I applied to a position through Marcia and have been working with Candice. She's as nice as it gets. Other staffing agencies make me a feel like I'm one of the many they have to deal with and can't be bothered to return calls or emails. Not F.C.S. Since the beginning Candice has been available to call or email to describe the position and its requirements. I went in to meet Candice, filled out paperwork and had a lovely chat with her about a specific position. It wasn't like an interview, was super casual and relaxed (she called it a "dressed up conversation"). She has made me feel confident about the position and I couldn't be more grateful for her help, guidance, and feedback.

I get it, the staff deals with a regular community that may need extra guidance and patience, which gets repetitive, but there is absolutely no excuse for the patronizing tone and ice cold atmosphere. If you can't deal with the extra guidance and patience then GET ANOTHER JOB, I'll take your job. I was recommended to look into this by someone and when I jumped on their website site Wednesday evening, I saw they had a "Transitional employment opportunities", which is what I am looking for. They had orientation on Thursday morning, so I went. A few minutes into it, I learned that the "Transitional employment opportunities" were for "very rare cases" and they required a lot of steps before they would even consider if you would fall into that very rare case. I have all the other tools already. And they make no exceptions on skipping any steps. I asked for my sign-up sheet back and instead of maybe asking why, I was no longer interested, I saw up the nose of the staff. Without a "Sorry"..."Wish you the best" or even a "Bye" Again, extremely rude staff. So on top of the extremely rude staff, if you already have a resume and were just looking for help with transitional employment opportunities - I recommended staying clear of here, not worth your time. If you go, orientation is a good couple of hours. And they take your picture. So plan ahead.

I went there at 3:30pm today and the person at the reception desk said they are closed and there is…read morenothing he can help with, his name was Micah Harris, and told me to come back next morning. I was trying to use the computer there because I saw a person who is searching a job online with their system. Micah told me they are closing and I need to leave. Their office hour was 4pm and they need 30 minutes to close the office. That does not make sense. I do not think they service everyone in the same way. I even came back to my car and literally saw someone walking in to the door and I waited to if he also comes out with the same answer. However, the person was not coming out of the door, the time was 3:40pm when I left the office. I guess the workers need 30 minutes to close the office.
