I had a Nut fall off my 4 Wheel Drive!!! So I had to find a replacement!!! So I Checked my Yelp Application and Bay Bolt Popped Up. So I Rolled to Bay Bolt and I parked in their parking lot. I then Rolled In and waited patiently at the Front Counter!!! A Fastener Specialist came and asked if I had been helped? I explained that I needed a Replacement nut, washer and lock washer!!! He went out to my Vehicle and sized the Bolt and went and retrieved the nuts, washer and lock washer !!! We went out to my Vehicle to try the items out and they seem to be working fine!!! So I settled up and Rolled Out!!! Service was Friendly and Efficient!!! This is a Huge Warehouse loaded with Nuts and Bolts!!! Probably a Million type of Fastener's also !!!! I needed a couple bolts for my Camaro. Some odd sizes that had snapped so I wanted to upgrade them. Searched Autozone and Home Depot, found grade 8 bolts there after a hunt but not exactly the right size. Bay Bolt is a great old school fastener supply house. Probably 5 - 7K sf stacked almost to the roof with things to hold other things together. They do a lot of will call business it appears so don't be worried about walking in. They even take American Express! If you are looking for plain, non-plated fasteners this is probably the only place that will have any at all. This is a big deal for all you welders out there of course. Ditto for flat head machine screws bigger than maybe #12 or 1/4". Has making fasteners flush totally fallen out of practice? WTF? They also have Simpson Strong-Tie hardware and more Simpson fasteners than at the big orange depot. I'm saving that fifth star for a little better web-site but I'm not holding out a lot of hope for that. read more

I always call my order in 30 min-1 hour before I come to pick it up. But Every time I show up I have to wait 15-20 mins to get my order because they don't have it ready. Very frustrating when you're on a fixed work schedule. 90 % of the time it's pointless to place an order for will call if it not ready. read more

It's always the little things that get you. My cnc machine was skipping steps on the x axis. I was ultimately able to determine this was because a set screw had come loose in the pulley that moves the belt for that axis. It's an M3x5 socket head set screw. Super tiny, but can't run the machine without it. Went to 2 hardware stores and no dice, the 2nd guy referred me to "Bay Bolt". I never thought I'd leave a fastner supplier feeling happy and excited... But not only did they have the little tiny piece, they GAVE me a BAG of them for FREE. "We have a $5 minimum and this is less than $5 in parts, so just take them." Customer service isn't dead! Thanks Steve! read more

I was hoping to get a hard-to-find sheet metal screw from this company. I am a technical person and gave the fellow and exact description of the fastener in mm in every detail. He responding by saying, I'll need a description of it or you can bring it in. I re-described it and then he informs me that Bay Bolt doesn't have any of that type of fastener.
