Update: I received a call back from the office within an hour of posting this and was able to get…read moremy labs scheduled! I appreciate the issue being addressed so quickly and wanted to update my note accordingly. Thank you! ---------------------------------- This review is not for Dr Paredez, who is honestly a wonderful doctor - but for his office. It is literally impossible to get in touch with anyone there. I've tried calling multiple times throughout the day, waited on hold for 15+ minutes only for someone to pick up the phone and immediately hang up. I've tried leaving a message both on the phone and on their site - no response most of the time, occasionally a call back (roughly 1 out of 5-6 times). I was told the office would contact me to schedule labs but of course, nobody did, so now I am just waiting indefinitely. I rarely post Yelp reviews, but am so frustrated with the quality of care here that I have to look for alternatives and hope that enough such reviews will get the attention of the doctor and perhaps something will change eventually. I plan to look for alternate care- not because of the doctor (who is, again, wonderful) but because there is just no way to ever get in touch with anyone in this office.

Dr. Paradez is great! My gastroenterologist retired and I had a question. I got a telehealth appt for him to look at my records - and he said it was clear why my doctor had made the recommendation she did (even if in other circumstances, people normally need to come in for a colonoscopy). Great that he explained it so well and saved me having to get a procedure! And my husband had a very easy experience here with his. Great office & I'll be back in a few years when I actually need to come in!

Dr. Lee is caring, professional, thorough and follows through with tests and lab work. He…read morecommunicates in a way that a non clinical person can understand. If you don't get it, ask him again. Be nice, doctors are humans too and appreciate a collaborative dialogue with patients. Tips: To get a good consultation with any specialist: You need to get your medical records from the hospital or facilities. Get your test results for CT, MRI, blood work etc. Do not assume the doctor has it, call the office few days before your appointment and ask if it has been scanned to your chart. If not, bring your paper copies to your appointment. Do not leave it, but ok to have them copy for their files. This way, the doctor has some basic information as to what has already been done and ruled out. If you are told you have possible XYZ diagnosis: Google these and review the information on the signs and symptoms, what are standard tests and treatment. The best sites are the ones from universities or hospitals such as Mayo Clinic. When part of the recommendation is eat better (nutrition) and exercise, this does not mean you did not get a good consult. This is the best medicine and it is the hardest to do.

He stated he heard a heart murmur, referred me to cardiology w/o any abdominal exam, etc. With upper GI results I saw his PA, Amy. Same outcome. I believed they both entered with an agenda, minimized my input including significant history & did nothing of any therapeutic help. I am considering an avenue of complaint. I continue to experience debilitating pain, have inadequate medicine, emesis at least 3 mornings a week while difficulty swallowing supported by GI radiologic exam. I could not recommend this Dr or office.
