They're relying on super tired same ol', same ol' stuff like WCTH (which after watching about 20 minutes of an episode, I found to be one of the most boring shows they've ever aired and yet they keep bringing it back? Such nice folks work here at the gate, and they fed us well on the production. But if you don't have breakfast or lunch just outside the gate on Ventura Blvd is Trader Joe's and a TON of other great restaurants--I can't imagine you not finding something you like within a few blocks. There are streets at this studio named for the classic shows filmed here like: Gilligan's Island, Mary Tyler Moore, and Gunsmoke. Very historic lot.

The rapport and banter between everyone is natural, genuine, and entertaining. It never feels forced, and it puts a smile on my face while still keeping me informed. Please let the entire Sunday morning team know they're doing a terrific job. They made my morning, and I hope they keep bringing that same warmth, humor, and camaraderie every Sunday.

There are several things not just one that I would like to make a difference on, one being to help house the homeless and find therapist to donate their time to help with their mental wellbeing, two would be to help our veterans find housing and affordable health care for them & help them integrate back into society, three to help bring a cure for cancer for both adults and especially Children. I can go on & on. I was greeted with respect and support from the staff here & the producer's meet me as I was headed to my dressing room and filled me in on the do's & don't during the interview and gave me a heads up on the questions that would be asked & I informed them that my personal life is off limits. There is also an ABC billboard for Courtney Cox's Cougar Town near where I live. It is definitely not the busiest intersection. I haven't seen another Cougar Town billboard anywhere in Los Angeles so maybe they aren't giving it that much of a push. I can't really blame them. With a name like Cougar Town, I can't imagine it lasting very long. Just imagine an entertainment reporter saying, "And the top shows this week according to Nielsen ratings were Dancing With The Stars, American Idol, Grey's Anatomy, House, and Cougar Town." ABC's best show is Lost. Lost really went through a phase where it really seemed to be going sideways (just teasing the audience with "might mean this, might mean that" and not moving the story forward). The creators/producers though have gotten the show back on track. I'm really looking forward to next season (which is the final one). In terms of guilty pleasures, ABC has two of the better ones in The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. Each show has been able to maintain decent Nielsen ratings. In fact, in recent years, they have shown some growth, which is a testament to ABC keeping the show fresh and bringing in interesting people (contestants). In my book, out of all the reality show hosts, you can't beat Chris Harrison. ABC's big plus is college football. They have great coverage of Pac-10 games (as well as Big 12 and Big 10), and they do a very good job with the BCS games in January. I do wish ABC's Keith Jackson was still in the booth. He had a great, distinguishable voice; he was also probably the most knowledgeable play-by-play announcer in the game.

As a millennium, I didn't even know that Television was in Black & White. But I do remember, when I've watched my favorite shows such as The X files, The Lone Ranger, Charlie Angels or sometimes with my family, I've to watch the boring soaps like Dynasty. The television culture is more than just a show. It's a family gathering, learning identities, and also primarial source for information back in my childhood. IMHO, this could better than bombarded by social media (s). What is unfolding would make you very happy in Saban Media Center. According to Emmy's official website, this theater has been celebrating 70 year of Television. As a member of Sag-Aftra & Television Academy, I'd be honored to attend events here. The Wolf Theater at Saban Media can host 600 seats for the screening event. The breeze around the garden and the vibe is so serendipitous in the TV academy. The Wolf Theater is named after Dick and Noelle Wolf. This is one of my favorite places in North Hollywood and the invitation only for the industry people. Though, mostly you could bring your significant other from time to time depending on the event. There's plenty of up-scale restaurants around Noho if you've done and grab a bite later on. But Dive Bars? Here it's tips; The Brickyard, Risky Business (my fav) and even El Tejano, the spicy mexican night bar or if you're looking for action, The Bullet Bar is quite well-known for LGBTQA+. You don't need to go down Studio City or Toluca Lake. Literally 5 minute walk from TV Academy. The NoHo becomes hit for youngsters and glad that TV Academy made the right choice to called home here in North Hollywood. This Saban Media Center is exquisite and this is your time to shine how sophisticated you can be with your plus one. I'll close out with true appreciation for Saban Media Center at Television Academy and many more to come. See you 2025 ! ! !

What a beautiful theater and a beautiful complex in general…read more This is the home of the Television Academy and it does not disappoint. I went here recently for a screening, and the theater they have is beautiful. It's large, the seats are very comfortable. Very, very nice. They have screenings, talkbacks, and plenty of other fun industry things that go on here. The exterior of the complex is also quite nice. It almost makes you forget that you're in the heart of North Hollywood. There is also a parking garage, which offers a discounted rate if you are attending a screening (it is also open to the public). I had a lovely time visiting here and hope I can be back soon.
