They have a vast selection of marble, quartzite, granite, dolomite, etc. Nancy was just wonderful to work with! She took copious notes as we browsed and provided us with pricing and availability information. Once we found slabs that we were interested in, she arranged for them to be pulled out and displayed so that we could assess them. Overall I can't imagine the experience being better.

We went to A.G. Natural Stone in March after a previous stone company completely miscut our…read morecountertop and it had to be removed again. When we went to measure our new countertop, the owner, Adalberto, provided an excellent viewing opportunity and was very informative and flexible. The shaping of the stone at his warehouse was done fine and to our specifications. But the installation a couple weeks later was mediocre - there are relatively obvious seams where the counter pieces were mitered together. A previous counter was installed much better in that respect. Our BIG problem with A.G. Natural Stone, however, was that the counter was not sealed and Adalberto explicitly told us it was (twice). It soaked up grease like a sponge until we sealed it ourselves a month later, by which time we were quite distraught about our new kitchen. Imagine how you would feel after spending 10s of thousands of dollars on a new kitchen and being afraid to use it. Whole sections of the counter were on their way to being ruined within a couple weeks even though we could see no visible grease or other contaminant. Either he never sealed it or his sealant was so poor that it was more a grease sponge than a grease protector. When I called and asked about it, Adalberto reiterated that he sealed it and claimed that it was the nature of stone, even sealed, to soak up grease. THAT fast!? If grease spots appeared as fast as ours, stone countertops would unusable and they would be in virtually no kitchens in this country. So, to be blunt, he did not seal it. His casual response to our concern (which we stupidly believed) left us afraid to use our new kitchen! The last straw was when a used baggy (with no obvious oil on it or in it) was left on the counter for a mere 15 hours (from dinner until the next morning) and created a stain 6 inches across by the time I noticed it the next morning. So we decided another layer of sealant would at least help. But when we sealed it ourselves, just once, the grease stains stopped!! They did not simply happen less; they STOPPED. He or his crew never sealed the counter and then failed to double check the error when I reported a problem to him on the phone. If he had told us up front that his company did not seal stone and it was entirely the customer's responsibility, we would have been warned and things would have been very different and I would not be writing this negative review.
