Honestly, I am beyond frustrated with the state of our healthcare system. Just trying to get an…read moreappointment is a circus, and when I finally do, despite having "good" insurance, I still get hit with surprise bills over $400 every single time. I'm so over it. Here's the kicker: I called my longtime doctor's office (the one that knows my full history and recurring issues) to let them know I was having a flare up again and needed antibiotics before things escalated. Instead of listening, they refused to prescribe the medication unless I came in. Suddenly, they have availability, convenient. I go in, explain everything again, and they prescribe a different antibiotic. Only to call me the next day to say oops, they made a mistake and I needed the exact antibiotic I'd originally asked for. Spoiler alert: I ended up needing surgery after finally seeing a specialist. So thanks for not listening, really appreciate that! It's incredibly disappointing and disheartening to feel like your voice and health concerns are treated like an afterthought, especially when the consequences are this serious. Unfortunatly, I will probably be back because its where my insurance is at and trying to find a decent doctor that is "accepting new patients" is a struggle.

Front desk at allergy department offers poor customer service seems, like the employees aren't getting paid enough or unhappy. Dr. Neil Parikh, is very knowledgeable and good at his specialty of practice. Wish he had a private practice! However if you're having an issue with allergies and you ask for referral to another physician i.e. ear nose and throat doctor, you'll have to go through your primary care physician. They will not give you any guidance if you're suffering from allergy flareup. Better off going to urgent care for immediate help or finding a self referral ENT doctor, who can help while you're getting allergy shots. Take away points do your research on doctors and the type of insurance you have. Beaware of how to help yourself if you're having a hay-fever flareup. I think everybody can agree when you're sick and feeling uncomfortable you want to be helped right away not wait endless amount of time.

Dr.Patel is a good doctor…read more My 5 star review is not just about the doctor, but of the staff. Karol(I hope I spelled it right) is a rockstar that any doctor would love to have, but luckily she's with Dr.Patel. We needed help after being discharged from the hospital and the hospital dropped the ball when it came to getting us care afterward. Karol helped us get set up an apointment with the doctor, alerted the doctor to how serious the matter was, and made what we needed possible.

This is by far the worst doctor experience I've had. I chose Sapna as my PCP a couple years ago…read morebecause she was close by. I rarely need a doctor other than to refill my couple of prescriptions. I saw her twice in two years, once for neck and knee pain, and another a year later for hand and wrist pain. The first time, she barely listened and her only question was "have you ever thought about losing weight?". For neck pain? Per the xray results and the consulting physician, my neck showed results far more severe than for my age. Sapna never addressed this. Recently I saw her for severe sudden pain in my hands and wrists. Her question? "Your neck and knee used to hurt, you have lots of aches and pains". I was ultimately diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis after insisting that Sapna refer me to a specialist. Neither she not her office respond to requests for prescription refills. I'm currently having to go cold turkey off my antidepressant because her office refuses to respond. I just switched to another doctor today.

This is a review that I should have written 9 months ago but, better late than never. Caution, this…read moreis long! In October of 2019, I spent 10 days in the hospital in Southern California while visiting family. Having just moved to Northern California, I did not have an infections disease doctor and had never had a reason to have one. I was very ill and was very lucky to still be alive. In order to be released from the hospital, I had to have an infectious disease doctor close to home that would accept me as a new patient. This was no easy task and my wife spent 2 full days on the phone trying to secure a doctor. It was beyond measure what she was going through to get a doctor to take me as a patient. The red tape and road blocks that all of the doctors presented, made it look like we were going to have to spend 6 more weeks in Southern California while I completed infusions as an outpatient. This is where Dr. Kailath enters the picture. My wife found her on line and called her office. She was greeted by a welcoming staff that was sensitive to the situation and for the first time, we had a front office staff that had a can do attitude. After many phone calls between my wife and the staff, they had everything arranged including the outpatient infusions. In an age where doctors have less and less time for patients and seem to have forgotten why they became doctors to begin with, Dr. Kailath is the exception. From my first visit, it was clear that we had found the right doctor! She saved my life! She is a true professional and her knowledge is second to none. Her caring attitude and understanding for what I was going through, made my road to recovery smooth. To say I was in good hands is a huge understatement. She was everything you could ask for in a doctor! If you are reading this then, you are in need of this kind of specialist. Well, look no further! Many, many thanks to Dr. Kailath and her wonderful staff! You gave me the opportunity to be around to write this review.
