bat Country. They are totally committed to your little fuzzies. I highly recommend tales of mischief for any of your grooming needs. You do need to leave your kitty for 3-5 hours so that they can give the kitty breaks from the stressful experience and they only take cash or a check, so be prepared.

Her staff went ahead to add it to my bill anyway and wouldn't remove it when I asked them to. I had to decline it firmly several times before I could get them to remove it from my bill. They laughed at me directly to my face and made me wait over 30 minutes longer for this to happen. Several times they would say passive aggressively, "It's for his cough". I said "yes I know that I'm going to try to find another option". Then they proceeded to get frustrated at me because they couldn't figure out how to use their system to take the steroid off my total bill. I was both confounded and fucking irritated at this point. Before that, crazy hysterical lady with tattoos had been so scared by my 5 pound chihuahua. He was just anxious because she had a really nervous energy and so he wouldn't let her touch him, only Dr Scott. She freaked out and left the room. Later on, this freak of nature decided to come back into the room to give me some dog training advice. My dog is a rescue and he is working on his habits everyday. How about you just do your job? With great difficulty, I finally was able to pay for their services and went on my way. I stopped for a moment to criticize them for such a horrible experience. This resulted in that heavy set receptionist threatening to call the cops on me. Presumptuous and aging in standards at best, racist at worst.
