(In response to your complaint Aruba T. 8-5-2020) This is how you speak to a potential customer? When we spoke, why didn't you inform me that you do not take male clients? You lied and said you were booked for the whole day, when in fact, I had my white friend call in to book an appointment with you and you accepted right after you denied me services. If you cater to women only, it should be specified. I find it odd you say you don't cater to men when one of your listed services is, "back waxing". Women usually don't need to wax their backs as it is a masculine trait to have back hair. It sounds like you are running a sexist establishment, which means you are discriminating against me based on my sex. Lastly, I am black; you are not black. The term, "person of color" can refer to anyone who is non-white and as you know, there are stories of "people of color" (Asian, Arab, Indian) who show racism toward black people at their businesses. I feel that discrimination is at work so I am going to show my attorney documentation of this and prior interactions. read more

I found Naz Threading & Beauty on Yelp and figured I would try. I got my eyebrows & lip threaded as well as a facial. The threading was great ( which is why I gave two stars) and the women was nice throughout all services. The Facial was the worst I have ever experienced. When I did not have a tank top on under my sweatshirt I was told to put on a random dirty shirt ( There is a picture of it). After that the facial started off with an overwhelming amount of oil that got in my hair, mouth, and felt disgusting. Once she realized it was getting into my hair she put a towel headband in my hair ( too late) . Throughout the facial I had multiple products in my mouth. By the end the products were still in my hair and my skin was red .Also the facial was $55.00!!! I do not think it was very sanitary and I will not be returning for any service. read more

Good eyebrow threading. I can't speak to their other services, but it seems reasonably priced, and they keep good hours. They do take awhile to thread, which causes exponentially more pain. I've been threading for 10 years now and I've never had someone go so slow - especially on a simply clean up! Salon also looked a little dirty. read more

I specifically told the person threading me that I did not want to have my face waxed because it is very sensitive. However, the person proceeds to ask to wax my face and I say not to wax my face, but that it was okay to wax below it. The person ended up waxing my face ignoring all of my requests which lead to bruising. Do not recommend as it is also highly expensive. read more

This was the first time I've gotten my eyebrows threaded by someone in CT. My brows ended up looking great, however, the price was a little higher than what I'm used to. She charged me $12 for the brows and at other places I normally only pay $6-$8. They also only take cash which was a little inconvenient. read more

let me start off by saying if I can give this place a zero I would! my sister daughter and I went in for up dos for a family wedding. We called ahead of time and were told the up dos were $40 and when we arrived they gave us different prices. I said okay that's fine as long as it's worth it. I noticed they didn't have the proper equipment needed and the place was very tight but we had no choice because the wedding was in a few Hours. long story short, they did a horrible HORRIBLE job on my hair I was close to crying. I told them what they were doing wrong and they kept insisting it was fine. when I finished I told the lady this is not what we agreed on and she basically knew they don't know how to do hair but insisted I pay $50 for a very bad hair do. I told her I'm not paying $50 for this then she began yanking and brushing my hair and damping it with a load of water STAY AWAY from this place. It's very unprofessional and the ladies who work there have no idea what they are doing! read more

This is the second time going. The first time went well! I have thick eyebrows and I love them thick, so everytime I get my eyebrows done, I make sure to let them know I don't want my eyebrows to be skinny, I even showed her a picture of one that got done some months ago. This time around when I went it was a different lady so I told her and showed her the picture. Guess what she did? She make my eyebrows super skinny and now I look ugly. I go to Naz for brow shaping and facials. She is absolutely the best! I only trust her with my eyebrows. Every time I go they look amazing. I get compliments all the time. I also get her facials when I need to de-stress and let me tell you, her massages are the best! My skin always glows afterwards. I usually do not leave reviews but in this case I have to. I would give this place a ZERO if I could. I made an appointment with Naz because every other review said that she was the best. I called and made an appointment for eyebrows and eyelash extensions (the single ones). I get there and Naz says that the girl who does the single extensions won't be there until tomorrow.... so then she convinces me to get the glue on strip ones. They look AWFUL. Not to mention that she kept getting glue in my eyes which was burning and had the audacity to pick up the phone and start talking on the phone while she's doing them and my eyes are literally red and watering and burning!! Now I have chunks of white glue that is noticeable all over my lashes and I can't get them off! Also my eyebrows look terrible. She made them so thin!! Who the f**k wants thin eyebrows nowadays. So back to growing them out :| Overall it was a terrible experience and I will NEVER go back. I recommend nobody else goes there either. read more
