First of all, I went to Petco to get a beta and a small tank with a filter. I got cute little toys to put in the tank for him, andconditioner. When I was there; no one ask to help my boyfriend and myself, so pick the best option on our own. Couple weeks later, we saw that our beta, started to get discolored. Visited the store to pick media to put in my tank thats currently cycling. Received a whole tour from David, showing me the nano fish they have in stock as I mentioned eventually wanting nano fish, as well as the plants they have. David was very knowledgeable and sounded very passionate which excited me! I described my tank and cycling process and he offered to test a water sample for me. Small fish store specializing in both saltwater and freshwater aquariums. Prices are very reasonable. I came in for Amano shrimp and they had small ones which did very well in my tank. It's a nice family run shop and the family is passionate and knowledgeable about fish keeping. read more

Good customer service. More importantly, healthy looking and seemingly well treated livestock! I got 10 ember tetras for a very reasonable price and they're all healthy and active, and doing well in my quarantine tank before they go in my main one. The only reason they don't get 5 stars is that their snail tank doesn't seem to get nearly the same love as their other tanks. Which...I sort of get, not a lot of people really care about snails and they're usually considered pests, but still. The gold mystery snail I got had a fair bit of pitting and wear on its shell, and seemed a little underfed, poor thing. It seems to be doing fine now. read more

There are very few fish. Many of the aquariums don't even have water. Not worth visiting. I asked if they we going out of business. But the man there said that they get the fish on Mondays. I know when a shop is waiting for more fish to add to their inventory. But, in this case there are no sign of having had a large inventory in the first place. I was disappointed. read more

I drive up from Mission Viejo on a regular basis. Not only do they have a great selection of rare fish, the owners go above and beyond to consult with you on any questions you have. He even responds to messages on IG pretty much 24/7 if you need any technical support or guidance. Prices are great as well. If you have a reef tank, don't go here. They have a very small selection of salt water fish. I asked for a price for a shrimp and was told a price of $79. This shrimp is normal sold for about $30. The guy was helpful and nice but its kind of overpriced in my opinion. I wanted to check it out since we moved closed by but we will not be going back. read more

First time here and I gotta say I think I found my go-to fish shop. I should've gotten his name but I think he was the owner. He answered all my questions regarding my new tank and gave tips and advice. From what I saw, the store has quite a variety of plants and hardscape material for those into aquascaping. On a side note they keep their betta fish in huge tanks!! So they definitely get my seal of approval for that because not many fish stores do that. read more

I came here looking for otos, but was disappointed to see that there were quite a few tanks with dead fish in them. One tank even had a fish skeleton floating in it, so how long had that been there? It was probably good that they didn't have what I was looking for, because they may not have been healthy fish.
