However, the rides are really the only thing I have to say that's positive. Ride operations were poor at best. They take a long time to load and unload, with the only exceptions being Griffon and InvadR. The worst offender was Tempesto. In fact, the entire Festa Italia area had pretty poor operations, which is unfortunate since it has some of the best rides in the park. Tempesto is a very short ride, and in the time it took them just to load one train, it could have completed about eight cycles. I also found that Apollo's Chariot and Pantheon were pretty restrictive for larger riders. I'm not that big of a guy, and they had to squeeze me into both of them. (Also, there's a ride operator at Apollo's Chariot who will, without warning, shove the restraint into your thighs and is apparently not afraid to risk permanent damage to your future lineage.) I can't imagine having to push a wheelchair around this park. There are extremely steep hills everywhere. So if you're planning to visit and have a mobility disability, all I've got to say is: good luck. The food was kind of mid, with one exception: the pizza pretzel. That was actually pretty good. To sum it all up, if you only care about rides, this park is a great option. However, when it comes to literally everything else, it's pretty weak.

My only point of criticism is the lack of signage to get around. It's not intuitive, however, you can download the app and it will give walking directions. The "kiddie land" is Sesame Street-themed and also has a splash pad area and a playground. There is a themed show that takes place a few times a day in the splash pad area. There is a secondary "kiddie land" Land of the Dragons that features a large treehouse and rope nets along with a few rides. There are also kiddie rides scattered throughout the European areas too. My oldest and I rode the coasters he was tall enough for. Favorites were the new Verbolten , the Big Bad Wolf, and DarKoaster. The railway is a good way to get to other areas of the park. My oldest also loved Escape from Pompeii and my youngest loved le scoot. We definitely plan to return in the future.

Everyone was Polite, Professional and staff willingness to give directions if needed was appreciated Parking attendants was helpful, The park was clean and in order the rides was functional properly. And the staff for rides did a good job explaining what would happened before and after the ride ended. We seen all four shows talented dancers did a great job Engaging the audience and was very exciting . Staff helping to assist in and out of the shows also did a great job. Mascot was friendly and patient also. The Park will soon be closing I wish the best to all the employees Thank you for making this a memorable experience on my Mom and Daughter days out. 11/6/19 Shenandoah Log Flume  is my favorite water ride as a…read morekid; as well, as now. These kind of log rides no matter what name they are give are always fun and enjoyable   most people who don't like rollercoasters would enjoy these kinds of rides. As a kid on two separate occasions I found a toys of some sort that someone else dropped or forgotten in the boat.  I don't remember what the second toy was, but the first item I found on this ride was a switchblade knife made of plastic. I picked it up and cleaned it up with some napkins I had. I did a more thorough cleaning later on that day. I even found money in the boat too. It wasn't much, but $5 to $10 bucks was a lit to a kid back then. This ride is not a high level thrill ride. It is a laid back ride with two hills in it. One in the beginning to start the motion without the ocean. The second hill is at the end after the bend.  The rest of the trip is past a house, through the woods without grandma's house we go.   There is little to no chance of getting some water on you...except your backside when sit down in the boat. This ride us located in the woods just like my favorite rollercoaster  named The Grizzle...oh, for the record, it's not truly hidden in the woods anymore, but I will explain this later on. Shenandoah Log Flume  is a softcore ride for children who are becoming teens and teens who are becoming adults. Needless to say, this ride can help break you in... of course, I have seen people abandon ship at the top of the second hill. I have done it once just to see where the staff members go, when it's time for the changing of the guards. I had to abandon ship when the ride malfunctioned too. This was a disappointment, because I like this ride.  Shenandoah Log Flume is not the longest log ride I have been on, but is still fun. Splash Mountain (At Walt Disney World), Saw Mill Log Flume(At Six Flags Great Adventure), Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls (At Universal Studios) and Coal Cracker (At Hershey Park) are four fantastic log rides.There are other log rides out there, but you get the point.   A lady I know..wait,...no,....woman I know named Jasmine would have a blast on these rides. Why, because they are relaxing and the water rides are scenic.  Lady Jasmine of Canada would appreciate it. I look forwards to riding another one of these fantastic rides.

The airtime hill gives mild floater as well. The switchbacks after the fill give crazy whip. But the trim on the airtime cuts it. Then there are two more switchbacks and then hits the brakes. Also, I like the soft straps, don't judge me. I'm sad it lost the Dale Earnhardt theme, but that doesn't matter. It's still a amazing ride that I would totally recommend for Coaster Enthusiasts.

Dinosaur Land is a fabulous tourist attraction that could be in a Chevy Chase movie. Life size…read moredinosaur sculptures and a few other creatures fill the forest of this Shenandoah Valley wonder. Joseph Geraci started Dinosaur Land back in 1967. Thirty five of the original dinosaurs were created by James Sidwell, who was famous for his dinosaur replicas at the Field Museum in Chicago. Newer dinosaurs and creatures were crafted by Mark Cline, a local artist. I spoke with Geraci's granddaughter, who works in the gift shop. She explained that her grandfather passed away 40 years ago and her mother now owns the park. Four generations of Geraci's have worked at the park. Admission is $7 for kids under eleven and $9 for all others. Visitors can take photos up close with the dinosaurs and other creatures including a giant octopus. The self-guided tour takes 30-60 minutes. The park is open from March through December. The gift shop is filled with tee shirts, toy dinos, postcards, books, glassware and other souvenirs. Dinosaur Land is a fun place to take the kids or your favorite dinosaur enthusiast. The sculptures are amazing works of art.

11/1/19 One of the first blast of rollercoasters I have been…read moreon. I believe this is the first blast coaster I experienced. Since then, I have been on many other blast coasters. On 8 May 1999 I heard advertisements for The Joker's Jinx . I remember I didn't like the ads for the ride, but I knew I would certainly ride this ride. The day I went to the park, I rode many rides, because I know the line for this ride would be long no matter what time I went. When I finally arrived to the ride, the line was long, but there were refreshments for those in line. The lemonade hit the spot and I had plenty of time before I rode the ride to get the fluid into my system. When I saw the paint job for the Joker, I never thought emerald green and purple went well together, BUT THEY DO. Oh, I was young back then. I even bought a Joker's Jinx tee shirt. At that time I wore a large tee shirt. I don't remember what happened to the shirt, but I know I through...no...I believe I gave it to good will. When I finally got to the gated area, you had to pass by several mirrors that made you look distorted. For my first experience I went straight to the back where I had to wait a little longer. Why, because the rear is tighter? Because I like it in the rear? Or because the rear of the car is the fastest. This answer is the best answer. The front is the slowest, but the rear end gets pushed forwards because of the force of the front of the car. The middle seats are a natural point. In this case since it is a blast coaster it pretty much doesn't matter until you feel the rear end of the car moving faster from the pulling of the rest of the cars. The spiraling looks to the side way turns make this rollercoaster a lot of fun. Listening to one of the operator say "Hands Up, hands up, I wanna see your hands." Once everyone's hands were up, he would hit the go button and everyone in the coaster cars would shoot forwards. I would love to say The Joker's Jinx started the blast coasters craze, but it wouldn't be true. Still, I had a lot of fun. This ride is a steel ride and steel rides have been know to be smoother than the wooden rollercoasters. I wouldn't mind going on this ride again. I would call this a high thrill ride.
