Discovered this place from when I picked up an order from DoorDashing. Such a gem!!!! It's located in a busy shopping area near Kohls off of Durant and Falls of Neuse Road. They have some seating but it looks like more of a "carry-out" spot. I ordered the Vegatable YakiSoba Noodles with a Side Salad and a Spring Roll. The Noodles are sooo good ! The vegetables are zucchini, onions, carrots and broccoli in which are sautéed like hibachi style and mixed in the Noodles. It does come with Yum-Yum or White Sauce. It's so good !!!! Opening my plate of chicken & steak hibachi I asked how much the plate was. When hubby replied, "$12", I literally hung my head and let out a deep sigh. We've all experienced that major disappointment after expecting a delicious meal. Before even taking a bite I knew this wasn't going to be good just based on the measly portion. For the first time ever I added salt & pepper to my hibachi. That's how under-seasoned it was. The veggies tasted like they were thrown on the grill for 30 seconds max. I came here for hibachi since I was craving it and my boyfriend recommended this place as somewhere he used to go a lot. Overall it was fine but not spectacular. We both got the chicken hibachi, which is $8.35 as of Sept 2021. The portions were fine but nothing too impressive - my boyfriend said the meals used to be bigger when he went there back in the day. You definitely get more food at certain other places. In particular, it felt like there wasn't quite enough vegetables and chicken for the amount of rice we got. The rice was also a little bland for being fried rice. Keep in mind: they no longer have a self service sauce area (maybe because of the pandemic?) so you get 2 sauce cups with your entree, and you can pay extra for additional ones. We just stuck with the yum yum sauce but they also have ginger sauce and teriyaki. The guy at the register was friendly and the food came out pretty quickly. No issues with the service. The inside of the restaurant isn't huge but they do have booth seating and a fountain drink machine. read more

Lets first start with how terrible the customer service is at this establishment. My family's order was incorrect and we were made to go back to the restaurant to exchange our food for new plates. While there, we were verbally disrespected by those that worked in the front/at the register. Once we received our food and were finally able to eat, the food was disgusting. The rice was over cooked, the chicken was not seasoned and the vegetables were mushy. Also, they barely give you any food for the price of it. Will never be returning. I love hibachi. Probably my favorite food. Hubby and I were out and decided to stop in. The menu is posted on the window/door. The prices are very reasonable. We asked someone how is it? And she said it was good. That she eats there often. We both ordered the steak and chicken. They give you good size portions. White rice has a bit of soy sauce but nonetheless, the rice and food is pretty bland. It was fresh. The service was nice. The gentleman at the counter was cordial. However, the food needs seasoning. It wasn't terrible just not great. And I was really hungry. It just didn't make me feel like I had to keep eating. We did eat it all. My hubby said it was good. He agreed the rice was very bland. We did like that you can help yourself to the yum yum sauce and the ginger. The place appears clean. Their sanitation rating is 95 something. The atmosphere is nice. There are booths. Best hibachi in the triangle!! Only place that competes is their Knightdale location. Consistently great service and food (my boyfriend and I always get the shrimp hibachi and chicken hibachi). There was no flavor in either of the two kinds. The fish was cut into little pieces as if it was supposed to be used for something else. And even though it only cost around six dollars, it was six dollars I threw in the garbage because not only was it not filling, it tasted bad. There was a ton of spicy mayo on top, maybe they thought that would camouflage the lack of fish with flavor. I have eaten at this restaurant in the past and was not incredibly impressed with it, but my brother and I stopped her for lunch this past weekend and I was blown away by how delicious everything was! We both ordered hibachi - I got the chicken and he got the steak & chicken. Everything was flavorful, served fresh and you really get the best bang for your buck! They give you HUGE portions and my entree was less than $7. I'm glad they have a station where you can fill up your own containers of yum yum and ginger sauces - other hibachi places charge for extra sauce. My family and I decided to stop at this restaurant since it is close to other restaurants. I got it and my family went to two other places. They had a deal on there website, if you buy a meal and buy a spring roll, you get a soft drink for 99 cents. Unfortunately, they said it was an old deal that was still on their website. I decided to just get food anyways. I got chicken and shrimp with no vegetables, just rice and I got 2 of their ginger sauces. They have the worst ginger sauce in the history of ginger sauces, and you get just about no meat. Definitely not going there and spend quite a bit of money for very little quantity of meat! This was a highly disappointing meal. First of all you didn't know when it was ready. The site never said it was done like it was supposed to. The bar never extended across all the way. Then I get home and there is an underwhelming amount of food. I know I'm going to need to eat after I eat. The steak is very mediocre, the veggies are way undercooked, and the yum yum sauce is watery. So glad I didn't spend more money for an extra watery yum yum sauce.
